I recently moved home from London to Munich. I have lived in six countries, and of the many house moves I've made, the move with Comfort Moves stands out as the smoothest and most professional. Though I had expected Brexit and Covid-19 restrictions to cause delays, my household was delivered in Munich 48 hours after being collected in London. Anna was always reachable and helpful with my queries. Mark and his team are cheerful and very friendly people. Mark has more than 10 years of experience in the moving business and has provided his team with proper training: all of my furniture was carefully wrapped, and there have been no damages to my household. The team arrived on time and finished collecting my household in about 2.5 hours. When I discovered a few hours after the pickup that I had forgotten a bike in the basement, they made a separate trip to come and pick it up! They also accommodated my request to have a few boxes delivered to a separate address in Munich. Comfort Moves allows you to pay after the service is complete, unlike several other companies I contacted which expect some downpayment. Moreover, their quote was very reasonable. Overall, I warmly recommend their services.

We moved from Bath to Exeter and would thoroughly recommend these guys. The price was low, but the service was first class. Communication was good throughout, and the guys were hard working and efficient on the day. Our corner suite wouldn't fit through the doors of our 60s bungalow, but no problem for these guys, they just took out the double glazing windows and popped it in that way, no fuss, no drama, and they also moved some furniture that had been left for us but was in the wrong room. A worrier myself, I was sitting waiting for everything to go wrong; instead, they worked tirelessly and with great care to ensure that there was nothing whatsoever to worry about. Comfort Moves have been outstanding from the beginning. Very friendly and efficient in providing the quote which was not the cheapest but was the best. Removers were not only friendly and efficient, but very good-humoured amid the inevitable complications of moving day. I also used Comfort's storage facilities, which were the cheapest I found. They use wooden crates, so if you want to visit and sort things out, you need to arrange a time. But I had no difficulty on the various visits I made. Always very friendly and accommodating. I have recommended them to others, and will continue to do so.

Used Comfort Moves to move from Oxfordshire to Devon. The guys turned up exactly on time as promised on both days, they were extremely efficient and worked really hard without stopping. They moved heavy furniture through awkward and difficult spaces with poor access without fuss or complaint and expertly too! They were all friendly and professional.

The lack of 5 stars reflects that they lost a few bits and pieces of ours - nothing major just a section of bin and the top of our ladder, and a few things were broken. They were extremely speedy but a little bit rough with our belongings resulting in scuffs and a breaks.

Mark and his team at Comfort Moves could not have been more accommodating. Access to the new house was particularly tricky, but Mark was happy to make the move as easy as possible for us. They collected most things the day beforehand, allowing us time to clean and empty the remaining items from the old house.On move day, they worked late into the evening (on a very warm day) to ensure that everything was delivered safely to our new property (including a piano). I couldn’t recommend them enough - every single one of them was polite and lovely throughout, and the cost was considerably less than other ‘well known’ competitors.

Firstly many thanks to the entire comfort moves team. From start to do finish they were brilliant. We moved on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year but the team arrived on time and worked non-stop to load all of our possessions into the lorry. We’ve moved several times and I’ve never experienced such an efficient and prompt team! The team were friendly and in good humour all day, we got on really well with them and that made the whole move relatively stress-free. The price we paid was pretty much 35% cheaper than the next quote and included as standard lots of things that others considered “optional chargeable services” (such as disassembly and reassembly of beds/furniture, cancellation insurance, packing wardrobes etc) I would have no hesitation in recommending Comfort Moves and already have done so.

Anna, Mark and the team are excellent. Never phased, always helpful & very accommodating as we had to change our move date 3 times and we were moving from Swindon to Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire so was quite a big move but was always there to assure us and help us. Don't ask for a deposit upfront which gives you peace of mind that they will do what they have promised to do and in fairness never let us down. Very friendly & helpful and as this was our first house move in 45 years from the house we moved in all those years ago made what could have been very stressful not to be. I cannot speak highly enough, prices very reasonable, exceptional service and would definitely highly recommend. All emails or phone calls dealt with by return. Cannot fault them, look no further for your house move.

I cannot reccomend Comfort Moves enough. At 36 weeks pregnant in 34 degree heat these guys managed pack and move us with so little stress we cannot thank them enough. Everyone was friendly and cheerful and worked efficiently to get the job done. They packed us the Thursday and moved us the Friday during the August heat wave but did not let this phase them at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone and if we ever move again they are the first ones I would contact, very reasonably priced and very professional in their service.

These guys are just brilliant! Reliable and hardworking. We opted for the full service with packing the day before and they provided exactly that. They cleared my 3 bedroom 3 storey house including disassembling furniture and packing EVERYTHING within just a few hours. The following day (removal day) was so hot. They were ready and waiting with our things and worked like Trojans. These guys are friendly, fun, talkative and helpful, nothing was too much, , they even unloaded the wardrobe boxes bless them.I have a LOT of fragile items, we had 0 breakages and nothing missing. Additionally they were the most comptetitive cost. I received 5 quotes in total. I would not hesitate to recommend and we will most definitely use them again if we move. From the survey through to the final delivery everyone at Comfort was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Other companies confused the issue by layering on so much in the quote and hard selling you on the survey day. Not Comfort. Mark surveyed the contents within 20 minutes with confidence and no fuss. The quote was returned quickly and was clear and simple. Anna had so much patience with the ever changing move date and made a very stressful closing less so. On the day, the moving guys were on time, fast and friendly. The best!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Moves Ltd to anyone considering which company to use for their house move. Our completion date kept being put back, often at quite short notice,

demonstrated tremendous understanding and flexibility. The people carrying out the actual removal were very professional, courteous and efficient. They were also extremely careful - not a blemish was left at either house at each end of the move and nothing was damaged in transit. We obtained quotes from three companies in total and theirs was the most competitive. It was simply excellent service. Look no further than Comfort Moves!

This is now the 7th time I have used this firm in 10 years. Every time they have been fantastic. They recently moved our family of 5 (with packing service), the most competitive quote and completely faultless service. Mark, Anna and the team have moving down to a fine art. The office was brilliant about our move date constantly changing, the team of packers and movers were very respectful and hardworking, and Mark is so calm and patient, nothing is too much trouble for them. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Unlike some other large well known companies, Mark actually comes to your home personally to do a survey.

You get a personal, friendly meeting and we were so impressed that we immediately cancelled any other surveys.

They are by far the cheapest (but also the best) option in the area and it would be hard to find a more hard working and professional team.

They make you feel welcome and are always ready to help with any unforseen problems.

These cheerful movers are a credit to the industry, hard working and careful with precious belongings.

From the first phone call to the delivery this team has been brilliant. Moving is a stressful business, and they have been excellent all the way. I had previously moved some boxes using a different company, and my goods had sustained a lot of damage, so I was very nervous to send more! My things arrived in excellent condition and the delivery team were brilliant, especially considering there was no lift at the final address, and the boxes had to go to the 4th floor.
