Winkle Transport and Removals

Dealing with Winkle was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. My brother had used them a few months ago, and had a great experience, so recommended them to us.

They moved us from London to Paris, and process was painless - they arrived early on Friday, packed everything up carefully, and organised everything well. They following day they arrived in Paris and swiftly moved everything into our new apartment (on the 5th floor!), rebuilt all of the furniture and remained upbeat throughout!

Brian and his team are excellent!! I was so surprised by the very high level of service, and the efficiency of the team. My new property was up several flights of stairs with no lift - and the team completed everything in such good spirits without breaking a single item (which had been very carefully wrapped up as part of the packing) - they even finished early. I asked them to come back to help get a new Super King sized bed up a narrow glass spiral staircase - there's no one else I would have trusted with that task. HIGHLY recommended!

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from Brian and his team, at Winkle Removals. 
The team were extremely efficient and professional and took great care when moving our belongings. 
We opted to use recycled Winkle boxes for our move, which was great. Winkle also collect the boxes, once you’ve unpacked and settled in, so they can be used again.
Moving house is stressful but it was made much easier knowing we had such a reliable team moving our belongings to our new home. We would highly recommend Winkle Removals.

Brian and his team were extremely helpful and accommodating in my move. Brian came 2 weeks before the move to assess the stuff that needed to be moved and we talked through potential problems. He came and dropped off boxes (mostly recycled) and packing materials so everything was ready for the actual move days. They were efficient, kind and helpful throughout the ordeal and really went with the flow. Their time estimates were also spot on and really took the stress out of the move. Even though their quote was more expensive than other moving companies, I felt that the quality of service was very high and I was glad I decided to go with them.

Brian and his guys were a pleasure to work with. They made what could have been a very stressful move (my wife was 37 weeks pregnant) into smooth sailing.

They packed everything for us, disassembled my extremely large bed and manoeuvred the super-king size memory foam mattress down three flights of stairs.

Then on the other end they placed everything where it was supposed to go and gave us as much time as we needed to return the boxes.

I will definitely use them again.

They were available on very short notice. They did a super job, and put my mind at ease. I would never made it without them. Everything was neatly packed and secured. They made sure everything was in order. Amazing!

I have moved many times, within the country and between countries. This was the easiest ever! I'll definitely used them next time.

Although a very small removal with only the basic service required, the team gave it the same importance as a much larger relocation. They managed to fit my furniture and thirty medium/large boxes in their smallest van - I requested it as it had to turn a sharp corner and get to the bottom of a pathway which was so narrow the driver's external mirror had to be turned in. I really didn't think Jon, who dealt with the removal, was going to make it. 10 out of 10 for determination. Without it, we would have had to carry all items from the beginning of the pathway to the new property which would have taken a very long time. Jon and his assistant were efficient, friendly and didn't waste time. I was impressed.

Brian and the team gave me the best service possible. Starting from the quote and up to the boxes pickup (after unpacking). Moving house is usually so stressful, but the team made me feel so relaxed and that I’m in the best hands! Me and my husband actually went for a coffee while the team was packing the whole house! We used the storage service as well and then the team came back 2 days after to deliver all of our stuff. The packing itself was very tidy and made a lot of sense with the right labels on the boxes.

** one of the team members was able to find a very special piece of jewellery that I gave up the hope of ever finding it again..
I burst into tears not only due to the fact that the jewellery was found, but to the fact that he was so honest and waited for me to come and see. I don’t know how many people would return something valuable that they found.. but he did!
