Very good team, extremely efficient. I was impressed at how quickly they got everything done. Great thing about having someone else pack is that there is no emotion - they don't spend ages trying to "sort" whilst they pack, or looking through old photos/books/trinket boxes as you would probably do yourself. The team asked very specifically what we did and didn't want packed - think about this in advance if you want anything at the top of the boxes when you arrive. They also, thoughtfully, left out any keys they found along the way in case we needed to leave them behind. Overall, I was very pleased with the service.

Simon, Norbert and team were brilliant from start to finish - the quote was very reasonable for a full packing and removal service. On the day, they were incredibly efficient and cheerful throughout. They arrived early. Everything was carefully wrapped and packed into logically labelled boxes which made unpacking at the other end easy.

They also dismantled and reassembled our furniture, thoughtfully constructing our baby's cot first so that we could put him to bed at his usual bedtime.

I'd thoroughly recommend Smile Moves.

This is the second time we have used Smile Moves and on both occasions we have been very happy with their service. For the most recent move from London to Fleet we also used their packing service, which was excellent and very good value for money. This avoids many of the problems faced when packing yourself. The dismantling and reassembly of furniture was particularly helpful.
The removal men were very professional and worked pretty much non-stop both days to get the move finished on time. They showed excellent flexibiliy and took great care with all our possessions with nothing broken or damaged. A superb and excelent small removals company.
A visit and discussion of needs and wants from the director, followed by a quote as well as packaging being dropped off.
The removal van was well equipped for very safe storage and transporting of mirrors and large sheets of glass/breakables.  The removals guys were happy to assist in removal and packaing of large, heavy wall-hung items.
On arrival, each item was delivered to the correct allocated room, with questions being asked if there was any doubt.  There was no issues of breakables or damage to the new property & the guys were more thyan willing to re-assemble beds, desks etc.
Overall a very freindly, efficient and professional service for a move across from S.E. to W. London.

We used Smile Moves twice - once when moving out of my flat at the end of 2015, and just last week (Feb 2016) when moving into my new home.

The guys that turned up both times were the same people - they were highly professional, helpful and even obliged to taking off their shoes when moving some of our heavy items upstairs, so as not to ruin our brand new carpet (though this isn't usually their policy for health and safety reasons).

I highly recommend these guys - cheaper than other companies, yet reliable, friendly and most importantly, they get the job done with no stress.

Hopefully I won't be moving again any time soon, but I'd definitely opt for these guys if I do!!

Used Smile Moves for a London to Brighton residential move via a pick-up in Surrey on Wednesday 3rd December. The two-man team Norbert & Robbie were bang on time and right from the go were friendly, considerate and efficient. Immediately put us at ease, worked hard, fast & with great care. Brilliant communication skills, fed-back frequently to clarify understanding. Having shopped around the price was competitive and the Director had clearly and correctly assessed the size of transport we needed and timescale - even finished earlier than expected! Smile took the stress out of the move and made the whole experience hassle-free. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The job was arranged extremely quickly and easily with little inconvenience to myself. The company was responsive over the Christmas period. This was a relatively easy job within London but previously I have used them nationwide where they have also been excellent. On the day of this job, the two removal men were super easy to deal with and wasted absolutely no time, which was good because we were being charged an hourly rate. They took control and nothing was too much bother. I would thoroughly recommend Smile Moves and will use them again.

I have successfully used Smile Moves for 4 x moves in the last 2 years.  I met them when another removal company failed to turn up as booked on the day of my removal.  I was recommended and rang them in a complete state of panic in disbelief that another company were not able to come as planned.  Smile Moves helped me within 1 hour of my call. Since then I have always used them for my many moves and am so happy to be able to recommend them to all my friends and family. Moving is a stressful time and Smile Moves completely take the stress out of this by being so helpful, friendly and efficient both prior to the move and on the day. Boxes and packing items were delivered to me on my day of choice beforehand (I opted out of any packing help but will certainly use this service next time) and on the day the removal men were just a pleasure to have in my home. Polite, kind, helpful and friendly - they made what could have been a stressful day into a positive and easy day.  I cannot recommend this company highly enough - for small one bedroom flat moves to large 6 x bedroom house moves.  They are equipped for all types of properties and I am just delighted to have found them as are all my friends and family.

Very good service.  Within 10 minutes of finding them via a search engine, Simon from Smile Moves had telephoned to estimate the quote.  That arrived within 24 hours. Despite having just 7 days’ notice, Smile Moves were not only able to move my considerable stuff, but did it efficiently and for a fixed price. They were more realistic than other companies who somehow thought that only 2 blokes and 1 van would be needed to shift 60 /70 crates of books, cd's and miscellaneous crap that I can't live without.
Smile Moves provided an excellent service on the day notwithstanding the chaos that greeted them. The 3 guys were cheerful, punctual and took good care of my stuff, which included an antique toy plane that they dealt with impeccably.  Despite the move taking longer than I think they anticipated, mainly due to a very slow lift and then getting stuck in rush our traffic en route to the new place, the Smile Moves team remained cheerful and professional.

I was very impressed with their service and am happy to recommend.

We were recommended Smile Moves by a family member who has been using them for their business for years. Upon contacting Smile Moves we were quickly able to arrange a quote and a move date at very short notice and all the boxes and bubble wrap etc were delivered to us on the same day that we agreed to go ahead.
The three men who did the move were prompt, very professional and friendly and helped to put my wife, who was heavily pregnant at ease. Our possessions were moved quickly and without any damage. 
Overall I cannot fault Smile Moves and would recommend them highly to anybody. My only minor complaint, is that the packing tape they supplied with the boxes was not particularly good and we ended up buying some different tape ourselves. That incredibly small niggle aside, we were overwhelmingly pleased with the service provided by Smile Moves and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. .

We recently used Smile Moves to put the majority of our household contents in storage whilst we were doing some building works. They were an absolute delight to work with - they came and packed everything beautifully and took it away.
The lorries came back last weekend with the same removal men who brought everything back. They were a pleasure to work with - good-humoured and very careful with all of our furniture. We have unpacked almost everything - no breakages whatsoever and all in perfect condition.
I have moved (too) many times and I can't recommend Simon and Smile Moves highly enough!

Smile Moves moved our belongings out of storage into a new house. Simon from Smile Moves was very pleasant and professional to deal with - the quote was accurate and the invoice was sent promptly. The team on the day were great - they were on time, they moved everything carefully, they were fast, and were happy to assemble a bed for me. They were also very friendly! I wouldn't hesitate to use Smile Moves again or to recommend to anyone. They were also very good value and better value than some quotes I received.

Simon was friendly and honest from the outset, taking the time to talk through everything and reassuring us that our needs would be taken care of with no hidden costs.
True to his word, the team were on time, worked efficiently and speedily moved all our belongings to our new home.
Absolutely everything arrived intact and everything was placed exactly where we needed it, making our move seamless and stress-free.
To top it off, his quote was amongst the most competetive out there.
I could not recommend Smile Moves enough.
Now if only moving our internet service was as simple!!
