My husband and I first used the services of DS Carriers in 2015 when we made the move from Cumbernauld to Largs. They had been recommended to us by a friend and they were Superb. Very professional with a friendly attitude and nothing was a problem. They dismantled our adjustable king size bed and also our huge dining room table. They assembled everything on arrival at Largs with no hesitation at all.the cost for the removal was extremely competitive and their professional approach to everything they were asked yo do was fantastic, so when it came to moving my mother in law it was a no brainer it had to be them.
So it is with huge thanks to DS Carriers for moving my 92 mother in law from her flat at Anniedland cross to Knightswood. As usual the service was 5 star and nothing is a bother to Sean Chris and wee Danny they disconnected her washing machine which we were not able to do and also dismantled the bed.
When we arrived at her new home they assembled the bed and were very courteous and so friendly
The boys turned up spot on time and all were dressed in DS Carriers uniforms and very smart. Again their competitive price and friendly approach was five star

Can't thank these guys enough, this company is also contracted to deliver furniture for Harvey's Furniture as well as doing house moves and they did a fab job of delivering my new suite and table and chairs.
They called 30 mins before they arrived which was ideal as I had to leave work to let them in, on arriving they took the time to introduce themselves and cover my new carpets with blankets while also wearing foot covers (great as it was pouring down and I was worried about my carpets as they are not long down) they then carefully brought my furniture in and unwrapped everthing and set it up, assembled my suite and table and chairs also taking all the packaging away. The men were great at their job and took the time to chat to me throughout the delivery making sure I was happy with everything (even though I asked them to re-position my sofas several times as they were far too heavy for me to move)
I didn't catch their names but they were a credit to your company. I will be keeping a note of their number to call them when moving!!

We had DS move our household items and furniture from a two-bedroom flat to a storage area. Then 3 weeks later from storage to a new flat. All on the southside. The first move they did was last minute as the removal firm we had hired were unable to do the job because an emergency with the owner. DS stepped in and did the move and really saved us because we had to turn over the flat to the buyer.
The second move was a big one because we had a lot of stuff in storage. The guys worked like champs. They movef several large, heavy pieces of furniture - chests of drawers, sofa bed, king size bed- with ease. They wrapped all the furniture for safety. They also took care to move fragile items, including china and framed picutres.
Great guys, professional, friendly, and went straight to work. Highly recommended.

I cannot praise D S Carriers highly enough when they moved my daughter from Glasgow to the North East of England recently. Timing was of the essence for us and Sean, together with his team led by Donald, were highly punctual, extremely courteous and careful throughout.

Other companies did not show the same high degree of enthusiasm and interest in quoting for a Saturday move. In contrast nothing was too much trouble for D S Carriers who kept in contact with us during the day with updates as to their expected time of arrival both to collect and deliver the furniture and other items

We felt totally reassured by the attentive service which D S Carriers provided and will have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in using them again for future moves.

Writing this review as a thank you to DS Carriers, its the least I can do to after the fantastic service they provided. They have been great from the get go, from first contact right through until the end. Staff were great, uniformed and very pleasant, I could see within 5 mins of arriving they were very good at their job, they made sure my furniture was wrapped and managed to navigate my tricky furniture through difficult access. Even in the 32 degree heat we had during my move they guys worked hard and were professional at all times. They were recommended to me and now I can see why, great bunch of lads.

Sean, Chris and the rest of the guys were amazing from start to finish. I had never used a moving company before so wasn’t sure what to expect. I call DS Carriers and Sean came out for a chat and explained how they would do things, I was particularly worried about my expensive sideboard and table and chairs however I needn’t have been as DS Carriers wrapped these for me before moving. They covered my sofas and beds which I was ecstatic as it was pouring down.
Once loaded we had a 4 hour wait for keys to our new property and the guys didn’t once complain, and never charged me any extra for the wait. The quote Sean sent was all I paid. Money well spent thank you guys.

DS Carriers were recommended to me recently for our move and the professionalism and work ethic of all the staff shown was appreciated. Both office and moving personnel treated my family with care and respect and they simply couldn't do enough to assist us. I was worried about a few pieces of our furniture however the guys were great and wrapped everything up. Another massive bonus and one of the reasons we chose Sean and his team was that they don't charge waiting fees. All in all a very impressive well run company.

We needed a reliable and professional company to help us move and DS Carriers provided just that ! After being recommended by a few people I asked Sean to come to my home to discuss our move, Sean was pleasant and answered my MANY questions, having never moved using a company before I wasn't sure how it worked. The whole team was meticulous in what they did and handled my items with care and attention. When there was a slight delay waiting on entry they guys were patient and the company didn't charge any additional fees. Very happy customer here.

My husband and I were so happy with our move with DS Carriers. The team turned up promptly on the morning of the move and the whole move from our 3rd floor tenement flat to our new home 20 mins away was done and dusted in just 2 hours! The team were all so chatty and friendly and made us feel at ease. They were incredibly organised and nothing was damaged in transit. I would highly recommend (and have done to others already) DS Carriers if you're looking for movers in the Glasgow area - I couldn't fault them at all.

We got the usual standard three quotations and chose DS Carriers not only from their online feedback but also felt Sean was very informative, professional and approachable we he offered to visit us in our home to discuss our home removal. They also delivered boxes beforehand and were always on hand to offer advise and help where they could. They brought covers to wrap our sofas and mattresses on the day we were moving! Very happy as it was raining cats and dogs!! Very happy with the service.
