AMS Removals

I'll start by saying that I can unreservedly recommend AMS. I chose them for a move from a two bed flat to a three bed house on the basis of their good reviews and their thoughtful and good value quote. I am very happy with my choice. Communication was excellent throughout; for example, when running a little late because of an earlier job going a little over time (not a problem - it happens), I very much appreciated Alan's diligence in keeping me up to date on revised arrival times. The move itself was remarkably smooth and went entirely without a hitch; this was aided in no small part by Alan and co's meticulous and considered approach. Would definitely use them again.

I contacted AMS to get a removal quote for full packing service for a 2 bedroom apartment from Manchester to Ross-on-Wye and they were prompt in replying. Their quote was not the cheapest but not the dearest either and there were no hidden extra's. The full packing service was professional and there were no broken items. On the day of removal they were on time and kept in contact with me at all times. In this day and age a good professional service is rare so I am pleased to say I was pleasantly surprised by AMS and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Alan and his team were excellent throughout , from the initial contact through to completion. I found them to be honest, reliable and considerate. The removal, just before Christmas went without hitch. They contacted me prior to getting there, ensured I had everything I needed and during the removal itself were professional in every respect. Helping me to dismantle a bed, sofa and other furniture items and then reassembling them at the other end. The van used was more than adequate. They brought their own packing materials, and even though I had antiques amongst my possessions, I felt confident that they would be delivered unscathed. Which all the items were. Items were clearly stowed and secured well. Alan and his team were prompt and efficient throughout. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

Very pleased recent our recent experience of AMS. Chose them online after reading positive reviews and though it is a small company, we were treated with total professionalism, as well as care and friendliness throughout. We opted for the packing service so we walked out of our old front door at 9am after a brief walk round the property giving instructions of what was to go where (labels helped) and left them to it. We then Spent the morning cleaning the new property before Alan and the gang arrived at lunchtime with our stuff and unloaded it all. Alan's 'crew' were as professional and courteous as he was (not always the case I have found in this trade). The whole move including packing up all our stuff took 10 hours although we were only moving a few streets away, And was very good value. We only contacted Alan a week before the move date and he was able to fit us in - offering to move us on a Sunday which many larger companies do not. When our moving date changed a week due to the deal slipping, Alan rearranged things with minimum fuss. He even replied to my emails at 10pm! A great example of why it is good to support local businesses.

We cannot recommend AMS enough! Alan and his team tick all the boxes of the perfect removal business. Extremely professional, friendly, polite and people who actually care about your possessions like they were theirs. Especially important since we asked for packing and moving services. Professional from begining to end they go the extra mile to ensure you are a satisfied customer. Alan even offered a revision of the cost in our favour as we had packed some of our stuff already. Simply put, we cannot recommend AMS enough! Thanks again for making our move an easy, stress free and happy fresh start :-).

Very polite, professional and helpful team. Most impressed with their service from the original visit for assesment of our property contents for removal job all the way through to delivery of home contents in Portsmouth. Very competitive quote; worked carried out exactly when it suited ourselves and fantastic commuication via email to book and pay for this company to undertake our job of moving house contents. No complaints about Alan and his team whatsoever; myself and my husband can only highly recommend them!

We used AMS Removals for a move within Greaterr Manchester. The service was brilliant - very professional, friendly and quick. AMS arrived exactly when advised and even dealt with the unfortunate parking situation. The old house was cleared very quickly and everything moved to where we wanted it in the new house. In addition, they were happy to move extra items that were not on the list initially submitted. AMS really 'go the extra mile', so we highly recommend their services.

We've moved house with AMS twice now and would highly recommend them.  From the moment Alan came to 'reccy' the move, to when we waved them off from our new house, we knew exactly what the plan was and were kept fully up to speed with any changes to that plan.  When the van developed a flat tyre on our moving day, they dealt so brilliantly with it that we didn't notice it had happened.  Best of all, AMS treated our possessions as if they were their own.  They packed our kitchen for us beautifully and left it all stacked neatly in our new house, enabling us to easily unpack it the very next day.House moving can be stressful but with AMS it was a pleasure.  They're on time, they're professional, they're really friendly and they're excellent value for money.

