  Firstly I must praise the crew on our move from Devon to Hampshire. They were everything that the office should have been and wasn't - cheerful, happy, efficient, good at their jobs. The office staff were a disaster zone - adding on extra charges after the contract was agreed - including one for delivering on a later day than had been requested!. We were also joined with another move without advising us, or offering a discount. Staff were slow to respond and rude. I have used Britannia on multiple occasions in the UK, Europe and North America, but not this office before which I was bitterly disappointed with.

  Fantastic service
  
  After a painful flood at our flat we got in touch with brittania lanes devon as that's where we were relocating. They gave us the piece of mind and the extra care and as soppy as it sounds gave extra love to our possessions as it needed to be stored overnight. A lovely lady kerry gave us updates all throughout the move and even after the move even called to ask how the move and how we are. After dealing with insurance/loss adjusters I had lost faith but kerry gave us the extra care/security the removal guys were fantastic and professional and could see they took extra care while packing up the flat. Thank you removals team and thank you kerry out of the 5 companies we had to liase with only 2 surpassed expectations and brittania certainly did that. Thank you ladies and gents.

  Britannia Lanes of Bridgewater - First Class Service
  
  Very professional service throughout, from the initial video survey through the removals, storage, and redelivery process. The video survey was conducted by a knowledgeable, competent, and friendly member of the team. Both crews on the removal and redelivery days were professional, competent, and friendly. Great care was taken with all our belongings with extra care given to our specified items. The storage was carried out effectively with no damage occurring. We can thoroughly recommend Britannia Lanes of Bridgewater.

  Packing and moving the contents of my late mother's flat from Somerset
  
  This is the second time I have used Britannia Lanes in Somerset and on both occasions the service was excellent. The team arrived on time to pack and collect, and delivered on schedule to the destination. They were pleasant and efficient, and took good care of everything. Booking the service was easy with the office staff very helpful and efficient. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

  Our experience with Britannia Lanes of Somerset & Bristol was excellent. From the quoted price of storing our household goods, to the condition they were in when they arrived at our new home - we had nothing but great service from the staff.
  
  The storage units are in good condition and we had easy access to our unit.
  
  Although moving is an extremely stressful time, Britannia Lanes made sure at least that part was as smooth as possible.

  House to apartment move
  
  Excellent service and very helpful workers. Only a couple of very minor breakages. Packaging was excellent and all glassware and crockery safely transported. The removal men were helpful cheerful and tireless in their work. Everything was properly covered and protected and they worked flat out to put all the furniture and boxes into the new apartment even though it was on the second floor and they were not able to use the lifts (Covid rules apparently!). Highly recommended the team from Oswestry!

  Following a video quotation, Brittania carried out the first of two removals on time and with efficiency.
  
  On arrival the crew were friendly, hard working and obliging.
  
  Loading was done carefully and without fuss. Similarly unloading at the delivery address, efficient, careful and helpful.
  
  Accordingly we look forward to the second phase removal in a few months.

  My initial impression was positive. They seemed quick, efficient and friendly. But the end result was far from satisfactory. Art works were broken and some items were missing. It was not until a month after I reported the breakage that they told me they would undertake the repair. It would have saved me a great deal of anxiety if they had told me that at the outset. I have still not received the missing items.

  The team from Britannia Lanes did a 1st rate job packing and moving our mothers' belongings from Somerset to Kent. The team were polite, punctual, and worked hard and adhered to all Covid-19 regulations. Britannia Lanes remains my 1st choice of removal company. As a family we have used them 3 times and every move has been relaxed, no breakage and stress free.

  Britannia Lanes Damaged & refused to pay up.
  
  I used Brtiannia Lanes of Exeter for my removals. They were expensive but seemed like a proffessional outfit and I thought it was worth it. How very wrong was I! The guys doing the removals were really nice, professional and made the move very easy. My issue is not with the staff it the management of the company. During the move a number of my items were damaged, I know it's inevitable and so took extra insurance. The management at Britannia Lanes refused to take responsibility for the damage, even though it was 100% evident it was them. I was very dissappointed with their attitude and woudl advise anyone thinkng of doing business with them to think again, they are unlikely to hounor their contract with regard to insurance and damage. When I moved the next time I used a local chap who was excellent, the damage was minimal and he was more than happy to pay for the damage, however, I didn't bother with as the damage was so minimal. My advice is to keep clear of Britannia Lanes, they will charge you the earth, encourage you to take extra insurance and then when they damage your items, if you want the money, you will have to take them to court. I hope someone will do this in the…

Local removals

Over the years Britannia Lanes Somerset and Bristol have provided me with various first class services from removal, to storage to van hire and even document destruction.

Can not fault in any service and will always recommend to friends, family and colleagues.
