Sean and his team arrived at arranged time and after introducing themselves, got straight to work. As well as my furniture, I had loads of bags with books etc as I was downsizing from a second floor 2 bed flat to a ground floor 1 bed. There was a 10 day period where I needed my stuff in storage then delivered to my new address. The team were very polite, helpful and even arranged my heavy furniture in the living room and bedroom, nothing was too much trouble. I was kept updated at all stages of my move. I had few glitches with my internet provider / service so only just able to put up review.

I would highly recommend this company.

We recently moved from a flat to a house and used DS Removals. Sean was very pleasant to deal with and their pricing was transparent and reasonable. I was very happy with their service on our moving day - they arrived at 8am and were very efficient in loading up the removal van. We had a number of fragile items, including mirrors, TVs and light fittings and great care was taken when transporting these. Having DS Removals on board really reduced the stress of our moving day - I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

I can't fault DS Carriers in the slightest, they were quick & effective. I was quite stressed the morning of the move, but not only did the guys calm me with being so great with everything, what a laugh we had! They were chirpy and happy, nothing was a problem. All my items made it to the new place in exactly the condition they left and I barely lifted a finger. I'd recommend to anyone - especially if it's a last minute booking, they're so on the ball with every aspect!

My wife and I can’t thank these guys enough for their effort in moving the contents of our large 5 bed home recently. They arrived on time all smart in uniform and instantly put our worried minds at ease within 5 mins as they were very professional and knew what they were doing. Nothing damaged due to the care and attention they spent wrapping our furniture and delicate items.
Another reason we chose DS Carriers being they don’t charge any waiting time whilst we waited on the keys for our new property, between that and the materials they used we were very happy with the service.

From my first email, Sean was professional, quick and answered long after standard office hours. I went from viewing the property, to moving in in less than a week, and they were able to cater for my move.

On the day, the guys (3) turned up 45 minutes early and immediately got to work. I was moving many valuable instruments, computer equipment and belongings, and they handled each with care.

I worried that one or two things were missing the day after (nothing was missing, I just had a lot of stuff), and Sean came back to me immediately letting me know where the items were in my property. Top notch service.

They took most of the stress out of the day and I can't offer high enough praise. I'll be using them again in future for any moves.

DS Carriers moved us a few weeks ago and everything went entirely as planned.

Within a day of initially contacting DS Sean had come to talk through the process, what’s included and what to expect. I received a quotation a few hours later.

The entire team were great; polite, hardworking and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and I had a lot of heavy and awkward items to move!!

Even though we ended up not getting into the new property until hours after expected the team worked hard to make up for lost time.

Sean and his team at DS Carriers helped me move home last week and they helped make the whole day stress free. From my first enquiry about a quote Sean came out to my property that day and provided me with a quote only a few hours later.
On the day they loaded up all my belongings so quickly and met me at my property later on in the day with no problems. They even covered my couches in protective covers and all of my cushions. My mattress was also put into a protective cover. They were also so patient waiting for me to get the keys which was delayed on the day!
They unloaded all of my furniture and delicate items and carried them to exactly where I wanted. They were so efficient and just helped make what is already a stressful day so easy. It gave me one less thing to worry about having the DS Carriers team on board.
I couldn't recommend Sean and his team enough and will definitely be using them again and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

These guys were fantastic from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble. They were punctual, efficient and professional and I personally feel that they went above and beyond to help me on the day. They made the move totally stress free for me and for this I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They dismantled and reassembled my furniture and made sure everything was in the right place before they left. Fantastic service from initial call right through to home move. Quote was provided really quickly and all queries were answered promptly. Our date of entry was moved three times and the company were really understanding and accommodating.
The service for the actual move was fantastic. They were really friendly and professional. Furniture was dismantled or wrapped for protection and everything was handled with care. I would not hesitate in recommending this company for a house move.

