I invited Mr Hosier to my home to quote for a removal service and packing service from Watford to Milton Keynes. He quoted promptly by e-mail as requested but more 1,400 more expensive than Supamoves who was my alternate company quoting for the job. Mr Hosier then asked my by text if I had received his quote, telling me he was still interested in the job which I found a little odd. When I explained that I would go with Supamoves due to the price being considerably lower for the same service, insurance, and customer reviews Mr Hosier proceeded to insinuate that I should not have invited him to quote at all, I actually feel quite intimidated by his attitude, his use of my private phone text facility to badger me and general overbearing demeanour. I urge you if you are a woman alone or looking for a no strings quote not to go to this company. Please find below text exchange between Mr Hosier and myself following the initial quote: Mr H: Did you get the quote?? Very keen still about the job? Me: I did, thank you very much for the speedy turnaround, unfortunately the other quote I had was considerably lower. I'm sorry but I will be going for the other company as they are also established, fully insured and have published positive testimonials. Once again many thanks for your interest. Mr H: I too have published testimonials but if you had made up your mind before I came round I am extremely disappointed that you let me come round and quoted Me: I'm sorry that you feel that I had made up my mind before you arrived. I had not, but as I explained the other quote I had was considerably lower, for what appears to be the same quality of service. How you thought I could have made the comparison on price before receiving your quote is beyond me. Please try for future customers to remember that this is business and petty, ill-informed comments like the one you have just made are beneath you in the professional environment. Please do not contact me again. Mr H: Tough.

Would wholeheartedly recommend Colin and his A-team for their house removal service! He squeezed us in on what was already an extremely busy week for him and for a large job moving from Hemel Hempstead to 2 sites in Cheshire (a storage unit and a home). Packing materials were provided in advance of our move which were much appreciated and on move-day they were punctual, courteous and determined to do a good job. The quote was really competitive compared to others that we had received and Colin and the team managed to do the whole job in one day which was great!

Colin and his team moved us a few days ago and were fab!

The team arrived on time and were careful with all our belongings (and nothing is broken the other side!)

We had to wait a few hours between the house being packed up to getting the completion notice and the keys to the new house but the team were patient and ready to start unloading as soon as we had the keys!

All packing materials and boxes were included in the price and if we needed more that wasn’t an issue.

Colin was so helpful and easy to contact and even though our date kept changing, he did his best to accommodate us and make everything less stressful!

They turned up on time and had a positive attitude. They also had great communication with us.

They got the job done promptly and professionally. I feel they took great care of our belongings and were understanding of our situation (we had a sleeping newborn in one of the rooms)!

Prior to the move, Colin came round and dropped off packing materials which was super helpful. We also had great communication there and overall a great price.

Moving Places was recommended to me by a colleague, I couldn't be happier with their services.

Colin and his team worked exceptionally hard to pack and move our very cluttered home. It was all during the July heatwave yet they remained cool, calm and collected.

I used their full packing option; there wasn't a single issue with lost or broken items. The packing materials are reusable,recycled and plastic free too!

Colin communicated regularly and tthoroughly. I can see why they were recommended and I'll be doing the same!

Colin and his team moved me last week and they were excellent.

During the move, Colin and the team were polite and efficient and moved all of my belongings safely up two flight of stairs with no lift!

Colin helped me out at short notice when another company I'd planned to use let me down.  He and his team were 100% reliable and did everything they said they'd do on time.  Colin supplied plenty of boxes free of charge plus packing materials and tape and delivered them within 48 hours of booking.  On the day his team worked really hard and got the job done very quickly so that it cost less money and took less time than the quote.  They took good care of all my possessions and were friendly and helpful.  I will be recommending them to my local friends.

I have used this company twice in the last few years and both times they have been consistent with really good service. They stuck to their quote. They were fast, friendly and very courteous. If I move again, I would certainly be using them. It was nice to have the same gentleman that visited the property attending the house move. This always fills you with confidence. I also ran out of boxes whilst I was packing but it wasn't any trouble at all for Colin to drop more boxes and tape round.

I cannot fault the service that we received from Colin and his team.

Colin came to our house to see how much stuff we had to move, and estimate the size of van required and number of men needed. He also provided us with many boxes, including wardrobe boxes, plus materials like marker pens and tape.

On moving day, the team arrived at bang on 9 o'clock as agreed. Everything was packed up by 12, including dismantling 3 pieces of furniture. We got the keys at 1, and by 3.30 everything was in the new house, in the right rooms, and all the dismantled furniture had been reassembled.

The whole team were wonderfully friendly and efficient. Everything arrived in good condition. I was very impressed by how fast and efficient the team were, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

I moved from Harpenden in Hertfordshire to New Mills in High Peak, Derbyshire last Summer.I found the experience from start to finish brilliant. I found this removals firm  was quoting me the best price by a considerable margin but felt completely at ease after speaking with Colin explaining he would be putting all my goods into storage at the other end. There was no letters and  flyers being sent out to me which I was very happy about unlike many other firms. On the day of the move they arrived early and got straight on with the job. They packed the truck well so all my goods were secure for travelling and used blankets to protect furniture. They completed the loading promptly and then set off to my destination not wasting any time. The unloading was swiftly transferred into the storage rooms and throughout they were hard working and courteous. I recommend  CHANGING PLACES REMOVALS for all your removals,100%.

Our experience with Changing places was superb. They came round and provided a free of charge quote and then provided all of our boxes free of charge (we packed ourselves) and were helpful with all of our questions and concerns. On the day they were extremely polite and helpful. They also picked up items from two other addresses for us. They had no complaints but got straight on with the job. They were extremely fast and efficient at getting our boxes and furniture out of the house in good time. They were careful with all our items. When we arrived at the new property they checked exactly where we wanted each item and box. They unloaded all of our items with great speed giving us lots of time in the afternoon to unpack the boxes and enjoy our new home!
