Andy Thompson Man and Van

Andy completed a small house removal for me in October 2022 from Belfast to Manchester. I found him brilliant throughout the entire process. He was prompt in his responses for a quote and confirming a date for the move. On the day itself he provided updates on time of arrival and was bang on time. Everything was delivered in perfect condition the following morning in Manchester again right on schedule. I’d definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a small house move.

Really lovely experience. Andy took all the Hassle out of our move. We own 3 properties and were retiring to our Welsh Cottage, so transferred most of our small stuff over several months via our cars and a small trailer. Andy turned up and took the bulky stuff. Double Bed, Washing Machine, large 3 piece suite etc. We used his website van size guide to work out what would fit into his van and estimated that it was a great size and would take our final larger items no problem. Andy turned up and packed the van with my help and took all the hassle out of our move. I even recommended him to a lady in the town we were moving to and he got a small return load. She was also full of praise for Andy. He solved a problem for her too. Very, very pleased indeed. I'd recommend him to anyone and will use him again in the future as our daughter is still in Aylesbury and will need his services again. First class experience.. Great service. Great price. From start to finish Andy was extremely prompt and professional. I received a very reasonable quote for my pick-up and delivery which spread across a Saturday and Sunday. The communication was frequent when getting the quote and Andy sent confirmation of the pick up the day before and let me know he was running late due to traffic on the delivery day which was extremely useful. When he arrived the van was in immaculate condition he had sufficient blankets and foam to protect all my items. He was very helpful throughout the move and I would recommend Andy for anyone moving across the UK.

Andy actually moved us from Cambridge to Portrush which is on the North Coast of Northern Ireland. He also allowed us a day between pick up and delivery for my husband to be able to fly over and help him to unload.

I honestly don't know how Andy managed to fit everything into his van but he did and we filled every bit of space. I'm not sure we really qualified as a 'light' removal once all our stuff was loaded but not once did Andy complain and he was extremely friendly and polite throughout. Even before we met Andy on collection day he was prompt with information, extremely professional and courteous.

This is the first time I have moved away from home and with all the stress going on it was a relief to have chosen such a reliable and trustworthy mover as Andy. Please do not hesitate if you are thinking of using his services, he is a gem and it will be the right decision.

Professional, courteous and considerate. We've used Andy both to move us over to Ireland and back again a year later - and we wouldn't have done that if there'd been any problems or breakages. Good, helpful communication via email and text kept us informed at every stage and any queries were quickly answered. Prompt arrival and delivery with careful packing and unpacking. During a stressful time we couldn't have asked for a better or smoother experience.

I was moving from the UK to Ireland and needed to transport my furniture. After reading the brilliant reviews for Andy I decided to trust him with my move. It was the best decision I could have made. Prompt replies to my many questions beforehand. Arrived on time to pack the van and managed to find a space for everything, even though I had my doubts! Arrived on time in Ireland and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would recommend him to anyone. Also done a lot cheaper than a removals company.

I bought a dining table, chairs and sideboard on ebay in January of this year in Norwich and needed them to be delivered to Dublin.  I got Andy's phone number from my daughter who lives in London and many of her friends had used Andy moving to or from London.  I found him extremely professional, extremely friendly and very accommodating.  When he arrived at the address in Norwich to pick up the furniture he rang me to let me know that it was in great condition.  He arrived on time to my address.  The furniture was really well strapped into Andy's van and very well covered, avoiding any damage. I will use Andy again and I would recommend him without hesitation.  If you have something to move, Andy is your man!  Thank you so much Andy.

After being badly let down by a large removal company we were delighted to find Andy. We were undertaking a large move from
London to Ireland and he reassured us everything would fit and be transported safely and on time. Andy picked up at our house in London at midday on Sunday loaded within half an hour and met us at our Irish home at 8pm the next night and again had everything unloaded in no time. An excellent, friendly and professional service we have already recommended Andy to friends of ours who will be making the same move as us in the future. Andys prices are extremely competitive and you definetly won't find better service around.

Andy helped me moving my belongings from London to Liverpool.
His was very reliable, his price was perfect , a lot more affordable for me then the prices a lot of other movers quoted and communication was good.
As I wanted to help with the loading and unloading , he allowed me to travel with him in his van to our destination. He was very pleasant and easy to get on with and the move was done so easy without any stress as I had anticipated.

Moving can be stressful, and it was, but at least Andy made everything he could super easy.

Excellent communication from start to end, turned up bang on time at both ends. Everything arrived in one piece and he did a great job of protecting things in the van.

We filled up his van to to brim (thanks to his excellent tetris skills), he helped load and unload everything and did so with a smile on his face.

Great guy and I would highly recommend for any move.

From the first email we sent to Andy we were impressed. His responses to our initial enquiries were comprehensive and he was very patient with all our questions. He stayed in touch via text message when he was en route to collect our belongings and when he was making the delivery. We were very pleased with his profressionalism whilst loading our belongings and our family who met Andy the other side to receive our belongings were equally as pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andy.
