Move & Clean International

After about 8 years of storing the furniture, my mother-in-law wanted it back. She left me to organize this. I canceled the contract on time for the end of June. The letter came back unopened - note. Was not picked up! Again I wrote a letter with the reference to the first one, the termination and that I should be contacted immediately, with the power of attorney from my mother-in-law. BUT again the registered letter came back. After a number of unsuccessful calls, a woman actually called me back. We were then able to agree on a pick-up date. She promised to confirm this, with the date and time. Unfortunately, this was also ignored and I was there three days before the agreed date without any precise information. I made another call. Again nobody answered at first. Then a woman called me back. Unfortunately everyone spoke very bad German. She then didn't know anything about a pick-up date that was agreed with me. Slowly I found these games not that funny anymore. I then made her aware of my letters, my emails and my phone calls and made it clear to her that I would come to pick up the furniture in two days at 2 p.m. Strangely enough, suddenly all of my emails were found and the appointment was confirmed.
Day X was there, we were standing on Lerzenstrasse in Dietikon on Friday 2 p.m. and wanted to pick up our furniture. A very arrogant woman said to me on the phone that I was an hour early and that they agreed with me at 3 p.m., only then would I receive the furniture. Breathing deeply was the order of the day. She then received us, and I had to show her a power of attorney to receive this furniture. Well, of course I didn't have one with me, if you had accepted the notice you would have had a power of attorney. A call to my mother-in-law, but then clarified. But this was just the beginning. I should then pay 200.- for providing the furniture, otherwise there would be no furniture. This was not mentioned in any of the contracts, nor was it mentioned in any of the phone calls. I was getting really mad. When this woman spat at my feet and insulted me primitively several times in front of my family, my patience was at the end. I called the police. They came, and suddenly this woman was sweet as an angel, and we got our furniture as agreed. The police, your friend and helper.

We hired Move and Clean international (MCI) for both our move from canton Zug to Zurich and also the final cleaning of our old apartment. MCI brought the moving cartons few weeks before the move and that was enough cartons for the move. When they arrived in the morning of the moving day, they started taking apart furniture and prepare the bigger items for the move.  So that we would not be in their way, we left for few hours and let them do their work.  When we came back, they had moved most of the stuff in the moving cars and were just finalizing everything.  I was surprised when I saw that they did not cover the floors with anything but I thought that they knew what they were doing.  Which later came clear was not the case. When they showed up to our new apartment, it was the same procedure.  Much to our displeasure, we saw that they had put our racing bikes on top of the moving stuff that caused damages to the gearing on one of bike.   Again there was no protection on the floors when they moved the stuff from the cars to the apartment.  When they had finished moving everything, we noticed one of the cupboards was damaged.  Since the damages does not show (it is on the back side), we did not make much of problem with that. What we noticed after they had left caused our more concern.  The closet in the main bedroom was poorly put together and big scratches on the floor in our new apartment on the few locations.  We were little bit worried when we went to see the old apartment, since we did not have the time to look at it in more details.  What we found there were even worse.  Number of scratches in the apartment, the lift floor was badly scratched (after pushing things into it without cover on the floor) and the wall going down was damaged.  Most likely when they scraped our furniture on the wall that caused part of paint to scrape of. Right after the damages, we contacted MCI about it.  We sent MCI both pictures and letter from the house owner where we were asked to pay for the damages.  We asked the MCI only to cover the painter and what was not covered by the insurance for the lift.  They said that they are going to pay it within one week but nothing happens.  We have been calling and sending them emails to try to get them to pay for the damages they caused (actually only part of the damages they caused) but now 5 months later, they still have not done anything.  I absolutely cannot recommend MCI for any moving.    .

We made our move with the company Move & Clean.
We got several inquiries but in the end we decided on this company.
All in all, we are very satisfied with the move.
The moving staff came by on time, as discussed in advance.
No items were damaged during packing.
Everything went very quickly and everything went smoothly during loading.
My removal goods then went to their warehouse for 2 months.
From our old apartment to the warehouse and then from the warehouse to the new apartment, it ended up being 2,400.

Everything that had been agreed in advance was not adhered to and then they wanted even more money !!
A lot of furniture was very badly damaged, as well as a lamp completely defective and the stereo system several corners.

my clothes etc. were simply torn apart and thrown into cardboard boxes, afterwards everything had to be ironed again, although everything had been sorted and ironed in the closet beforehand.
and and and, I could do other things all day long ..
In the old place of residence they demolished the whole stairwell, for which I now get an invoice of almost 1000.- from the administration at the time.
Mr. Yilmaz knows about the damage, but he just gets in touch. I am more, I will now hand everything over to my lawyer.

