House move - Professional, reliable and Resonable

We used colin and company for our house move. Colin is a top notch men of his word. He came to survey on the same day we call him even it was just week to go. His Service was excellent, reasonably priced, punctual and very very helpful. They followed every instruction from us and advised all the way. Plus boxes and tape etc was provided FOC was a bonus. defo recommended. Thank you

Moving to Cornwall

Changing places provided an excellent service for a move down to Cornwall. I had a partial packing service which was done with diligent care and attention for all things breakable.

They were prompt with communication, provided packing materials and boxes and were friendly and helpful throughout. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone moving home.

Excellent Experience

Colin and team were fantastic throughout the whole experience. From the initial quote visit, Colin was a clear communicator and we had a mutual understanding of requirements and expectations from day one. We opted to go for a packed service, and it was 100% the right choice. Colin’s team came the day before the move to wrap / protect, pack and label our whole house. No question was too much and we had no breakages! On the move day, it was much of the same, a slick process meaning we were on the road by noon, at the new house by 1.30pm and unloaded by 3pm.

I cannot emphasise how simple Changing Places made our move. Thank you team, fully recommend!!

House move

Colin and his team were very professional. They packed and wrapped everything efficiently. They loaded the vans which included lots of garden items and a full garage of clutter!

The team unloaded everything and put all our belongings in the rooms we asked them too. They made up our bed. They even bought me a coffee. I would highly recommend Colin and his professional friendly team.

Excellent local move

The Changing Places team was fully contactable and very helpful in making the arrangements for the move and providing packing materials in advance. They were honest and clear on the expected cost of the move which was very competitive and more cost effective when compared with our options. On the day, they took great care of our items and worked quickly and efficiently (actually coming in below budget due to their speed). They also dismantled and reassembled some larger pieces of furniture for us and did a great job. Would definitely recommend Changing Places.

Fair price, good communication and responsible company

Colin's team are on time and communicate well. The job is to move stuffs from storage in Hemel Hempstead to Stratford upon Avon.

Even though I m not at the pickup point, Colin has prepared all the paperwork (the confirmation letter from storage) and introduced me to his team in advance. So on the day of removal, things were going very smoothly and his team - Chris and other guy sent me pics of the stuffs they were taking to ensure things were taken correctly. All the fragile stuffs are well protected.

They do a very good job for fair price!

Local move from Kings Langley to Chipperfield

We contacted Colin for a quote to move us to our new home just before Christmas 2023. Colin called me & we arranged for him to come round to quote. He was very helpful & fully explained how his company could help us. He said he would email me with a quote later that day which he did. This qoute was very competitive. A date was set for 21st December and he said he would drop off some boxes & packaging materials so we could do our own packing.

A few days later he dropped off the first lot of boxes etc. More boxes were dropped off on the coming days.

On the moving day Colin & his team arrived and stated loading our boxes & furniture. Everything was packed onto the vans & went smoothly.

My wife went on ahead of our move for that she coul take delivery of new white goods.

I stayed on at our old home just to finish up cleaning & by the the time I arrived at our new home they were just finishing up the delivery.

All of our home had been safely delivered with no damage or breakages.

I can highly recommend Colin & his team for a first class professional removal job.

After a few quotes which included 18 tonne trucks and moving across 2 days. We decided to use Changing places as Colin was sure it could be done in a day with smaller trucks.

This turned out to be the correct decision as the move went very smoothly.

Colin and his team were hard working and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for a stress free move.

They were prompt and loaded everything quickly my quote included taking apart beds and wardrobes which was a godsend Colin provided me with all the boxes free of charge and made the stress of moving alot easier when we got the the new house everything come off into the correct rooms and nothing was damaged or broken.once unpacked a quick call to Coiln and he came the next day to pick up the boxes. would recommend you use these guys.

I have used them 3 times this year to move me out of and back in to my london house and more recently for a trip to cornwall!
they are always so professional, friendly, honest, reliable quick and effective. they dismantled and then rebuilt my furniture where needed, no fuss. on my London move it was a really late night and they never got grumpy or lost motivation, always smiling.

Fab company highly recommended.

From the beginning of the process, Colin was brilliant. Kept us informed and nothing was too much trouble either in the run up or on the day. The day itself went smoothly and in no time at all we were in our new house, everything in the rooms asked for. if you want no stress, with a company that goes the extra mile for you, this is the one.
all the boxes were included in the price and we used a lot. When another team from the same company had finished a different job they all popped over to speed everything up, cannot recommend highly enough!!,.
