Man With Van London

I cannot stress how awful the service was.
The mover turned up 40 minutes early, claiming he had another job to get to and I had to hurry. This is despite assurances that I had to book for a minimum of 2 hours and could extend this, as I said I would. After packing in a rush without the driver's assistance, just a guy he said was his nephew that he had brought along, we set off and the driver received a call from another client asking where he was. It turned out he had booked another job at 10, despite my booking lasting a minimum of 2 hours from 9-11am. He lied to the other customer in front of me, saying he was just delayed and would be there shortly. This was before even reaching my new flat.
Upon reaching the flat he again refused to move anything, leaving it to myself and his nephew. He smoked downstairs, and despite his presence there one of my handbags was stolen from the boxes. If it was dropped it would have been noticed, and I am aware that it was stolen because a lady contacted the police after seeing two men going through it around the corner from my new flat, who then contacted me.
After all this, at 11am I tried to pay for 2 and a half hours (despite the fact that my booking started at 9 and he should only have been paid for 2) but he refused to take less than 3 hours pay, claiming that he had lost his other job because of me.
He refused to leave until I overpaid him, and I feel strongly that he should not be allowed to take advantage of customers moving by themselves as they are in a vulnerable position.
The only redeeming feature was his nephew, who was consistently polite and comforted me after his uncle forced me to overpay. If the Man With Van London company is reading this, please hire his nephew instead.
