Booked for a business move 3 weeks in advance. Still no confirmation of pick up time on day of the pickup, driver not answering calls, customer service constantly fobbing off and refused to let me talk to a manager. Problem isn't with the booking system, it's that they company do not seem to have any control or professional expectations of the driver contractors (who seem to be total cowboys). I booked with them expecting a professional services - feel like I might as well as taken a name off a flyer at a bus stop. Very poor.

The men arrived on time and immediately started work on shifting the goods. They were careful when negotiating difficult corners and stairs and were polite at all times. We offered them refreshments but they said that they had their own supplies with them. All delicate items were carefully wrapped and secured. At the other end they were just as willing and efficient even after a long delay on the motorway (genuine), held them up. I was very impressed and would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Whilst the removal guy was super helpful loading the van and unloading it, he was reluctant to help us take our things up to our second floor apartment even though we had specified and paid for that service. Our journey was an hour and a half of absolute hell. The driver was talking on his phone, listening to really loud music, and eating a full take-away meal during the journey. He was so heavily distracted that I feared for my life as we were travelling down the M25 veering into the other lanes and onto the hard shoulder a ridiculous amount of times. He was cutting other traffic up and squeezing himself in front of other vehicles, and he even fell asleep(!!) at some traffic lights, which we had to then wake him up.

We booked Anyvan after reading the Trustpilot reviews to collect and deliver a sofa for us. After confirming the day before the driver would be coming they didn't turn up on the day. When we called they said they would be there in an hour and were running late. After 5 more phone calls continually being told the same story and a wait of 10 hours we realised that they were complete liars. Absolutely appalling customer service and a total lack of communication. Still awaiting a refund. Used Shipley the next day and they were brilliant. Avoid Anyvan at all costs.

If I had read the review of some of the customers AnyVan ripped off them I wouldn't have booked a job with them. Is a rip off removal company and I wouldn't recommend anyone to book a job with them. Firstly, when I booked with AnyVan I gave them my contact number but they decided to send massages to the wrong number l called them to mend it which they said they've done it which never happen. I booked a job with them to pick a television on Saturday and on the said day I waited and waited not even a text message that they are on their way, 6 minutes to the deadline I called the driver he gave me a shock of my life that they are suppose to collect the item on Sunday. I called the office and it took me over 30 minutes to talk with a staff infact, it was very frustrating I have to call another van company and because it was a short notice I paid more. I requested for my refund from AnyVan and was rejected they even cancelled the job without asking for my permission. They send two different drivers names which to me they don't know what they are doing. They are not trustworthy company to deal with and I have regretted doing business with them.

I booked the collection of a two seater sofa, clearly stated on booking as a "two seater sofa". Yet it turned up in a van that was dirty and old and too small for the job that contained an oily spare wheel, on removing the sofa from the van the cover was ripped and covered in oil, which will not come out. This is a quote from the Any van website instructions to drivers, code of conduct:
All customer goods will be packed appropriately and safely, showing a heightened duty of care throughout all moves. Don’t take risks, use more blankets if necessary. This makes you feel your item will be taken care of but beware as it is a lie my pale yellow sofa was not wrapped at all and no care was taken!!
When I contacted Anyvan I was told by customer services that they do not care what condition your item arrives in, they do not care what happens to it on the way, I quote "if the driver gets it dirty and breaks it that is fine so long as he delivers it!"
The sofa I bought is totally ruined. Anyvan charged me £98.00 to ruin it!!
It is not worth the risk with a company that has no pride or customer service.

Having booked and paid for a 'man & van' I thought everything would be fine. I had an email on Saturday confirming the move for Monday morning between 0900 and 1000. I received a call at 0906 telling me that a driver had not been allocated but they were doing everything they could to find me one.
They promised to call me back after an hour. Nothing happened so I called them to be told they were still working on it!
At 1354 I received a call telling me that the earliest they could do anything would be later that afternoon.
This was very helpful as I had to be out by Noon and my goods were now on the street!
Thankfully I found a company who could do the job immediately.
Moving is stressful enough without added pressure from a removal company failing.
Please, I beg you all..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Awful experience overall, making the moving process more stressful than it needed to be. Overall poor service and customer care, with the whole thing seeming to be a money making sham.

When I booked, it was not clear from the website you had to pay more for a specific time. I was told 8-6pm and presumed you then contact the driver to arrange a specific time. Turns out you pay more for a specific time and we were not allowed to do this subsequently as it was 'too late'. We were therefore at the bottom of the queue and were allocated the time of 4-6. We then had to rearrange 2 check-out and check-in times.

The driver arrived late at 6.30 and instantly complained our amount of boxes and bags did not match the exact booking (we had a few more boxes but a few less bags so presumed this would be ok). They therefore charged us a futher £20 fee upfront and refused to accomodate myself or all our stuff in the van. I therefore had to get a train alone, laden with bags.

I have complained by telephone with little interest or response except "our company policy is on the website". I have moved house many times with various companies and never been treated so badly. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT use this company..they'll just squeeze you for money!!

They let us down:
We rented 1 van + 2 drivers (extra payment). We detailed all the boxes we had, allowing for a bit more boxes to make sure there was going to be enough space.
On the moving day, they left us a voicemail saying that the van was going to be 1 hour late.
The drivers arrived at 18:00, drinking a bottle of cola, being very rude and they didn’t seem to feel like working, apart from that the van didn’t seem to be big enough to carry all our boxes.
We had our boxes inside our flat, on the 1st floor. We had some boxes on the 4th floor, but most of them on the 1st floor. The drivers said that the boxes should be on the ground floor already which is what we booked (it wasn’t clear when we booked that should be like that) but we asked if they could please wait 5 minutes until we put boxes on the ground floor, and then, while they are loading the van, we would be taken the rest of the boxes out, to the ground floor.
They said that they were not going to wait, they didn’t even want to put the boxes from the ground floor in van (which doesn’t make sense, as we paid extra for two people to help us with the drivers) and they said that they were going to leave.
We asked, please stay, we will pay more if necessary, but we need to move out of the house now, we can help we can put the boxes wherever you need, but please don’t leave, allow us for some time with you (as far as I know when you rent a van for a moving it takes time to load all the boxes and unload the boxes to the new please, where they expecting to do the moving in 15 minutes?).
The drivers left at 18:15h. They spent with us 15 minutes and they left without giving the service, we were at the entrance of the house without a van to move.
We talked to the head office about what was happening and they said they were not going to refund the money as the boxes were not on the ground floor. So basically, they were allowed to come one hour late, but then the spent with us 15 minutes and they left.
This is not acceptable. Very rude drivers, very bad service, and obviously I don’t recommend this company to anybody.
