I moved almost 400 miles across the country and Vandyman were handsdown the most fantastic team I could have asked for from start to finish. They walked me through my exact requirements from van size to number of people doing the removal, explained each cost in detail so there were no surprises in the quote and worked with me however possible, and offered a totally reasonable quote for the move in relation to other local companies I tried. The move was expensive, I won't lie, but it was middle of the road of the quotes I received and even if it had been higher, the service would have made it totally worth it. From beginning to end I felt like the entire team were listening to what I needed and what I was asking for, which is something I've never found with a moving company before. They were prompt and they were polite in every interaction I had with them (and I ended up meeting 5 members of the team before the end!). I went into this move feeling anxious and a bit wary due to previous movers being a bit pushy, but after dealing with them for just a couple of days I felt totally confident and not at all anxious once they were on board. To a one, everyone was really respectful and, most of all, kind - they took the time to ask me about my day and my move, made jokes and just had an overall wonderful attitude. You can tell they all like their job. Last but not least, Mark was a real star and went above and beyond to help me get over my anxiety and really cemented my trust in the company. He kept me in the loop from start to finish and went out of his way to make the move as painless as possible. I genuinely can't rate them high enough, they are a fab company with a fab group of guys all around. I would absolutely trust them to do any future moves for me without hesitation.

We choose Vandyman as our removal company as they were very reasonably priced. We packed our removal boxes ourselves but I was expecting a few breakages, there were none at all. The men worked hard and packed up at Bristol very quickly without needing us to be there to supervise. They texted to tell us when they were going to arrive at our new house in Boston, Lincolnshire (nearest town in drop down list is Nottingham) in good time. On arrival, not only did they unload all of our boxes but also did a few odd jobs such as plumbing in the washing machine and tacking down a loose carpet on the stairs. They were amazing at moving furniture around awkward spots such as the stairwell. I have no problem recommending these friendly and professional people, they made a day I was dreading go very smoothly and easily indeed. The fact that they were £1000 less than the next best price was an agreeable bonus.

I cannot  recommend highly enough  the removal guys from Boston who did my house move from Peterborough to Newcastle upon Tyne. Firstly they were the only company who responded to my inquiry by phone, then arranged a preliminary visit. This proved to be worth it as I had underestimated how much stuff I had, so the price was set accordingly. They arrived exactly on time and nothing was too much trouble. Everything arrived safely and they didn't leave until after 6 pm with a long journey back. Thoroughly recommended and Thanks for a great job, one less thing to worry about when dealing with an already stressful situation.

I found mark and his team very friendly, there was nothing they couldn't do. They made my house move fast and easy. I would recommend these guys to anyone moving home or who needs anything delivering. They safely moved my 3 bedroomed house without any damage what so ever. Vandyman are a reliable company who months only moved the contents of my home but also the contents of my charge nod shed. The boys were very helpful in ever aspect of the job. They made me feel at ease throughout the process which in turn made the whole experience stress free. If you're moving home give mark a call his quotes are very reasonable. If I ever move home again I would not use ny other company I would go starlight to Vandyman removals. .

Helped us out with a short notice large home removal. Professional prompt service, excellent service levels and good value for money. Not phased by any challenges that presented themselves during a move that had its fair share of ups and downs. Mark and the team were sociable, friendly and relaxed, and reassured us when we suffered some delays in the Completion
process. Mark is ambitious and works hard to ensure that his business is professional and successful and it shows in the level of service he gives to the customer. Highly recommended.

I had requested quotes via AnyVan and after comparing with lots of different sites, I decided to go with VandyMan (Goldmoves on AnyVan).  Not only did they offer me one of the lowest quotes, but also I was impressed by the clients' reviews and Mark's prompt response.   I was not disappointed. Mark was very flexible with dates, as I didn't know myself until the last minute!  Mark's team showed up nice and early and started working straight afterwards. They took care of everything and had been courteous and friendly throughout the whole moving process.  My move was a whole days move, the service was second to none. I was really happy that I used this company. This made a stressful moving experience much easier and almost pleasant because the guys literally took care of everything so nicely. Mark was great help and I will definitely recommend his service to other family members and friends.  This company offers the best available realistic quotes, they may not be the cheapest ones compared with those gum tree advertisers but they are licensed, insured and carry their duties with absolute professionalism, I was very pleased with this experience and would like to thank them.

Vandyman were excellent and couldn't be faulted. On time, on budget, the team were thoughtful, well mannered, hard working, good humoured and made the whole experience easy and straight forward. They worked very hard to get us out of our property swiftly.Our property had tricky excess both ends. I found it almost impossible to find someone to help me move a piano across the city, but Vandyman Removals did it for the best price available and with all the right equipment. When the job turned out to be more difficult than anticipated, they were prepared to come back the following day with extra men at no further cost..though we managed to avoid this outcome when we found the piano could be dismantled. Polite, enthusiastic and professional. I will certainly be recommending them to anyone looking to move house!

I searched high and low on the internet to find a removals company to suit on both delivery and suitable dates for my son. Where he lives is on a steep hill with an awkward access to the front door so not an easy place for people to remove items to and from. After contacting Mark at Vandymans removals all my problems were answered. He was so professional, courteous and more than obliging in discussing everything required for the move, and so genuine and honest. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is unsure of booking a removal firm. He would more than likely surprise anyone with his costs as for me the price was fantastic and by all accounts having read other peoples reviews, it seems to be the difference in price to other companies and the professionalism that comes across on speaking to him by email or by phone.

