AMS Removals

I have used AMS removals two times now. Both times they were brilliant! Alan's team is extremely professional, helpful and friendly, so we were done with moving in less than an hour! Everything came in great condition, no things damaged(and we were moving quite few musical instruments too) or plates with chapped ends, as the guys checked and secured every box. Therefore, I would strongly recommend using AMS services, as they are simply amazing and make moving out so much less stressful!

Alan and his team were exceptionally helpful, professional and did a superb job.
We used AMS twice in quick succession as we were moving to a temporary address first. On the first move they packed all our belongings, and helped label them with things we would need out temporarily versus things we weren't going to unpack. They also emptied a difficult to access loft. The whole house was packed and emptied by 2pm and on delivery they were happy to put the boxes in all the right rooms.
Second time was a little easier as they only had to pack a small amount, but this time they were packed, and fully loaded withing 3 hours of arriving. Again delivery was perfect, and in addition they helped with the building of a new bed without warning.
Overall the team are extremely professional. Clean, tidy, and they pack everything (if you chose this option) very carefully and extremely well packaged - no breakages at all.
Would definitely recommend.

My family and I used this company to pick up all our belongings and furniture and then store them before moving a month later, throughout the storage the communication was fantastic as the house proceeding dragged into two months. All in all I can say it is an amazing, stress free, professional, friendly service. Would definitely recommend this company, they reduced the stress levels of moving house massively in a fast efficient way while still taking extreme care of my furniture. If I ever need to move again I will definitely use them again.

WE needed to find a removal firm at short notice when our removal date was able to be brought forward by 10 days so we were very fortunate that AMS removals were recommended to us. From the first phone call Alan was very positive about being able to meet our needs which included moving several musical instruments and the accompanying paraphernalia. I could not have asked for a better service. Alan and his team were friendly, helpful, polite and very thorough both before and during the move.
It was not possible to get the vans very close to the door of my old property, but this did not present a problem for AMS. We explored various options and came up with a solution which involved carrying my things a fair distance, which the team did without complaint.
Given how stressful moving house can be, it was great not to have to worry about things and I would very strongly recommend AMS to anyone.

Found AMS Removals details through arecommendation.Contacted at late notice to assist with a flat removal and received a quick reply. By far the most courteous and professional people I dealt with through my entire move. Great care taken with all belongings. Very flexible in trying circumstances due to solicitors not confirming the sale until very late in the day. Would not hesitate to recommend AMS Removals or use them again in the future myself. We used AMS in May 2015 and were very pleased with the service- definitely the right choice for us. We had a number of quotes and AMS were competitive although not the very cheapest. However they were the company I felt most comfortable with from the start due to their thorough inspection of the property when quoting for the job- I was confident there would not be any unexpected 'surprises' or hidden extras and I was right. Good comms beforehand, arrived on time, were polite and friendly, did an excellent job and made moving day stress free. Did a great job disassembling and reassembling furniture.

We booked AMS removals for a small removal job after a recommendation.  We communicated with them via email and their responses were prompt and helpful. Two men arrived as planned to carry out the work.  They bought everything they needed and were polite and helpful.  We had items moving to several destinations but this was no problem and was dealt with well.  Overall, the work was carried out without interruption, efficiently and effectively.   We have another similar job coming up in future and I would not hesitate to use AMS again.

This is the second time I have hired AMS Removals, this move being a longer distance move. I can't recommend Alan and his team highly enough. I had had a complete nightmare with the solicitors, and was in the position that I could have arrived in Newcastle without the house purchase completing. I explained the situation to Alan when he arrived to begin the move, and he said he would be able to arrange storage should the worst case scenario happen, and also explained another option which could be looked into. Thankfully, despite a 2hr wait outside the new property, completion did take place and we were able to complete the move.

I have moved house 9 times now, and I can honestly say that this is the best removals company I have ever used. I would encourage anyone to book Alan and his team if your move is within his operational area, Whilst moving house is a stressful business, the actual physical process of moving on the 2 occasions I have used AMS have been stress free - Fantastic Job, and thank you!

