Used Smile Moves for a London to Brighton residential move via a pick-up in Surrey on Wednesday 3rd December. The two-man team Norbert & Robbie were bang on time and right from the go were friendly, considerate and efficient. Immediately put us at ease, worked hard, fast & with great care. Brilliant communication skills, fed-back frequently to clarify understanding. Having shopped around the price was competitive and the Director had clearly and correctly assessed the size of transport we needed and timescale - even finished earlier than expected! Smile took the stress out of the move and made the whole experience hassle-free. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The job was arranged extremely quickly and easily with little inconvenience to myself. The company was responsive over the Christmas period. This was a relatively easy job within London but previously I have used them nationwide where they have also been excellent. On the day of this job, the two removal men were super easy to deal with and wasted absolutely no time, which was good because we were being charged an hourly rate. They took control and nothing was too much bother. I would thoroughly recommend Smile Moves and will use them again.

I have successfully used Smile Moves for 4 x moves in the last 2 years.  I met them when another removal company failed to turn up as booked on the day of my removal.  I was recommended and rang them in a complete state of panic in disbelief that another company were not able to come as planned.  Smile Moves helped me within 1 hour of my call. Since then I have always used them for my many moves and am so happy to be able to recommend them to all my friends and family. Moving is a stressful time and Smile Moves completely take the stress out of this by being so helpful, friendly and efficient both prior to the move and on the day. Boxes and packing items were delivered to me on my day of choice beforehand (I opted out of any packing help but will certainly use this service next time) and on the day the removal men were just a pleasure to have in my home. Polite, kind, helpful and friendly - they made what could have been a stressful day into a positive and easy day.  I cannot recommend this company highly enough - for small one bedroom flat moves to large 6 x bedroom house moves.  They are equipped for all types of properties and I am just delighted to have found them as are all my friends and family.

We recently used Smile Moves to put the majority of our household contents in storage whilst we were doing some building works. They were an absolute delight to work with - they came and packed everything beautifully and took it away.
The lorries came back last weekend with the same removal men who brought everything back. They were a pleasure to work with - good-humoured and very careful with all of our furniture. We have unpacked almost everything - no breakages whatsoever and all in perfect condition.
I have moved (too) many times and I can't recommend Simon and Smile Moves highly enough!

Smile Moves moved our belongings out of storage into a new house. Simon from Smile Moves was very pleasant and professional to deal with - the quote was accurate and the invoice was sent promptly. The team on the day were great - they were on time, they moved everything carefully, they were fast, and were happy to assemble a bed for me. They were also very friendly! I wouldn't hesitate to use Smile Moves again or to recommend to anyone. They were also very good value and better value than some quotes I received.

Simon was friendly and honest from the outset, taking the time to talk through everything and reassuring us that our needs would be taken care of with no hidden costs.
True to his word, the team were on time, worked efficiently and speedily moved all our belongings to our new home.
Absolutely everything arrived intact and everything was placed exactly where we needed it, making our move seamless and stress-free.
To top it off, his quote was amongst the most competetive out there.
I could not recommend Smile Moves enough.
Now if only moving our internet service was as simple!!

A fantastic removal experience, couldn't fault it in anyway. We were pretty nervous about the removal day itself but in retrospect there was no need for this as we were in safe hands. From the point of first contact with Simon coming round to do the quote in person, to the day itself, when the removal was seamless, the whole process was very impressive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends, and will definitely keep the number for any future moves. Cheers guys!!

Simon and his boys carried or a pretty big move for us at the beginning of June (three bedroom house, full of stuff to bigger house two miles up the road). the day before we moved they packed for us. All done with little fuss and no breakages. They labeled the boxes well too, which was useful at the other end. The move itself was done as dusted by late afternoon. They worked their backs during the day. Really nice chaps. Price was good. 2/3 of any other quotes we received. I'd recommend smile to anyone.

Smile were very good. Simon - the sales rep - was clear and polite without being pushy. When I needed to double check a few things, he was responsive and quick. The movers were superb. They rang ahead to see if they could turn up early - and I was fine with that; they were careful, friendly, and swift loading the van. At the other end, they worked around the problems with on-street parking well and were swift at the other end, too. We were done well within time, and it made moving my flat so much more bearable; one of the easiest invoices I've paid. Would definitely recommend Smile.

We were recommended Smile Moves by friends and were not disappointed by the service we received. We were given a prompt and detailed quote for our move from a 4 bed house.We opted for the full pack and remove service. Simon, the boss attended himself with a colleague and spent a day packing our belongings. A team of 4 attended early the following morning and worked all day without hardly taking a break. We were amazed at how efficiently and professionally they worked manoeuvring a large amount of heavy goods and reassembling them at our new house with such ease. All 4 were very pleasant and polite throughout the day. We have no hesitation in recommending Smile Moves.

