Sterling Sinclair Removals

I recently used SSR (Stirling Sinclair removals -based in Stirling) and have never experienced such poor poor customer service . Avoid!! Damaged furniture , due to complete inexperience and trying to cram a 2500 square foot house into 2 Luton vans, despite or request for a large rigid vehicle to be used. Unprofessional, inexperienced and once job done don't want to communicate regarding damage. They simply delete all comments and reviews off their Facebook page. Requested a copy of their insurance policy but still waiting so probably not insured either. Avoid!!

SSR recently moved us to North Berwick and were brilliant. We have moved many times and all of our moves have been good but this one was excellent and surpassed all expectations. Ross and Kevin worked really quickly both in packing our house and loading the van as well as the unloading of the van at the new house. Everything was packed with care and attention to detail - so much so that not one of our items was damaged in the move. I can only agree with other reviews that the team are polite and professional and not only take care of the items that they are moving but seem to care about the people that are moving. Throughout a really stressful several months of this move (which included date and final location changes) Neil was supportive and flexible about the move dates and distance and as a whole, SSR made what should have been the most stressful final couple of days of the move into the least stressful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend SSR to anyone looking to move - however large or small the move.

I was recommended SSR after the previous removal firm I had used to move my furniture and possessions into storage had let me down when it came to moving everything from Yorkshire to Scotland. Neil went out of his way to establish the scope of the work, and then do the removal at a competitive rate. More important than the price though was the way the work was delivered - Ross and the team were unfailingly polite and professional, and took for more care over the delivery to Edinburgh than had been taken by the previous firm in moving everything into storage. They also moved the contents of my rental flat into my permanent home. I would recommend them to anyone needing a removal firm - they take real pride in the service they deliver and deserve the positive reviews.

Absolutely fantastic job from Sterling Sinclair Removals. A team were due to arrive and start work at 8.45. A team of three were there for 8.15, organised and very efficient. The whole job was packed and loaded by 11.00. Zero fuss, everything was carefully handled and any request was no trouble at all. Unloading at our new house was slightly delayed but they were happy to wait and the unloading took under an hour. Everything arrived in perfect condition and all placed where we wanted it. Nice to deal with approachable upbeat employees who have a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Very impressed and would highly recommend. Made a potentially stressful day genuinely a breeze.

I had packed everything and they took my things in storage for about 5 months. I don't know why Neil never called me to ask for the money I should be paying every month for storage. I paid all together in the end but it gave me the impression these guys care for more things than money.

When I finally had a flat to move in, even though in the 3rd floor without lift, Ross and his team made it look as the easiest thing in the word. I was worried that something would be missing. But everything was there. Very organized and tidy did a difficult job in a perfect way. I would definitely recommend Stirling Removals to anyone that wants to move.

Housemoving can be stressful at the best of times, these guys made it look so easy. Quick efficient & a decent bit of banter.

Connor, who plays 7 for Stirling County semi- pro team even managed to take couple minutes out of his busy schedule to pass the rugby ball with our sons.

Pleasant lads - but seemed inexperienced in packing some valuable items.Wrapped sticky glue tape around Canon printer. So hard to remove. Assessor forgot to mention piano removal - not really prepared for that. Driver not informed of itinerary. Poor admin. Many items broken. Acknowledged and offered correction but not for everything. Sub-contracted removal company to unpack into storage - chaotic and more damage to furniture witnessed by unit manager! Piano not built up correctly at delivery end. Dropped off goods not meant for a destination . Pretty shambolic experience - pity .... ongoing fight for fair compensation.

We had 2 lads visit us the day before the move to do all the packing and they were very professional, such patience. I certainly couldn't do their jobs. On the day of the move, it was so hot and the three lads never faltered and were very professional. There was a delay in us getting the keys to our new property but the lads waited and worked until 8.30pm and that was them from 8am. I would definetely recommend them to anyone thinking about packing the house up themselves. Get these lovely chaps to do it for you and save yourself the hassle.
