(This was a local move, not long distance as described).

I was very upset in regard to how my move was managed by this company. I would not recommend them. On contacting the company for help after the move, I was met with an aggressive and argumentative manager which left me feeling intimidated and unable to raise the issues I experienced. The price was high considering the service we received and purchasing insurance made no difference in regard to missing and damaged items. The team was unprofessional, smoking on arrival, not covering floors and 'borrowing' my tools so they didn't have to go and get their own. I felt they had no respect for myself or my property. I feel I was ripped off in terms of cost and a promised professional service which did not transpire. Moving is already stressful enough, but these cowboys only added to that on every llevel.

CJS Removals are true professionals. It is clear their long term experience through their customer service. We had a big moved planned and their crew were very well trained, friendly, and looked after our things from London to Oxfordshire.

We used their furniture dismantling, reassembly service and local storage pick up service.

They were on time and went beyond their duty to make the move as smooth as possible. It is a family business to be proud of, I have already recommended to my neighbours.

I can't recommend CJS Removals highly enough.
From the moment Paul came to provide me with a quote - to the moment that the last piece of furniture came through the door of my new home - he and his team were thoroughly professional and nothing was too much trouble.
All our belongings were packed extremely carefully, and beds and other items of furniture that needed to be de-assembled, were taken apart and then expertly rebuilt at the new house.
I really appreciated the fact too that once boxes had been unpacked, they very quickly returned back to collect them and "get them out of my way". There's nothing worse than being surrounded by empty boxes!
Overall they provided an excellent end to end packing and removals service and i'd certainly recommend them. They really did take the stress out of - what can be - one of the most difficult and pressurised life events!

BRILLIANT !.. After several quotes from other companies we had a quote from CJS Removals , Paul Smith was very professional and friendly and gave great advice for our move suggesting spreading it over two days because of the distance.
Paul and his team we’re very fast and efficient and took great care with our possessions, nothing was to much trouble they made the move as stress free as possible. The next day they arrived in Dorset on time and got stuck in, they worked so hard they put things were ever we asked them all our possessions arrived with no damages. I cannot praise this company enough and would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. Thanks again to Paul and Charlie and all the CJS Team in the office.

I highly recommend Paul and his team at CJS Removals, they were very professional and accomodating to our needs.
It wasn't the easiest of office moves as we had to stay operational until after 5pm, but Paul and the team worked into the night to make sure we got the bulk of our office loaded up ready to start unloading at 8am the following morning.
I had to change plans several times in the weeks prior to the move and Paul was always more than understanding. With 130 people to move and a vast amount of IT equpitment we still had people working while others were packing up.
They had to suspend a parking bay as our new office wasn't the most accesable for lorrys - we didn't have to worry about anything as it was all taken care of.
Our move went extremely smoothly and in great time.
Compared to several other London removal companies they were very cost friendly.
Would defintely use CJS removals again.

Having has a stressful house purchase and completion that was postponed a couple of times I cannot praise Chloe, Paul and all at CJS for their understanding and support. Our move had to take place over three days, (Bedfordshire to Cornwall), it went like clockwork.
The removal team worked hard, but took care with everything, they were friendly, obliging and just a pleasure to work with. They took the stress of the move away.

We just wanted to write to say thank you for making the move go so smoothly. The guys were really friendly, helpful and hard working and provided and excellent service. The fragile packing service was especially impressive with everything packed safely and securely. It was a shame that we were delayed at the new house but once we were allowed in they worked hard and fast to get everything to the right room. We have been very impressed with CJS from the initial visit to the final move and would certainly recommend them in the future.

When someone does something well you just have to write about it and let others know.  After receiving a few quotes from various removal companies we settled on CJS based not only on price but also reviews read on line which were exemplary.  Well now I know why they were so good.  As soon as they arrived they just went to it,  the speed at which they wrapped was amazing but more importantly the way they wrapped was equally amazing, with not one item being vaguely damaged.  Even my sons shells which were meticulously wrapped individually!  The guys were all lovely really friendly and incredibly professional.  When we got to our destination yet again I was amazed by the speed at which they worked but also their attention to detail.  No walls, stairs or doors had any slight marks on when taking furniture upstairs and believe me they had to take some large pieces of furniture round some very tight bends!  We have only moved out for a short period as we are having building work done to our house and will be moving back within the coming year.  Would I try another company? Absolutely no way!

