Acorn Removals

Now that my move has been finalised I wanted to leave a customer review to say how very impressed I was with Acorn move service and in particular the qualities of the men sent to undertake the packing and removal. I have moved several times before and I can say with complete honesty the the men sent by Acorn were by far the best team I have ever experienced despite having used "brand" names removal companies in the past. All three men were polite, hard working and very careful with my belongings and naturally very helpful. They made what is often an unpleasant exprience into something that was much accomplished with good natured humour and a minimum of fuss. If you are looking for a removal company then this is one to consider with out any doubt. I would also like to congratulate Acorn as a whole for the understanding as we had to change our dates several times and this was never an issue. The service was very much satisfactory. Exceptional service by the staff members and they were efficient. The manic of moving from one house to another is a very hard time and we have small children so it was made even harder as there was so much to get sorted before our day. Nothing had gone to plan with this move as it had been nothing but problems with solicitors and estate agents trying to get the last bit of paper work in place so we could get moved, and we had been waiting for it to sort its self out for ages it did eventually and glad to say at long last we got our date, a huge sigh of relief was had between my  self and my wife. They were very knowledgable and we could see that they did this job every day as it was just a case of lets get on with it, the weather didnot help as it bounced down with rain all day but that was out of our hands and the poor blokes must have been glad when it was over as I know we both were. The staff members were a blessing to us and boy how they worked from morning till late, just so glad were here now in our new home and what can I say but thanks to the crew members.

I was looking online for a removal company I could trust and who would make it as easy as possible when I decided to move. Firstly I was impressed with the helpful lady on the phone who went through my actual needs as to whether I needed to have the packing service or not which I did as I am on my own and an extra pair of hands always comes in handy as it just made it that little bit easier. Every thing was packed and ready two days before my moving day so it was nice just to get going and on the day they just came in and packed the lorry and was away with out to much fuss. It was not the cheapest price I was given but not the dearest but I would rather pay a bit more and get the service that I was given on the day which in my mind was out standing. My work requires me to move every so often so I wont hesitate but to use them again.

We felt that your company were spot on with our move. They were professional and particularly careful during the loading and unloading of my goods with each removal man knowing exactly how to pack a removal van. They are a credit to your company in the fact that they were respectful to my self and my wife and were the same with all our furniture. The men were very cheery and courteous and a pleasure to have in our home cracking jokes and really getting stuck in with the packing service we had two days earlier and getting it done with out stopping( only when we gave them tea and sandwiches). Horrible weather did not put them off and it was all done with out to much fuss. I hold the men in high esteem and am pleased to put this thank you review on.

I would like to thank every one for there out standing help and service which was really good in that my move from Sheffield to Norwich which is long distance went with out a hiccup. It was over the two days but from the initial organisation with Ron in the office and with all his help and advice when he first came to see us and made sure we understood how the moving process works and how to make it as easy as possible so we could relax a little and we did knowing it was all in the hand of people who care about the customer.  Also the packing service we had was a blessing as it freed up so much of our time as we both work full time. I like the idea of the hanging wardrobe boxs that made it so much more simple when sorting out clothes. So glad we are now settled and a pleasure to have dealt with acorn removals in sheffield.

Acorn crew moved my elderly mother from a house in sheffield to a ground floor flat and to say it was difficult for her was putting it very mildly as she had been in the house for nearly 50 years and we were born there so you can imagine how hard it was going to be on the day moving her from the home she loved, but it had to be done as she can't get around like she used to so it made sense for her to go into a ground floor flat. It was a very emotional day not just for my mum but for all the family as well seeing mum upset to start with but that was soon taken away by the moving men as they showed my mum respect and care and empathy, and they also made sure she was involved with the move so that it made her look like she was still independant and she is so that helped. Mum was relocated with great dignity and by the end of the day even managed a few laughs which was very good to see. Not only do you get a really good service but you also get a really caring bunch of men who went out of there way and took that extra step to make mums day a good one. Must say a very well organized day and the men were polite and friendly and carried out a removal in a very professional manner. First of all can I say I will never move again as all the stress that goes into getting things sorted with solicitors is a night mare being told very last minute your moving the next day and on a Friday of all days. It was pure panic in my mind how I would cope I phoned a couple of removal companies and did not get my questions answered and felt I was not given the help I needed so decided to phone acorn removals and was told they had a lorry available and filled me in on what to do as it was all very rush rush.They packed the contents of my 4 bedroom and did it all on the day and it only took 1 day to move me, could not understand why another company told me 2 days but that really does not matter now. Yes Bob and the 2 other men even helped me pack the last bits that I never got time to do. Next time I move I would have the packing service and try to be a bit more organised, but hey ho can't complain as it all went well. MOVE WELL DONE.

