Packing, Removal and Unpacking 4 Bed House House Move

1st Choice Removals were absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The packing, moving and unpacking teams made our move far less stressful and went above and beyond at every stage.

They were professional, hardworking, friendly and full of good humour, even while working through two of the hottest days in the UK history24th-25thJune 2026 (Almost superhuman). A special thank you for helping us get our fridge freezer into the house after Currys left it outside — without them, we would have been stuck.

The whole team were a credit to the company, and I would not hesitate to recommend 1st Choice Removals to anyone moving home. THANK YOU! I cannot thank you enough for an amazing job well done.

      Home move

We were more than happy with the service given by all the team at Ist Choice Removals. Aaron and Matt arrived when expected , packed quickly but very carefully making sure our possessions were well protected. They were cheerful and good humoured whilst working really efficiently on a very hot day during the recent heatwave. They also had to contend with a sloping drive which made it even harder work . Thanks guys , you were brilliant . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ist Choice to anyone.

      Removal service

Cannot recommend 1st Choice Removals highly enough! From Steve who visited us at home to provide a quotation to Marco, Rob, Clint and the rest of the team all were highly professional in their management of our recent housemove. They made us feel very confident regarding their handling of our furniture and possessions and I am delighted to report that not a single item of kitchenware was damaged! At the same time their friendly approach and excellent teamwork kept us both reassured and entertained throughout what has, in the past, been an unbelievably stressful time.

Thank you to everyone at 1st Choice for a first class service!

Clint and Rob contacted us on route with an ETA time. On arrival were polite, courteous, personable and upbeat!

Took ‘everything’ in their stride and we were fully loaded within an hour.

On arrival, all of our possessions arrived in tip top condition, our home surfaces were protected and everything was brought in with utmost care and consideration.

They were happy to go above and beyond to ensure all went smoothly on our important day.

      Removal from Broadstone to Sherborne

The company offered a personal service from the outset. We were isolating at the time of the survey to quote, so they arranged a video link. They called when they said, provided the quote in a timely manner. Moving day went smoothly. Removal men very friendly & efficient. They consulted us at each stage of the move. Highly recommended.

1st Choice Removals - great team

The team were friendly, professional and very efficient. The guys helped to make removing and moving items from my elderly mother's home a positive experience. Upon arrival at my home they were very happy to moveheavy items around for me - they actually managed to beat me there and had already started unloading the garden items. They did everything promised and protected some delicate items.

I personally enjoyed the friendly banter between the guys - it made a big difference at what was a difficult time for me. I would definitely recommend them! A*

1st Class Removals Live Up to their Name

We recently used 1st Class Removals for our move and can’t speak highly enough of them. They arrived between the times stated and apart from a brief stop for lunch while we got our keys, worked solidly. They were professional and friendly and dedicated to the job. We still have a few boxes to unpack but so far the only casualty of the move was a wine glass which we obviously didn’t pack very well, apart from that everything was intact and put into the rooms we requested. Would highly recommend.

    • The guys turned up on time & greeted us with friendly Happy smiles all round.

      Best moving experience ever.

This was the second time of using 1st Choice Removals and just as the first time their quote was the super competitive. They conducted the move to the highest standard, from the initial video assessment through to the back office support.

The removal team, led by Clint, arrived bang on time, were very professional, friendly and helpful. They provided total protection for doors, stairways, carpets etc. for both outgoing and ingoing properties. They listened to any questions we had, placing items where we wanted them and insisted that we didn’t lift a finger to move anything.

Overall the experience was really worth ten stars.

Long-distance move from Yorkshire to Yorkshire

Move from Dorset to Yorkshire

Fantastic communication and support right from the start. The lads doing the move could not have been more polite and helpful. From arrival to start loading the two lorries nothing was to much to ask from them. A great team from office to the men on the trucks. Well done and thank you for taking some of the stress of moving away.
