Moving abroad is not for the faint-hearted. Thankfully, we had terrific help from Christian at TMS who was so helpful and arranged everything so it went (almost) perfectly smoothly. His communication was great and from the beginning seemed genuinely interested in our move and in meeting our needs. From that point I didn't think about working with anyone else. They employed a superb set of people who were so hard-working, communicative and genuinely nice people that it was a joy having them in the house to do the move. If I could have given 4.9 instead of 4 or 5 I would have done, if only because communication from the removal company about how long the packing and loading was going to take was lacking and it then caused inconvenience and also because two battens for a wardrobe were lost during the move. In the grand scheme of things, they are only details and we would definitely use TMS again.

The move was excellent and I'd definitely reccommend TMS. Stuart always cordially in touch and helpful with all forms of requests and last minute anxieties. I could have given more than 4 (like 4.8) but it wasn't possible, the actual evaulation comes from the little lack of communication on the delivery moment: the transport was suppsoed to arrive on a Friday and arrived actually on saturday at noon instead, which casued little stress and issues at work.

Nevertheless in both homes, packers, movers and drivers where astonishingly nice and careful: nothing got brokend and all the plants I had (my main preoccupation) survived decently to a almost 10 days journey.

The insurance suggestion for paintings and framed photographs was an excellent one - Thanks Stuart - affordable and reassuring

As I wrote, the only suggestion would be to make a contact phone number available over weekends or oustide working hours, in particular when delivering.

No doubts that I'll get back to TMS in case of further moves

I highly recommend Total Moving Solutions. We moved from London to Madrid recently and Stuart and the team made the process so easy and stress free. Not only did they give me a great quote but they were also so friendly and professional. Stuart responded to all my questions (no matter how trivial!) so promptly. On the day the movers were friendly and efficient and we were kept updated the whole way regarding arrival in Madrid. Everything arrived on the expected date and not a single item was broken or damaged. We also received a refund as we used less space in the truck. We have used Total Moving Solution twice within the past 6 months, with one international move between UK and Sweden and one move within London. Both times everything ran smoothly thanks to Stuart Hall. Especially the move within London was a bit complicated due to the location but Stuart was very helpful and attentive and made us feel secure during this hectic period. Stuart is very professional and easy to get in touch with and kept us updated during the process and made everything seem easy. We could not be happier with his service and I can recommend Stuart Hall and Total Moving Solution to anyone who is planning a move.