I hired MCI last September for a move within Zurich. Out of 5 offers, I chose Move Clean International not for price reasons but because of their professional appearance.. I though. Moreover I received a confirmation from MCI that they are well-insured at a well-known Swiss insurer.
The employees arrived on time but they took more or less one hour to arrange the elevator.
During the move a valuable old mirror get broken although the mirror was well-packed. I immediatly declared the loss accurately (fotos and first estimation) asking for a confirmation of receipt. I never received a feedback.
Meanwhile the mirror has been repared by a specialist and I sent the full dossier to MCI. Despite 4 reminders since Januar 2016, I never received any feedback from the company. Hopeless I sent the complete file to the insurer, but until today I did not received any feedback either. I am not sure that MCI was ever insured..
To me, not the right way to care with customers. I do not recommend MCI at all.

We moved with Move Clean last May.
The company is not honest or correct in any way.
The moving costs would have exceeded X hundreds of francs because they only came with a delivery van even though the volume was given in advance.
Furniture de / assemble Word as done by beginners. No idea!
Packaging equal to zero
Our furniture would be scratched, damaged or parts would disappear.
Poor hygiene.
We took photos of all of our damaged items and furniture and reported them immediately. At some point, after countless phone calls and threats, Mr. Yömaz showed up and declared himself ready "himself" as he is a trained carpenter to repair everything and put it in order.
We did not respond to the offer and commissioned Möbel Märki as well as Möbel Hubacher to repair all employees' furniture parts, since we had bought the furniture there 2 years earlier. Where we had agreed with Mr. Ylmaz, we forwarded all the invoices to him so that he could the insurance company registers and pays.
Then there were reminders and our letters, both normal and registered, were ignored.
When I threatened Mr. Ylmaz with debt enforcement and bankruptcy, he agreed to pay the 1450.00 Fr in two times.
That was 3 weeks ago (after almost a year 02/12/2016) until today nothing has been paid.
Neither he nor Ms. Gatti from the office answers calls and emsils.
So we decided to take legal action against the company
Property damage and fraud charges have already been filed.
Operation also and bankruptcy proceedings are currently being examined.
Such companies and people have no place in this branch!
Look at other people's reviews and consider whether they would hire the company.
To all those affected who have had the same problems, I recommend that you file the charge for property damage etc. to the Lommatal District Court and make all claims apply

In March 2016 we moved the Move & Clean company. After obtaining several alternative offers, this company was by far not the cheapest, but the performance was very professional and solid for the complete move we wanted with packing / unpacking, furniture, etc. as well as final cleaning.
Insurance, price, detailed relocation items and dates were recorded in a contract and confirmed in writing. Unfortunately, the move then took well over 7 days instead of the planned 2-3 days. Even then, the contractually guaranteed services were only partially provided (less than 50% unpacked and assembled - which we ultimately had to do ourselves in order not to lose more time). The company had to interrupt in the meantime, as some workers were arrested by the police on our premises on suspicion of undeclared work and as a result summons to the police blocked the company. For these days and the resulting delays, we were also charged additional costs despite the flat-rate contract. When we refused, asked for the move to be completed and reported the damage to expensive furniture that was caused in front of our eyes (allegedly insured) on time and in accordance with the contract, a regulation was refused for flimsy reasons, even as a direct contact to the insurance company Tried to pave the way for regulation.
The organization / process of the move was suddenly chaotic and highly inefficient after the first professional impression up to the conclusion of the contract - with small children we had to sleep and live in makeshift arrangements between moving goods and cardboard boxes for several days. The cleaning team was good but poorly coordinated in terms of time (wanted to clean before everything - with a delay - was cleared.)
In retrospect, it happened by chance that the same people work for several moving companies and that they (with the appropriate logos and clothing) were also active for us. Among the initial offers were two obviously identical companies with different names (MCL / Move & Clean and UBL or UBR), which had obviously agreed on their offers in order to receive the order one way or another. After our timely and formal complaints and demands to regulate the damage, we were operated (unjustified) (probably out of revenge). On the advice of a lawyer and out of a certain compassion for the always friendly (but obviously overburdened and undermined) people, we did not take any further legal action and we did not report the company to the police. I would certainly change my mind today, knowing all the other reviews and victims. Obviously, the same group of people is active over and over again under different company names using the same methods.
