My experience with Universal Relocation has been very good from start to end (TN, USA to TN, India). Starting with Venkatesh, who was very helpful with the initial quote to suggestions for type of boxes to be used to the coordination of shipping boxes to US warehouse. From there on Mothish took over with weekly updates on the status of shipment until it cleared customs in India. Shymala was helpful with the custom payments. Then, the move coordinator Huzaina was prompt and detailed with the delivery of the shipment. The delivery personal were also super helpful. Overall very happy with the service provided.

I am not surprised to see the page full of BAD reviews from various customers all over the world for Universal Relocations. I moved my stuff recently and Universal Relocations were a total nightmare. Many of my items are missing many damaged. I tried giving a detailed feedback to Sangeeta CEO but she didn't bother to reply. They are extremely money minded. Ranjani and Anup overcharged me during customs clearance but when I confronted they reduced the amount. Right from Day 1 they were extremely unprofessional. Ranjani,Anup and Huzaina each one of them was rude,unprofessional and incompetent and completely ambigous about the whole process. They extremely delayed my shipment. There was no communication after my repeated followups. Huzaina delivered my shipment at a wrong address. They just delivered my goods that too in a damaged condition. Many of them are still missing. They didn't unpack or assemble my stuff. Beware of Universal Relocations Hire them at your own RISK!!.

This past week I moved a packed one bedroom apartment in New Jersey. The crew was on time and polite throughout the entire move. They thoroughly hand wrapped all of my belongings in quality material (kitchen wear + misc. items + furniture) and packed them tightly so they didnt shift in the boxes during the move. They boxed around the furniture and then wrapped it with padded blankets and made sure to handle with care at the pickup and delivery! The crew completed the move after a 12 hour day with a small break during the transport to my new apartment. There were no surprise charges and no damage to my belongings. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to experience a high end move where your mind can rest without stress on a crazy moving day!

I opted for Universal Relocation to move my TV, Home Theater and household items as many of my friends used their services in past and they had no complaints.

I am very happy with services of Universal, my shipment was delivered in timely manner without any damage. I was initially concerned as my home theater was brand new and expensive but everything was delivered without any damage.

There was slight delay in delivery after customs clearance but Huzaina helped a lot during the tome and updated status in timely manner.

I would still appreciate if US team could assist better in determining approx. custom duty amount while confirming the booking.

My family recently relocated from USA to India. We found Universal Relocations on google and selected them after going through their reviews. Thanks to the team, the entire move was seamless. Every agent we came across was very courteous and helped us with accurate information. The door to door time for delivering our goods was two months. We had clothes, kitchen items including expensive crockery, show pieces, toys, photo frames, bike, a few ottomans and some miscellaneous stuff. On the day of the move, the agents packed items meticulously based on their fragility, boxed them, labelled them and gave us an itemized list of the same. Hats off to their patience in packing them. We were sent timely emails on the status of our cargo. After the cargo reached Chennai port, we were contacted by agents who finished customs formalities on our behalf without any issues. The delivery of our boxes was done very well in under an hour and a half. Overall, the team was highly professional, courteous and trustworthy. I will definitely recommend them for moving services.