I had an office move to co-ordinate which involved multiple pick ups from different locations across the North West and Midlands.  It all needed to be done on the same day and to specific timings given.  I was slightly nervous given the amount of work involved but thank god I found AMS Removals. Alan Sanderson put me at ease stright away.  His communication both pre and post delivery was superb - I had total confidence in what he was saying and knowing what was going on.  After quite a lengthy search on the internet for a company local to where our business is, I also found them to be the most competitive. The two chaps that turned up to do the move on the day were really great. So helpful, cheerful and nothing was too much bother (a rareity these days!!) - even when they were presented with a couple of hiccups on the day, I.e. more furniture than they were expecting to collect!!  They worked non-stop all day .. Take it from me .. I'm fussy so I don't say this lightly but I really cannot recommend AMS Removals highly enough. .

Cannot thank AMS enough for making our move from Manchester to Cheltenham completely stress free. Alan came over in advance to check all our belongings would fit in one load and also to make sure the storage I had arranged at my destination was sufficient which was incredibly helpful. On the day AMS turned up promptly, everything was loaded into the van efficiently and handled with care.  Once we reached Cheltenham AMS then packed the majority of our belongings in storage, the time and skill taken to ensure all our items fit into our storage unit was amazing. This will continue to save us money as without AMS we would of undoubtedly required a bigger storage unit. They also were very helpful at keeping specific items separate which they delivered to another location.  We were unsure whether to do our own removal but we are so pleased we decided to go with AMS as we really could not of done the move as efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. .

The AMS team were professional, friendly and helpful. The move involved several locations and they were equally committed to the care of the service in all locations which involved some awkward city centre lifts and tight spaces. The items were all transported very carefully and without any damage. The team even did an additional drop for me to a Charity outlet to donate unwanted items. I would definitely use their services again should the need arise. The Company is exceptional.

I can't speak highly enough of Alan and the AMS team. They were recommended to me by a colleague who had recently moved house. From start to finish, the communication, organisation and loading/unloading were first class. I was moving from Manchester to London. The two-man team arrived the day before the move to load the van and set off at 5am the next day to beat the rush-hour. They arrived promptly the next morning in London. All my stuff arrived in perfect condition - breakables had been well wrapped and secured in the van. What could have been a stressful experience moving my life from one city to another wasn't at all and that was down to the efficient, professional job AMS did. On top of that they were very friendly and genuine to deal with, which always helps too! I'd highly recommend them.  .

I used AMS to move house from Manchester to Brighton. I was really pleased with the service received from Alan. I had never used a removals service before but he answered my many questions promptly by email running up to my move and reassured me. On the day of the move Alan and his colleague moved all of my boxes with care and packed the van up really quickly. There was no furniture moved but there was a bike and a TV and these were secured in the van so they didn't move around and also covered in extra blankets to protect them from damage. this was a very positive experience and I would definitely use AMS again and recommend them to my friends and family. .

Moved house within Sale, Cheshire. Booked AMS removals at short notice but they managed to fit me in. The lads were on time, friendly and careful with my stuff. I had about 60 boxes and a 3 bed semis worth of furniture to move. The guys had 2 vans which seemed to fit my stuff easily. They emptied my house in about 2 hours and delivered it to my new house promptly. Would use them again. The vans were clean so I wasn't worried my stuff would get dirty. We communicated via text and mobile which was great. My sister will be using them after seeing how efficient they were.

We would definitely recommend AMS.  They were professional, courteous and considerate.  They provided a packing service and were veryrespectful of our belongings.They took most of the stress out of the moving day. They didn't rush and even ensured that furniture was in the correct place in the new house.  As other people have said - bigger items of furniture were dismantled ( where appropriate) and rebuilt in the new house .  A wardrobe now has properly closing doors after years of being off it's hinges! The price was very reasonable.  Thanks Alan and his team.