Great service and humour on a very cold and long day. We used them to pack fragiles and a member of the team arrived the day before exactly on time and packed all fragiles with great care. He also packed some of the non-fragiles as well. This really helped otherwise we would have been up all night packing. We had a team of 4 guys on moving day and the whole team were very professional and very helpful. Everything was moved with great care and diligence. They even cleared away some of our rubbish as well. My husband has used CJS 3 times before and promised me that they would not disappoint - and they did not!! Overall we were very pleased with CJS and would recommend them to anyone.

Quoting for job was fair, communiction re costing, packing and deliivery day all very good. Everything was made very clear and a lot of reassurance was given. I had full confidence in the company which was essential on the day of moving. The packing was done carefully and methodically so when I have come to unpacj I know where everything is. The movers were prompt and worked carefully and confidently and showed a lot of experience. Even at th epoint of picking up the used boxes they were efficient. I would highily recommend.

We moved from London to Frankfurt (Germany) last year. Paul and his team did a fantastic job: friendly, professional, doing everything they could to move our things safely and on time. Pickup was done reliably and fast, transport was on time, and in Frankfurt everything was unpacked and set up safely, fast, and with care. The price was very competitive compared with larger firms. We have had three different removals in the last few years, one for ourselves within England, one for my father within Germany and this one from one country to the next. In the other two moves we encountered all sorts of problems, lack of care, broken items, incorrect quotations. None of these problems we had with John and CJS: I recommend them without any reservation, whether you move within the UK or internationally.

CJS Removals were absolutely great regarding every aspect of my move.  Office staff were helpful and well-organised and extremely efficient with all the paperwork.  I received good advice and assistance in planning dates etc when exchange and completion were delayed; the girls taking the bookings were reassuring and competent. The team provided a careful, speedy packing service, boxes all neatly labelled with items carefully wrapped and protected and loading and unloading was done swiftly with the minimum of fuss. It took all the stress out of the move and the removal men were so friendly and cheerful on the day; the service could not have been better and so I will definitely be  recommending CJS  to friends, family and colleagues. We moved from West London to central Bath. George Bird Removals & Storage provided the most competitive quote of the firms that we contacted. They provided an excellent, polite and efficient service. Furniture and effects were packed well and in a timely manner beforehand and all of the staff involved in our move worked very hard to ensure timely delivery. We had no damage to any of our belongings whatsoever either. We would definitely use them again for any further moves. The best removals experience that we have had so far.

Swansea is the nearest place on the drop down list, but actually, they negotiated a destination in the depths of Wales down a long track and where the goods needed dispersing into several buildings. They arrived on time, and all was done efficiently by two very pleasant removals people.  30 days earlier they picked up half our belongings and moved them to a different address in London, so our stuff had to be packed for two destinations. Everything arrived in the correct place and nothing has been broken. I couldn't recommend them more.

Our recent house move was a difficult process - after months of dates moving before we finally agreed on completion, CJS moved us Monday 27th January.   CJS were not only patient with the changing arrangements, but delivered exceptional service on the day. The team were skilled in handling difficult items, efficient, cheerful and a pleasure to have in the house.   When we arrived to our new home (where we found more problems than anticipated) they were considerate, sympathetic and even managed to cheer us up.   I doubt we will ever move again, however I recommend CJS to anyone considering a move.   We’re really grateful and CJS should be very proud of the moving team.

Totally professional and very competitively priced. Hire CJS Removals if you want experts on the job and a smooth, hassle-free move. I've used them twice and could not recommend them more highly. Most of the team have been with the company for 10 yrs - they're loyal and experienced and very pleasant and helpful. We are so happy we returned to them for our most recent move, showing us that these guys get it right every time. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

From start to finish CJS was a great firm to deal with. It is a family firm, so you get the personal service and attention to detail you associate with that kind of organisation, and they are experts in their field, very professional, and with years of experience.

The owner/managing director was prompt in providing a quote and - best of all - responded to any query I had very quickly by phone or email, even out of office hours: he took the stress out of moving.

The team who came to pack and remove my things were a joy: friendly, patient, hard-working, courteous, professional.

Basically, I got a great service for a good price and would recommend CJS to anyone.

The moving process with CJS removals was perfect. I received a flyer in the post and gave them a ring and they came out on the day and gave a quotation by immediate return, which I thought was very fair (£714), so I didn’t look elsewhere. They were good with providing information throughout the process and they arrived on time with 4 great people, who were polite, professional, efficient, thoughtful, humorous, hard working and they made the whole experience enjoyable. It gives me great pleasure to recommend CJS Removals to anyone wishing to move.