I absolutely can't speak highly enough about this company. From the initial call and home visit all the way through to removals and storage they were very easy to work with. Communication was great and on the removal days the guys were very experienced, professional, helpful and chatty (that's for you Donald!) and I couldn't have asked for more. They had loads of stairs to climb at either end of the journey and didn't complain once :-). I know its a professional relationship but it felt very personal and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Brilliant service all round.

We called DS Carriers the day before our move as it didn’t look as if our sale was going to complete the next day. Sean advised that he would re-arrang the removal from early morning and asked us to contact him when we had confirmation from solicitors. When we got word at 12:30 that it was going ahead Sean & Chris arrived at 14:00 and loaded the truck in 45 minutes. They waited patiently at our new property until we received the keys at 16:00. They unloaded truck in record time and with a minimum of fuss. We have moved several times in our lives but these guys are the BEST by far. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they did this with a smile. Would recommend DS Carriers to anyone as these guys are the best. Jo & Billy Mullin.

Peter and I would like to say a massive thank you to DS Carriers for all their help today, the movers were helpful upbeat and professional from the moment they arrived, which was bang on time at 9am. They brought covers for my furniture and matts, even when I said certain things were old and not to bother wrapping them they still insisted they wanted to wrap everything for me.
Once the house was empty they were extremely patient while I continuously chased for keys to my new home, four hours later we finally collected the keys of the new house and the unloading started, another thing about this company is they DONT charge waiting time which was ideal. They boys were quick at unloading and put everything where I asked. A fantastic service from everyone involved ! From the first point of contact until the end everyone was professional and great at their job.

My husband and I first used the services of DS Carriers in 2015 when we made the move from Cumbernauld to Largs. They had been recommended to us by a friend and they were Superb. Very professional with a friendly attitude and nothing was a problem. They dismantled our adjustable king size bed and also our huge dining room table. They assembled everything on arrival at Largs with no hesitation at all.the cost for the removal was extremely competitive and their professional approach to everything they were asked yo do was fantastic, so when it came to moving my mother in law it was a no brainer it had to be them.
So it is with huge thanks to DS Carriers for moving my 92 mother in law from her flat at Anniedland cross to Knightswood. As usual the service was 5 star and nothing is a bother to Sean Chris and wee Danny they disconnected her washing machine which we were not able to do and also dismantled the bed.
When we arrived at her new home they assembled the bed and were very courteous and so friendly
The boys turned up spot on time and all were dressed in DS Carriers uniforms and very smart. Again their competitive price and friendly approach was five star

Can't thank these guys enough, this company is also contracted to deliver furniture for Harvey's Furniture as well as doing house moves and they did a fab job of delivering my new suite and table and chairs.
They called 30 mins before they arrived which was ideal as I had to leave work to let them in, on arriving they took the time to introduce themselves and cover my new carpets with blankets while also wearing foot covers (great as it was pouring down and I was worried about my carpets as they are not long down) they then carefully brought my furniture in and unwrapped everthing and set it up, assembled my suite and table and chairs also taking all the packaging away. The men were great at their job and took the time to chat to me throughout the delivery making sure I was happy with everything (even though I asked them to re-position my sofas several times as they were far too heavy for me to move)
I didn't catch their names but they were a credit to your company. I will be keeping a note of their number to call them when moving!!

We had DS move our household items and furniture from a two-bedroom flat to a storage area. Then 3 weeks later from storage to a new flat. All on the southside. The first move they did was last minute as the removal firm we had hired were unable to do the job because an emergency with the owner. DS stepped in and did the move and really saved us because we had to turn over the flat to the buyer.
The second move was a big one because we had a lot of stuff in storage. The guys worked like champs. They movef several large, heavy pieces of furniture - chests of drawers, sofa bed, king size bed- with ease. They wrapped all the furniture for safety. They also took care to move fragile items, including china and framed picutres.
Great guys, professional, friendly, and went straight to work. Highly recommended.
