City-Removals and Storage

We recently moved from  London to Birmingham.We had quotes from 5 different companies.We opted for this lot in the end as they responded the fastest and the quotation was clear and very well presented.
All went all on the day.
Altough it was a relatively small move they have done their part very well.The workers came on time,they worked very fast and took good care of all our things.
Everything was in our new flat by 4 PM which is nkt bad at all considering the distance.They cane in a Luton truck which in the end was 3/4 full.

Service cost: £530

Nicola came and surveyed our property 2 weeks before our move day.She came on time altough it was quite early on a Saturday morning.She did a very thorough survey opening all the cupboards and wardrobes etc.At the end she explained the service and answerred our questions.The whole visit took around 30 mins.The quote was send to us on Monday morning and because we found the price reasonable we decided to book.
All went very well from there on with our moving day being extremely stress free and without incidents.
As our new address was on a narrow road instead of sending a big truck they sent 3 smaller vehicles.All 5 men that moved us were true proffesionals and also very experienced.They were very well breefed in advance as well.Also they worked organized and kept to a plan all day with everyone kowing their role.Some were dismantelling some were wrapping and others were loading.
A top service that I am more than happy to endorse and recommend to others.

I hired this company to move my belongings from London to Edinburgh.This was a small move with no pieces of furniture involved.I ve done the packing myself and I ended with around 50 boxes.
I filled in their online quote request and they called me back to discuss.They explained that because I had no heavy items it would be more cost effective to only have 1 men with a van.This seemed a good ideea and I was happy with it.
It also meant that I had a free ride with the driver in the van.
The whole trip took us around 7 hours.The van was limited to 70 mph.
The chap was a nice and polite guy.He was on time in the morning and worked quite hard throughout the day.He was also a very good driver driving very safely.
Altough not a complicated move the service received was a very good one.

This company was recommended to us by someone who used them twice and was very happy with the service.To be able to compare we also asked prices from a few other companies.City removals turned out to be in the middle of the bunch.As they were recommended to us and they also did a home survey we decided to go with them. I can now say that it was a very good decision.The service provided was excellent and I do not think they could have done more.The packing was done exemplary ,they wrapped furniture,they were very carefull when handling stuff,etc. The workers were smartly dressed,clean and polite.They were all uniformed and trained.Also they are instructed to be as helpfull as they can, as the men followed our instructions without any complaining. Nothing was damaged or even scratched. At the end they were also happy to dump a few things we no longer nedeed for a very reasonable fee.

Like others we chose this company after reading so many good things about them on the internet.
We had a 6 men team that packed and moved us over two days.
The packing was done very well with all the items properly wrapped and protected.They did not spare any materials in ensuring everything is securely packed.All the boxes were marked and contents insisde packed logicaly.
The moving was also first class.All the men were experienced and everyone knew precisely what to do.Handling our furniture they were extremely carefull and exact.The end result was nothing was damaged or even scratched.
Altough moving is stresfull no matter what you do we really apreciated them trying their best to offer us a very smooth transition to our new property.
I can safely recommend this company to everyone in need of moving.

We are very happy with how our move went with this company.A very good service from the begining to the end.
Their office also dealt with the parking organizing bays at both properties.This was a huge help.They also always answerred our emails very quickly confirming payments or other queries we had.
The removal men were proffesional and very hardworking.Typical eastern european work ethics which impressed us the most.They were helpfull and always willing to go the extra mile.At our new house they moved the sofa about 3 times untill we were happy and we had no complaints from them or funny faces.
All our furniture was properly protected with blankets and other covers they had with them.
We also gave them a tip at the end as we thought tgey thoroughly dezerved it.

This is by far the best experience I've had. From the start the person on the phone was very helpful and responded promptly with clear information. Both guys on the day were professional and really took care of our things. We had quite a few plastic bags with clothes/bedding etc and they even packed them into boxes they brought along. Everything was well packed and protected. (including a mattress cover for my double mattress)They were also vey fast! Took way less time than expected. Totally impressed and will deinitely recommend them.

This is a follow up to a previous review we have posted about 1 year ago when they took our stuff  in storage.
The brilliant service continued when they brought our stuff back.It has been a long road as we have refurbished our house.We wish all the people we dealt with in this process(lawyers,builders) offerred the same service,but unfortunaely it was not the case.
The last thing we needed was issues with the removal company but it was not the case.
Our belongings were deliverred over the course of two days.
We looked in the trucks and everything was protected and wrapped as it was when they took them away.They remeberred how to assemble everything,they had all the parts and nothing was lost.
Also all the men were incredibly incredibly polite and helpfful.
We checked all our furniture for damage and none was found.
Also they placed all the big furniture exactly where we wanted in many cases moving things twice as we were trying to figure how everything should be.
All in all the service we received was nothing short of what we were expecting.On the contrary the kindness and willingness of the removal men to help all the time blew us away.
We would recommend them without a doubt to anyone that values a good stress free service.