Ron and his crew were fantastic as we had an enormous amount of stuff and they packed and moved us and remained very cheerful and helpful the entire time. The staff in the office were helpful as well having excellent communication skills and therefore minimised much of the stress involved with moving. It was a complex move as it was 2 moves into one property but we were most impressed with the excellent co-ordination Rons team provided. The company is clearly dedicated and committed to giving the customer a good service. Also great to find nothing lost or broken.

Pleased with removal and have no complaints as they just got on with doing there job. Good company to deal with.not ideal weather to work in but just glad we moved in before Christmas. They arrived on time and cared for all our possessions and we felt like we mattered as customers so we were very pleased with that. The whole proces the way it went gave me confidence and trust in the moving day so I shall most certainly mention to my work mates friends and family to give them a call.

All contact with the office right from the start was professional and very pleasant, queries were dealt with quickly and every thing was explained to make it easier for us on our moving day. I used storage and was happy with both how the removal and the cost of the storage came out at when all was completed. No damage to my goods and the job was fulfilled with both speed and care so extremely happy with picking this firm. Use if you move as was happy with my very good service. The price of storage was very good to.

We recently used Acorn removals to move us from Dore in Sheffield to Bradway and found this company to be very efficient and extremely professional in the handling of our move. The three men were most efficient with the moving process. They collected the furniture and delivered it to my new address in the same condition. I found the men to be very hard workers and found they went out of their way to make this very big move as easy as possible. Acorn removals helped me move from a 2 bedroom flat in Totley to Doncaster. Communication from Acorn right from enquiring about a quote up until my moving day was excellent. I found this company to be very helpful and offering good advice right from the very start some things I wasnot sure of like what I needed to pack and what could be left in drawers ect, so when you get good advice it is a great help when youv not really done it before, last time I moved my self and said never again to much hassle. I found them to be very reliable and hard workers and all was intact with my furniture. My experience with them was a pleasant one and I will use there services in the future if I move again. ps it was Sheffield to Doncaster but it wouldnot let me put Doncaster in as a town.

I was able to make arrangements for my removals in a very short notice at a very reasonable price. The team were great and timely and the communication enabled me to work around the collection and drop of my goods. They were speedy and very polite and so careful with my items. I had to give the men a key and let them get on with it, as I had to pick up keys. So it was great when I got back and they were in control and getting it sorted (putting furniture in the right rooms). Any one looking for a hassle free move, then give these people a ring.

Acorn did a brilliant job in organising and carrying out my recent move from Sheffield to Leeds, and I am really happy to let others know that it all went according to plan on the dreaded day. They were able to answer all my queries before the move to determine the costs and times and they also provided a higly competitive quote which was good.  Moving is a really stressful time and as im on my own its made worse in the fact I couldnot really do much to help but I didnot need to any way as the chaps did it all. The chaps never complained even though the flat in  Leeds was on the third floor with no service lift, they just carried it all up a very narrow stair case and I felt really sorry for them, but they just carried on. A really brilliant company to use, I was told by a mate to use Acorn removals in sheffield as they had used them a couple of years ago and were delighted with there service. Im happy I took notice of my friend as he was right they were excellent on the day, arrived 5 minutes early ready for there 9.00 clock start time and they just never stpooed all day, it was a 2 day job as I was moving from sheffield to glasgow with my work, they just cracked on with it, got to glasgow a little earlier than we thought which was great for me as it gave me more time to sort out my furniture in my new flat.