Professional and great work ethic. Even though we lived on top floor without a lift, the team had absolutely no concerns. They were diligent, organised and very efficient. Nothing broken and completed early. From the quotation to the moving day itself everything was
professional and to the highest standard.
The removal chaps themselves were fantastic. Friendly and efficient, explaining what they were doing during every step.

I cannot fault this company & service - everything was smooth sailing from the word go. Simon provided a quick initial quote, easy to work with around availability and moving dates, and Alex & Brian were true hero's on the day. How someone can move all those boxes, furniture etc up and down stairs for 10 hours whilst continuously smiling is beyond me! Used this website to find Smile Moves and I would thoroughly recommend using this service. Very good value offering, extremely professional employees, and trustworthy. They helped to make the whole process a lot smoother, and were efficient and quick in their work. Nothing was too much trouble; the owner even went above and beyond and delivered extra boxes and bubble wrap to us the night before when we ran out, which was very much appreciated. Used Smile Moves 4 years ago. They managed to get our copious amount of belongings from our 3 bedroom house into our new 4 beds plus garage on 3 floors home, with everything set up and ready for us to spend our first night. My kids were quite young and at school on the day of the move, but all was ready at their bedtime.Everything was securely packed and helpfully labelled making it much easier for unpacking. They were great with the kids too, who inevitably were intrigued by the speed our belongings disappeared into boxes. Friendly, professional, used appropriate packing and moving materials, no damage to furniture, glass/china, belongings, carpets or walls. Also cleared out our shed and garage, which was off site. Now used them again to help clear my Mum's house. Lots of lovely glass and china carefully packed, and antique furniture all cared for. They had numerous drop offs for items, and I was able to leave them to it when items were moved into storage. Very competitive quotes on both occasions, able to deal with complex move arrangements and flexible. Have recommended to friends, and was so impressed the first time, I went straight to them for this second move.

Smile Moves lived up to their name when they moved me recently from London to Dundee. They managed to keep a smile on my face throughout what could so easily have been a very stressful experience. Simon was helpful from the start with the administration side of things and I couldn't fault his team who were so hard-working, efficient and cheerful over the two day period. All my furniture and belongings arrived intact (I requested the packing service) it all happened within the timescale that had been laid down beforehand and there were lots of laughs along the way. Smile Moves were recommended to me by a friend and I would have no hesitation in doing the same.

Simon and his team did a super-efficient job of packing our five-bedroom house and even moved some items to the next property (1.5 miles away) on Day 1. The move on Day 2 went just as smoothly, and with good humour, despite a cloud burst while the van was being packed and us having more stuff packed in boxes from a previous move, 11 months ago, than Simon had estimated. A couple of minor breakages - the leg joint on an Ikea kitchen table got snapped, and a wall light got knocked to the floor while our king size mattress was being heaved up a very narrow staircase to the loft room. These were no real reflection on what was otherwise careful handling and we were grateful to be alerted to both breakages straight away. Overall, really good service - and good value. No catches. We would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Smile moves were accommodating when we had just one week’s notice of our completion date. Simon and his team worked hard to pack a huge amount accumulated over many years as we moved from a flat to a house in South London. They moved us over two days and were careful in the packing and handling of everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommended them, the team were cheerful and Simon’s quiet determination and packing skills kept it on track even when it became clear our cupboards and cellar contained more than expected.

Don’t think, just book. We had to organise a move very quickly for a three bed flat to a three bed house and I was very worried that I’d done no prep (if you popped by the day before we moved you’d think we were never moving) but the crew arrived on time, packed swiftly and carefully (no breakages) and as they are all native English speakers - the boxes were labelled so well and put into our new home in such a logical order that the next day when we woke up looking for our card readers to pay the movers - we found it quickly (and there were over 90 boxes). Fantastic service, wonderful people and if I ever had to move again, without hesitation, I’d call Simon. The difference with him is that’s it’s his company, he shows up and makes everything seamless. Thanks a million guys!

I chose Smile Moves because they were local to me and I wanted to support local business. I am so glad I did.
Simon and his team were professional yet friendly from the word go. They accommodated specific requests, like sorting out the parking restrictions for me so I didn't have to do it.
I used the team to pack everything and they were extremely considerate and patient regarding how I wanted things packed for the other end. All my items were packed carefully and nothing was damaged.
They were good company on the day of packing and friendly and unstressed on the move day. They didn't make a fuss when I asked for items to be put elsewhere once delivered which is really important as you don't really know until your furniture is in how it will look.
We realised several garden items had been missed because I wasn't there to instruct. Even though it was late Simon went back to collect them all. He also went the following day and collected a wooden wendy house we had taken down and took that and a bin store to the tip for us. He has since been back to pick up boxes and has said he will collect the remainder when I have finished unpacking. I really couldn't fault them. I was a little nervous as the company I had used previously was highly recommended by my friends as well but I wasn't as pleased and I felt completely satisfied with the service given by Smile Moves.
