Recent move from Kent to North Yorkshire

Our move involved a complicated chain from which it had been difficult in establishing specific dates, especially when our move (utilising Fonatana's Packing Service) was to take three days to fully complete the move. The team were extremely helpful throughout the whole process and were very efficient in everything they did. The packing was excellent and the team were very courteous with all they had engaged with throughout. I would not hesitate in recommending Fontana for your move no matter the challenges. Thank you once more to the whole team during what we know to be one of the most stressful things in life - moving!
- Staff are polite and helpful, arrived on time and worked quickly but safely

  Exemplary

The arrangements worked out so well as Gary & Kerry were very patient with my dragging legal completion. Another company who were more costly, just gave up but Gary kept checking in with me. He wasn't putting on pressure, not one mention of 'missing a booking'. They fully appreciate the difficulty or selling a home.

Then Danny & Ricky came to package the difficult items and move me out.

Fontana had agreed to cover me in the insurance so I could travel with them which was wonderful as I don't have a car.

Danny even dismantled my bed which I'd said I'd do but the night before but was exhausted. He just got on with it without my asking AND erected it at my new home.

They were efficient, swift, thoroughly seem to enjoy their job, spoke highly of the company and made moving really fun as we enjoyed great conversations on the journey.

I will definitely use Fontana again....

  Thank you.
- The 3 day packing prior to move date was completed with care and consideration.

  Absolutely Amazing!!

Not only did Fontana help us out at very short notice, they were nothing short of amazing throughout. The 3 day packing prior to move date was completed with care and consideration. Danny and his team worked extremely hard and got the house emptied in what seemed like no time at all. Nothing was too much trouble, and they are friendly and polite at all times. Highly recommend as Fontana made what could have been a stressful event go without a hitch.

From the original visit for a quote, all the way through to finally moving home, Gary kept in contact and responded quickly to any queries and updates.

The team we had on the day took all the stress and worry away and we felt in very safe hands! Aside from being the epitome of professional, they were just genuinely lovely people to boot.

Very professional giving us every confidence

It's a stressful business moving home, but from initial survey and quotation from the owner, through great communication from the office to the professionalism of the guys we had every confidence in Fontana. The experience of our long distance move over two days actually became an enjoyable event and we would not hesitate to recommend Gary and his team.

  5 STAR REMOVAL - BRILLIANT!

Having used Fontana for our previous move back in 2015 we knew we wished to use them again for our move in August 2021. After contacting for a quote Gary came out, looking and asking questions whilst not being too close or intrusive. He clarified lots of questions as well as our own and confirmed a quote would be with us the next day. Our quote was for packing and taking apart/assembling our Beds.

Without fail, we were sent a quote and it was in line with what we expected and budgeted for. As a result, we simply awaited our exchange/completion date to be confirmed before booking in. Kerry was a great help and really helped ease our nerves as we all know the housing market has been booming and lots of people moving, resulting in days filling up quickly. However, Kerry was kind enough to hold onto slots whilst we tried to exchange.

Eventually, we got the exchange confirmed and we called up to pay. Kerry kindly confirmed arrival times/dates and other questions I had without making me feel like a child, which for some of my questions must be hard. Our move was booked to be over two days.

Removals turned up at 7:50 AM on Monday and got straight to work, we had 3 guys, headed up by…

  Moving.

I chose Fontana as they were a local company with 'Medway Fair Trader' approved. Full survey and formal quotes were provided, with a selection of boxes included. They dismantled and reassembled a large wardrobe included within the quote and provided wardrobe boxes. On the day of the move, they arrived on time, were extremely friendly, professional and genuinely cared about my property. It made the day run very smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone moving.