We used AMS twice, first time moving houses within Manchester from a first floor flat to a house. The second time was the big move from a house in Manchester to a first floor flat in Aylesbury. They were on time, very quick and professional at their job no hassle at all.
We have used other removal companies in the past and I must say AMS is by far the best removal company. Will definitely use them again and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

AMS Removals are just brilliant. We used them first for moving a piece of equipment from our home to our office and then the second time (as we were so impressed with their work on the first project) to move home. We moved from Manchester to Cheshire and the day was completely stress free. The team are just a delight to have around on move day. Really helpful, friendly, nothing is too much. Even before move day they can help with packing, provide the correct boxes and packing for all your belongings. Not a single item was damaged or lost throughout the whole move. I can't recommend them enough. We'll definitely be using them again when the need arises. Book them as soon as you can, you don't want to miss out!

Simply outstanding, don't go anywhere else..

Polite, considerate, professional and will go the extra mile.. Alan and his team were amazing and made what is normally a stressful situation much better. Gave great advice at every step of the way and treated all my furniture with the greatest of respect. They simply weren't moving until the job was done, not matter how long it took.

I will be using them again and I would happily recommend them.

Recently completed a move with AMS, they could not have been better. Easy to book & talked me through everything before hand. Arrived on time and both men worked really hard to move everything quickly and efficiently, with great care taken of all furniture & other items. As a woman on my own I was a bit warey in choosing a firm from the Internet, and I'm so pleased I chose AMS. This is THE removals company..no need to look further. A very complicated removal job that needed to happen at very short notice over New Year..the details of which, I won't bore you with. Alan wasn't phased, a complete professional who met every challenge presented comprehensively, down to the smallest detail..we could not believe our luck. The very large and heavy mirror, 3x2m with a thick iron frame, had to be maneuverer down 8 flights of stairs, from a warehouse apartment in Manchester and delivered to a basement in a house in North London. Glen, who directed operations in London, was also magnificent (and I don't us such language lightly), guided everyone in their aim to get the mirror down a steep bank and through a window and placed intact in our basement..Pure Magic and a real pleasure to have done business with. We like their style.

AMS removals were recommended to us by a friend and they didn't disappoint.

Alan and his team moved the entire contents of our house from Manchester to coastal mid Wales and couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone involved in our move was helpful and cheerful and were really keen to move everything into place just where we wanted it. In fact, part way through our move in, we decided to switch the room that would be our main bedroom and we told Alan not to worry and that we would move things from one room to another. Alan and his team weren't having any of that and moved everything into the right room for us, saying that they really wanted to get everything right for us. Other companies would probably have grumbled at the idea of moving things once they were in the house so it was a really positive surprise to be asked and offered.

From start to finish AMS Removals staff were upbeat, pleasant and polite. They really got stuck in and got us packed up and moved in at a much faster speed than I expected. Everything was wrapped and transported securely and Alan clearly prides himself on doing the best job possible.

All in all AMS provided us with a positive and excellent moving experience at a fantastic price (over a Saturday and Sunday) and I can't recommend them enough.

I chose AMS Removals, for relocating me back to Manchester due to the fact that I had used them in the past when moving to Glasgow over 4 years ago.
I called Alan on the off chance to see if he was available at short notice as well. Alan was only to happy to help and he also helped organise things for me.
Not only did he remember where I lived and dropped off my belongings when he moved me up, he arranged it all for me as well.
I required storage for my belongings for 2 months until I moved into my own flat back in Manchester. Alan arranged all this for me too.
He made a stressful job feel like a breeze and took over it all for me. I had no stress or worry and he was professional and on time with all information and pick up and delivery of all items.
To top this off he at AMS Removals are fantastically priced. Very competitive. Considering, what my move entailed this time, it was an absolute bargain.

AMS Removals made our long-distance move as easy as it could have been. From the first time we contacted him, Alan was very helpful and professional. He didn't try to sell us his service, and he didn't have to. He spent lots of time answering our questions and checking measurements in order to provide a quote with a fair price and the right vehicle - all this before we had made the booking. Alan is a family man and was considerate and flexible with our situation: our move was short-notice, and when we booked we were unsure of the dates and where our new flat would be. He kept in touch with us and was patient in gathering the information he needed. Alan and Andy arrived early in Southampton and were quick to load the van from a two-bedroom, second-floor flat with a tight stairway. They took good care of our things - there was no damage whatsoever, even to the more fragile items, and everything was kept clean. They also arrived early at our first-floor flat in Glasgow and were kind enough to rebuild some of our furniture (including a double bed and a baby bed) without being asked, and at no extra charge. This made it much easier for us and our baby to settle into our new home. We would recommend AMS Removals and would use them again without hesitation. Our move could have been a stressful experience, but Alan put us at ease from the beginning.
