Highly recommend these guys for removals, we moved from Birmingham to Lancashire. Dwayne and his 2 x colleagues arrived on time, they were extremely courteous and very professional. The lads worked very hard, they had a very long day ahead of them, and they barely sat down. Dwayne especially re-assured my mum who was moving house for the first time in 35 years that everything would be fine and to put her feet up and not to stress. That he would do the stressing for her! However the whole move was very smooth. It was not the most ideal day to move as it was pouring down, but this did not deter them from loading the fan it the most efficient way.

My mum was very concerned that we would not be able to get all her belongings into the van, but Dwayne re-assured my mum it was all going to fine and he would sort it. And that he did. I have never seen such an expertly way of loading a lorry. It was like jigsaw it all slotted together amazingly. He had obviously done this before!

There were very large pieces of furniture to move into their van, and they did this with extreme care. Nothing was damaged and there were a lot of fragile and valuable items that they took extra care with these items.

The cost of moving was very reasonable, although not the cheapest you have to remember you get what you paid for. We were glad that we paid that bit extra to receive such an excellent service it was worth every penny.

I had contacted a few other firms and given prices and assurances around dates stating "we can call on our UK network". When it came to it they didn't have the dates or men or vehicles.
So, I contacted MD Removals at very short notice and Lydia came round to quote. Having inspected all rooms she provided a quote there and then. The quote was, to be honest, far more expensive than the others I received, however MD matched the price without argument.
We took the Gold Service to include all packing etc and were very pleased. The packers arrived the day before and on time, leaving us with what we needed for the night and next morning (handy given we have 2x under 3 year olds). They arrived next day on time again and all 4 began to loan the vans (arrived in 3x smaller vehicles rather than one large lorry due to access issues).
They unloaded all items into rooms of our choice and I have no complaints about their work.
Would recommend them and would use them again.
Thanks for accommodating us at such short notice and for matching the price of the larger firms (who work on economies of scale so can offer a cheaper service I guess).

I would like to thank Lydia and Lisa at MD removals, for thier professionalism and the way the made me feel important and reassured me.
On the day of the move, from Bridgnorth to Dudley, I got a phone call from the guys letting me know they were on way and arrived a little early, they got stuck in straight away, they were polite and accommodating all the time, they were very friendly, even though the weather was very hot, they did not stop working.
It seemed they couldn't do enough to make the move comfortable for me, I cannot and did not find a negative comment about this team.
I would certainly recommend MD removals and will definitely use them again, the best company I have ever had the pleasure of working with, from start to finish I was very impressed and so happy I chose MD removals.

I had called MD for a short notice move and they were happy to comply with a very competitive Quote - I called on the Monday to arrange for the Friday with everything quoted for immediately. They even delivered moving boxes for me fairly quickly. I had swap furniture between the 2 properties so in effect this was a double job and MD were more than happy to carry out.

The 2 lad's were slightly delayed from their last job but kept me in the loop and there was no rush or drop in quality to get the job done. As I mentioned this effectively a double job so a couple of extra lads actually came to assist when they had finished their round - they ended up working till around 7/8 on the Friday evening which most of us wouldn't do!

No issues in terms of damaged goods in transit and also they were very helpful in adding a few extra small items. They even tried their best to remove a sofa from the property which had very little hope after years of me trying and ultimately I had to destroy so I could get it to fit through the door frames but I appreciate the effort!

Would use again!!

This is the third time in two years that MD Removals have moved my furniture for me. As usual they were utterly good natured and easy going. This time, things could have been really fraught because the lads set off with the loaded van after promising me that they would do the 150 mile journey slowly so that I could just have a last look round the house before locking it up for the last time then catching them up and overtaking them so that I was in Alton to greet them. They cruised along the M6 at noon without a problem, half an hour later I got stuck behind an accident, and there I sat for 2.5 hours. Fortunately, they were able to get into the house and by the time I arrived everything was where it ought to be and the house was left securely locked up for me. Thank you gentlemen, you did a grand job.

Cannot fault this company, three men arrived on time on a very hot day and worked almost non-stop with a cheerful disposition throughout. As well as loading the van (expertly, never thought everything would fit in!), delivering it to Rugeley and making sure everything was in the right place, they then had to do a pick-up for me from two units in storage in Cannock and also deliver to Rugeley.

They did everything I asked of them and were still smiling at the end of the day, even though exhausted.

I would recommend this removal company without hesitation - it was a stress-free day for me, thanks to this company.

MD removals went above and beyond all means to make our move stress free. Nothing was too much trouble. They were a great bunch of guys from start to finish. The ladies in the office were very helpful. They always got back to me when they said they would and the surveyor Gladstone, who viewed are property was very helpful explaining all the different packages. We decided to go for their gold package which meant we did not have to lift a finger as we had a packing team that came in the day before and packed up all are belongings. The girls were great. I would most definitely use again and I will be recommending you to others. Fantastic!

NEVER use MD removals. They quote cheep to get the business then they charge £15 per item if they feel they have more to move than estimated. They abandoned my partner at storage unit to move all items herself also told her that they did her a favour. They turned up 20 mins late and were very unprofessional and intimidated her being that she was on her own asking her so where is your partner etc. They demanded £20 extra for carrying a large mirror and took it in cash, no receipt.
If you want a quality service then pay a little extra and get it done properly. I have already contacted my solicitor to seek legal advise.
