On the plus side, I found Thomas friendly and professional. The men turned up punctually and worked hard for a very long day. The vast majority of our stuff arrived safely at the new address.

Less positively, they really needed one more man. Thomas said there'd be 3-4 men, and of course that meant 3. I'd carefully listed all our stuff and how many boxes we'd need. In fact, I estimated 155 boxes and only 140 were needed. So they should know how many men they need to get the job done in a reasonable time. As it was, they finished very late, which wasn't good for us or for them. Towards the end of the day the men were obviously tired, which made them more careless. Boxes which had been marked "Very fragile, top only" were stacked under other boxes.

My clothes weren't properly hung but shoved in boxes. I'd told them they'd need plenty of hanging boxes: either they didn't bring enough or they couldn't be bothered to use them. My hat has been crushed and several small items of crockery have been broken. Some items (including our cutlery) were left behind. Some items appear to have been put into whichever box they could fit into, e.g. boxes marked "books" contain other things as well. As a result it wasn't easy to find things we needed as we were unpacking, e.g. my razor.

Overall our moving day went so smoothly and a huge part of this was the moving company. The two guys on the day just got on with it and were so quick without seeming like they were rushing. At the new house they'd unloaded everything in the requested rooms, reassembled all our furniture and left by 1.30pm. We had wrapped everything ourselves but nothing was broken during the move. Jason was happy to change our date about four times and never suggested we were causing him any inconvenience. He also called a few days before to reconfirm all the details for the day itself. Highly recommended!

I 1st saw the team when they were doing their job at my next door neighbour. Got their contact number from one of the worker.
Jason was so friendly and helpful on the phone and came to our house to get the exact quotation. I had other quotations from other companies but Removals Centre was the far the most reasonable.
On the moving date, the 2 guys were brilliant. They packed and moved our belongings professionally. Not a scratch. They finished the job greatly.
End of the day I had to thank Jason and the 2 guys personally for making our move so smoothly.
Definitely will use them
again and really hope others will use their service too.

He called the next day to confirm everything and to see if I had any queries or questions, which I really appreciated. On the day, he called from the pick up point and on arrival simply asked to be told which room to put what in - which he and Valdez did with friendliness as well as *incredible* speed and efficiency.
