Allen & Young Ltd.

Excellent service, friendly and transparent

I booked Allen & Young on a personal recommendation and they exceeded even those expectations. Andy and Brandon were friendly, helpful and thoughtful, explaining the process and were done early despite living 3 stories up without a lift. Would recommend and book again!

Barbican move

Glad to have come across Kelvin and the team in what is a competitive market.

Moved in and out of Barbican for building works with a 6 week storage period in between.

Well priced / good men / efficient at what they do - I fully recommend.

Packing and Removals

Did brilliant packing and removals for me in Colindale. Very friendly, careful, efficient and patient. Had a tricky situation waiting for keys to new home which added hours to their day. Can't thank and recommend this firm enough.

Great removal service

Allen & Young did a great move for me from Willesden to Hampstead. Everything was neatly stowed into the van and unpacked and reassembled at the other end. Efficient and friendly team. Good value too. Highly recommended.

A completely stress-free move to St Albans!

We recently used Allen and Young Removals for our move from Hendon to St Albans, and I cannot recommend them enough. We opted for a two-day service with packing on the first day and the move on the second, which made the entire process incredibly relaxed.

The team was professional, friendly, and treated our belongings with the utmost respect. The packing was thorough and everything arrived safely. It honestly felt like a care-free experience, which is rare for moving houses. If you want a smooth, professional move, go with Allen and Young.

Exceptionally good service

We are absolutely delighted to have found Allen & Young. Kelvin was efficient, courteous, helpful and professional from the outset. No difficult web forms to complete. He was able to assess our needs from simply talking them through. There was no unnecessary communication or harassment, simply an agreement with follow up confirmation. This was such a relief after the stress we had experienced from other companies.

On the day, Kelvin and Andy turned up punctually and showed consummate knowledge and care in the way they handled all the furniture. They gave us an expected time of arrival and confirmed a more exact time when they were nearer our house. My daughter, who received them, reported that the men were lovely. They carefully sorted and placed things where asked, making the chairs look as though they had always belonged and ensuring items stowed in the hall and garage were treated just as carefully. When we returned home after a terrible journey, we nearly cried with gratitude at what a good job Kelvin and Andy had done. Throughout the process, Allen & Young were gentle, polite, supportive and understanding. We would recommend them very highly indeed.

HOUSE CLEARANCE AND REMOVAL

We used Allen & Young to clear unwanted items before a house move and the used them for the removal.

Kelvin provided a price for the job and give us some invaluable information to help things go to plan. The teamof 3 arrived onsite on time and were very polite and did a great job on the clearance and worked really hard. As agreed they arrived ontime to complete the removal, again very polite and professional.

Everything went to plan and they made the whole process as painless as possible.Kelvin and his 2 colleagues are a credit to Allen & Young and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Prompt and professional service

At short notice, Kelvin provided us with his guys who were considerate, helpful and hard working to move furniture in advance of room redecoration and take away unwanted items. A major headache wiped away in a morning!

Highly recommended.

Outstanding and efficient team

Kelvin and his team did a fabulous job and were hard working, friendly and extremely efficient. Faced with some difficult circumstances, they continued to be professional throughout the day and stayed late, with no fuss, to make sure the job was done in one day.

Moving house can be very stressful but they turned it into a fun day!

Kelvin was recommended to me by a good friend and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future.

I will only ever use Allen & Young for any future removals.

Packing up house, removals and storage

A very professional service - they packed up my entire house, sorted out storage, dealt with removals and then my complicated phased returns as building work was completed in different bits of the house. They were meticulous in taking care of fragile items, all the boxes were clearly labelled identifying contents and which room. Friendly, helpful, efficient, hardworking, experienced, and value for money. I needed different parts of the house packed at different times, storage over a long period and part returns at various stages over a 9 month period.

I strongly recommend them - Kelvin, Andy and the team are very good at their job. They took all the stress out of a difficult time. Cheerful, always happy to deal with any awkward requests, I cannot fault them. If I ever need to move again, Kelvin is the first person I will call.

Saint Kelvin!

We recently moved from London up to Herefordshire. We had a large, four storey house which was full of furniture and objects acquired over a thirty year period We moved to a much smaller property and knew that it would be quite a task storing all the boxes and furniture.

Kelvin had accurately estimated what type of boxes and how many we would need. He planned to move us in two vehicles over a four day period. The move began on a Monday with Kelvin, Andy and a friendly team of very professional guys who arrived on time .

Moving house is extremely stressful but we were in excellent hands. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was polite, respectful and kind as they carefully packed their two large vans.

The unpacking of the vans at the new property the next day was as expertly done. The attention as to where and how to stack everything from the old home into the new one was accomplished with constant checking that things were going into the places where it would be easy to see the labels and find again.

We really can’t praise this company highly enough and wholeheartedly recommend them if you want a trouble free move by an experienced, kind and very professional crew

If you have to use removals - you can't do better than Allen and Young

Kelvin, and his team really set our house move off to a good start. They took the dishevelled state of our home in good spirits as we dismantled 16 years of family life. The only comments they ever made were compliments/ at both our old and our new house. They packed our fragile and electric items fantastically well and labelled everything clearly enough that we have had no trouble unpacking. And they cheerfully put up with the many boxes we had packed far less expertly. Kelvin did his best to keep the costs reasonable. It was a very long day and not one of the team complained or slacked. Our friends commented on how hard they were working right up to the end- traipsing up and down three flights of stairs

If Carlsberg did removals

Move from Uxbridge to Cardiff. Over 2 days October 2024.

Total cost of packing, packing materials, and the move carried out by 5 members of the team over 2 days. £3276.59.

I cannot praise Kelvin and his team enough for helping us through the extreme stress that moving house always seems to put you under. We certainly feel that we were very lucky in being able to employ the services of Kelvin, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads for our long move to South Wales. We had a few works of art to move, fragile ornaments and several items consisting of glass shelving so we required a removal company that would be careful, respectful and knowledgeable of packaging and safe transit of our goods and most certainly Allen & Young were excellent and completely faultless in carrying out this task.

As agreed, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads turned up on time the day before the move with all the materials needed and proceeded to carefully pack all the items that we required to take with us, mark the contents on the boxes, and put them on the van. All the lads were friendly and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for them even though a 10 hr day must've been tough they worked tirelessly until every item was…