From when I first spoke to Mark at Vandyman Removals he was just brilliant, he took the time to come and see me and also to listen to what I needed, he must be one of the nicest people on this planet, Mine was a Homeswap with Housing Associations which meant that it was going to be a bumpy ride with the dates and he was just don't worry give me when you think I will pencil you in and this just happened to take near on 3 months which was leading up till the Christmas period I was panicking, Mark was not and finally we got a date for the 13th December 2014 and not only that because I did not have transport and was going to have to get the train down to Sutton by myself he said NO you can travel down with the drivers, which just helped no end not having that extra hassle of trying to make my way from St Austell to Sutton in Surrey  The day before the move he sent 2 men and Van to pack up the house. And the day of the move another van arrived to take the last of the box's etc And I was presented with a gift from Mark a Chocolate Horseshoe which I have still got hanging in my kitchen. Which just goes to show what a nice guy he is. I just cannot praise the kindness of Mark high enough. he just kept everything calm and easy. The prices he charges for the service he deliveries is probably the best you can get. This man goes above and beyond to help people and it just shows in the 1st class service he provides for his customers. I must apologise to Mark for only now doing this review, I thought I had done it. I would use him again if I ever have to move.

Our trust in removal companies had been knocked down due to breakages, carelessness and being unprofessional. However, the guys at Vandyman changed our opinion and we will never use another company again. They were efficient, carefull, courteous and a lovely, friendly bunch of men. They loaded our 3 bedroom house in a record time of 40 minutes and drove the van 250 miles to our new home. We could not have asked for a better service or a better team. If you want to move something you need to come to these guys they made the whole process painless took away all my worries and talked to me until I understood exactly what would happen and when. The guys whom deliverd I could not fault at all. Nice pleasant and informative. They couldn't do enough for me. Nothing was too much trouble. After my mother was let down at short notice for a house move, Vandyman stepped in literally at the eleventh hour and saved our bacon. The professional approach and "no problem that cannot be overcome" approach was very refreshing. Several problems required the company to go above and beyond the standard move but they managed them all with a re-assuring confidence. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. On Friday 7Th October I moved from Plympton to Princetown, Vandyman removals turned up right on time as promised and after a quick assessment they cracked on All 3 lads were very polite and kept me informed of progress, they took great care of all items being moved. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. For a very competitive price and a service that is second to none, I will be using them again when the need arises. Tuesday 22 November Vandyman moved a few heavy items from my house to my daughters property. I cannot speak highly enough of the professional and efficient service we received. They took great care within my house and my daughters, which was greatly appreciated as my daughters has just been refurbished, no scuffs on walls and no dirty marks on cream carpets, it was definitely 'good old fashioned service' Mark is a very genuine guy whom I would highly recommend and use again, also we could not fault the price, it was definitely 'value for money'. So once again a very BIG thank you.

Mark and the gang were total life savers for our recent move from Plymouth to Bristol the week before Christmas (2016). Vandyman were recommended to me from a neighbour of an existing customer.

Mark's attention to detail for the quoting process left me feeling content and confident I was being quoted accurately, that there were going to be no nasty surprises on moving day.

Despite a few small setbacks in terms of the property not being ready to move in, the whole process went smoothly. I'm very pleased with the level of service received and felt compelled to write a review to share my feelings for other potential movers.

I can’t recommend the team enough, they helped us out with a short notice move and their packing and moving steam were incredibly efficient. We were out of our house by ten and when the legal side of the sale delayed us getting in our new home the team were unfazed and brought in extra staff so that we were settled in good time
Packing materials were of a good standard and no damage to furniture was done, they even pointed out pre existing damage to a table and wardrobe that they thought they had caused
Overall a trustworthy, reliable and efficient service.

This is going to be an odd review because few haven't actually used the Vandyman to move - but wish we did!! My sister moved and the company was fabulous so when it came to our move I asked the Vandyman round for a quote. Mark is very thorough and explains everything fully and in detail so you know what is going on and why. Ultimately we went with another company because - well the numbers were quite different and the husband obviously said it wasn't enough to like Mark when it came to quite a few hundred pounds. Reluctantly I agreed.
Well, after a few problems with the other company, to additional costs, to my queries on what days they're actually packing us and moving us the other company agreed we did need an additional day and increased the quote - remarkably it now pretty much matched the Vandyman who had already worked out we would need that extra! I didn't want to go ahead with them any longer and rang Mark to ask if he was available for our date - he was! The other company have been deceitful and held us to a contract even though they breached their own contract. Mark has helped to try to get us out of a mess with a company I don't want moving us as I don't trust them - sadly I'm no good with confrontation and neither is the hubby so we're stuck. Learn from me - don't make the same mistake - Mark is a genuine guy who quotes properly and I would feel confident having him in my home.

I subcontracted a job to Mark and crew. They did a first class job. I would highly recommend. They turned up early, delivered early all staff. They were smart and professional. Vehicles were clean and tidy. I am very impressed. Job was a little tricky with poor access at loading address but no problem as they sent the right size vehicles.
