Big Red Removals.

Great team, Both Adam and Michael were very kind and super professional, all the move was done in record time and they were very careful with my things and I can’t thank you more. Also they were very supportive in confirming the time, the called before to make sure I was ready. It all went well and I'm very happy with the service. I very much recommend them.

All made so easy to move.

Having seen a neighbour use the company I asked them for there opionion and they were full of praise for the company so no problem and gave them a call. James putt putted up to the front door and we were off.. Knowing what our neighbour had said and also aware of his costs we were dealt with in a great friendly manner. Having had grim moves in the past we kept fingers crossed but this move was a joy. Having moved to rental for a year these guy's will be back for the next move no problem.

BRR considers their time more valuable than yours

Don’t hire Big Red Removals. They value their time more than they value yours.

BRR was storing my items in London, and in April 2021 I had requested they move these from London to Gloucester. They quoted an exorbitant rate for that move – £700 – with the argument that other removals people charging half as much are unreliable, arrive late and don’t do what they say they’ll do. In addition, BRR told me that they’d charge me £70 for every hour a less-expensive removals team is late for picking up my items from their storage facility.

BRR themselves ended up being 1.5 hours late in delivering my items to Gloucester – claiming they had trouble finding a parking space despite me telling their team ahead of time where to park (indeed they ended up parking on the street I had initially recommended). As anyone who has crossed the country for an important job interview will tell you, there are many ways to avoid being late when you’ve promised to be on time.

Interestingly the company’s manager who had quoted the £700 to me, and who was part of the group who delivered my stuff, didn’t introduce himself on the day ...

Later I sent BRR an invoice requesting £105 back for their late arrival, exactly what they would have charged a late competitor for wasting their time, and four weeks later I haven’t received anything.

BRR requested more money for a better service, but they didn’t deliver on their promises, didn’t consider my time important, and haven’t owned up to their mistake. Don’t hire them. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

Dishonest and caused damage

Majorly damaged items, overcharged way over quote and even left items behind.

They did not respond to my 10 emails to fix anything and I am left with costs to fix damaged items and a crack in my wall where they hit a picture frame.

They were then late and said they were having lunch and charging me for it!

I think the reason they have so many google profiles is because they are trying to avoid having a justifiably low rating. Highly recommend using another company.

Excellent service especially given the quantity of items to be moved. Attentive management from James which followed through to a well mannered conscientious site team.
A move that we were dreaded was made to look simple.

Stellar service.

Normally I do not review. But in this Case, I just have to. Big Red's is by far and away the best office removal company I have ever used. The Driver on the day was courteous, polite and nothing was too much trouble, except the traffic warden. The company swears by Big Red's and now so do I. Cheers!

Big Bad Red Removals.

I thought all was fine, and on the day they appeared to do the job well; but actually though they broke lots of items - e.g. big cracks in antique furniture, massive dent in the fridge, broken paintings frames. If that wasn't it - unannounced, they charged me 6 MONTHS LATER a fee 'for difficult access' all of a sudden and TOOK THE MONEY OFF MY CARD!! No mention of anything like this on the day or beforehand at the consultation. Total cowboys!

Big Red guy did a great job to help me out with moving a few stuff to a new apartment. Not only was he fast and cheerful, but he was also very helpful with giving me a lift to IKEA to return some more boxes and then back to base. Excellent professional. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended.

Very happy. The removals crew were very professional and experienced. During the move, there was an unexpected issue that could have been a big problem. One member of the crew was incredibly resourceful and managed to work around the problem in minutes, saving a lot of time.

Great job!

Would definitely recommend Big Red. We used them a couple times last year. Once to pack and move to our new house, then again to store furniture etc. while we had our house renovated. The guys were quick and professional despite us having 2 small children running around.
