If I could give no stars I would. We had the worst experience with these charlatans right from the packing day to my stuff arriving damaged and almost 5 months later. Rude and aggressive staff. Use third party packing teams who (told us) are paid quite poorly- so no care and attention to your goods. Put a couch through our wall, destroyed our day bed, broke and then packed broken glass. Ran out of packing goods on the day - meant we had to run out and buy ourselves. Original quote quadrupled after they had our goods. It was just a horrendous experience from start to finish where we felt powerless and our goods were held to ransom. Precious and sentimental things ruined or smashed due to incompetence that happened before the goods even go on the container. Avoid at all costs

I used this company over a year ago and am still waiting for my claim to process. The setup is that the marine transit insurance is based in Hong Kong and they do belong to any organisation that you can work through in the UK that supports the client. So I have now had to resort to using a firm of lawyers in Hong Kong as the Claim processor just ignores anyone from another country as they have no power to enforce the rip off practice they use. They offered 4kGBP on a claim of approx. 28kGBP..because they think we have no option but to accept. What a rip off setup this company uses. Plus they promise EXPORT packing and deliver rubbish packing. They also do not supply you with the appropriate terms and conditions. I was warned by other freight companies and should have listened. But I will never give fighting them and will make it my mission to continue to alert people for as long as this company exists.

I highly advise against using this company. My previous experience with them warranted a 5-star review on ReloUK a few years ago, but my recent encounter has been nothing short of a disaster. I entrusted them with the task of shipping two containers, which have yet to be delivered, and their lack of ownership and accountability has been appalling. In fact, I have now involved my solicitors to handle the situation due to their sheer incompetence.

One of my main grievances stems from ReloUK's failure to inquire about permits until after the shipment was loaded onto the vessel. When I raised this concern via email on July 17, 2023, their representative assured me that everything was in order. However, it was on the day of loading that I discovered the need for import permits. We promptly applied for these permits, which were eventually granted, but not without incurring additional expenses and inconveniences due to ReloUK's oversight. It is important to note that the Charity in question does indeed have Charitable status, so it is misleading for them to state otherwise. The issue lies in their failure to request the necessary import permits, which resulted in us having to bear the costs and delays.

Furthermore, ReloUK has also lost one of my personal items from a previous shipment earlier this year. Despite my repeated requests for an update, they have blatantly ignored me. My solicitors have already reached out to them today regarding this matter. Their response, or lack thereof, speaks volumes about their integrity and the way they treat their clients. I have confirmation emails to substantiate my claims, and I will make them available for consumers to form their own opinions on who is at fault.

I kindly request that ReloUK share any email correspondence they may have sent me after July 17, 2023, specifically inquiring about permits. The only time such a request was made was after the container had already been loaded onto the vessel. This lack of foresight and disregard for proper procedures is simply unacceptable.

In conclusion, I strongly caution individuals against entrusting their belongings to this company. Their actions, or lack thereof, speak volumes about their professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. It is evident that they prioritize their own interests over those of their clients. Please think twice before considering ReloUK for any shipping needs.

On a separate note, I must mention that the team responsible for physically loading the goods has always been great. They have shown professionalism and dedication in their work. The issue at hand primarily stems from the leadership and management of ReloUK. It is their lack of oversight, accountability, and failure to address customer concerns that has marred my experience with the company. It is disheartening that such a capable team on the ground is let down by their superiors. This further emphasizes the need for potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with this company.

Exposing the Disappointing Customer Service of ReloUK!

I am writing this post to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with ReloUK and to warn others about their lack of integrity and accountability.

Back in October 2023, I reached out to ReloUK regarding an issue with the shipment of our charity goods to Estcourt, South Africa. To my surprise, the CEO personally contacted me, requesting that I remove my negative Google and Trustpilot reviews in exchange for resolving the matter. He assured me of a swift resolution and personally taking care of the issues at hand.

However, it has been three long months since that conversation, and nothing has been resolved. The lack of progress and the broken promises from the CEO have left me questioning the integrity and trustworthiness of ReloUK's leadership.

From the very beginning, there were clear deviations from the agreed-upon plan. ReloUK failed to inform me of the necessary documents required for the removal and delivery of the goods, including the crucial import permit. As the supposed experts, they had a duty to inform me of these requirements, but their negligence resulted in significant losses for our organization.

To make matters worse, instead of delivering the goods to our offices as instructed, ReloUK arranged for them to be taken to a storage facility by Kings International, without our knowledge or consent. This unexpected change led to additional charges for storage fees and unnecessary delays.

Despite my repeated attempts to seek clarification and resolution, ReloUK has provided inconsistent explanations, illogical invoices, and an overall lack of concern for our predicament. This has left us with no choice but to pursue legal action to recover our costs and seek compensation for the time and effort wasted on this matter.

It is important to note that ReloUK is known for their deceptive responses to negative reviews, often blaming the consumer and making up excuses. It is crucial to do thorough research and understand that when a company has your goods, you are at their mercy. Most individuals don't have the resources or funds to take these companies to court, which is why they give up. But I assure you, I will not give up.

I am sharing this review to expose the disappointing customer service of ReloUK and to warn others about their unethical practices. It is my hope that this post serves as a cautionary tale and encourages others to do their due diligence before engaging with this company.

We are very upset with this company. What started out as a good experience has now started to turn into a disaster. The furniture has turned up ruined and they are not helping us to claim on the insurance. They say it's our job not there's although we took out their insurance - very bizarre. They were quick to take our business but now there is a problem they are not helpful at all.
You would think they would want recommendations and more business but I don't think so.
Please read the small print in their contract about their insurance company they use as apparently they always use this line you are under insured! They didn't say that when we took the insurance they recommended!

We compared 3 quotations when booking our move to Australia, I have 5 reasons why we choose Relo UK;

3 – Move Day! The Relo team arrived at the time we had been advised, not a minute late! We showed them what we would like packing and they started.

4 – During the shipping process Relo UK kept us informed throughout.

5 – Australia bound!! Are goods arrived within the time slot Relo UK first advised, no broken or damaged items, the guys in Australia also continued the good quality service!

We are extremely thankful to the Relo UK team, they made are relocated stress-free!
