We cannot speak highly enough about Colin and the team. From the initial visit to assess our needs, through several queries, delivery of packing materials (including a top-up) and the move itself, Colin provided clear and accurate information, kept us updated over timings and then moved our belongings out of a 4 bedroom house in about 3 hours, and into our new home in about 2 hours. Even our heavy books and super-heavy vinyl record collection were handled with care. Very good price too!

We did a long distance move from Hertfordshire to Dorset and it went so smoothly thanks to the Changing Places Removals team. Changing Places were simply amazing! Colin was very friendly. He kept me informed throughout; provided me with with everything I needed particularly boxes and all this at a very good price. I had quotes from two other removal companies and they were almost double the price. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys: they were very helpful when I had to dispose of a sofa last minute and they were very patient as there was a horrendously long delay waiting for funds to come through. Colin and his team are fantastic! We had a bit of a mare around exchange, a date was provisionally agreed and then changed. Colin was happy to stay in contact and let us know his availability. We spoke weekly and he always listened to my rants about what was going on.

On completion day we had a further mare but his team were so patient while we were waiting for our keys.

If you want a stress free experience on moving day and more importantly people you can have a laugh with, look no further!

The personal touch was so important to us and changing places certainly offer that.

We have never used a removal firm before and had resigned ourselves to trying to manage alone after receiving an insanely high quote from another removal company near Hemel. We called Colin as a last attempt to find something more reasonable, and we are so pleased that we did! Everything went according to plan and the removal men were friendly, helpful and a real pleasure to have around. They arrived at 8.30am and we were all moved and unloaded before midday! If down to earth, reliable and affordable service is what you are looking for, we'd recommend Colin and his team.

Really excellent service. I needed a move last minute and Colin was fantastic, arranging a whole removal service in 2 days and providing boxes and packing materials so I could pack everything up. On the day the team were efficient and highly professional at all times, navigating moving everything up a sloped garden, including a piano which they moved with absolute care despite it being very heavy. The team then packed everything into the storage unit perfectly, making sure everything was secure and protected.

I’ve moved a number of times and this company is definitely the best I have ever used - highly recommend and will be using again. Thank you very much.

Colin and the Team , moved the Contents of our House in Hertfordshire to a Storage Unit in Gloucester, a few days ago. It was Stress-Free and efficient. I felt at ease , as a woman alone , with the packing up , and the Boys were all easy to talk to , and very efficient . My husband met the 2 small lorries at Gloucester , and everything was packed in a meticulous way . Items near to the door , were things that my husband wanted access to . I highly recommend Colin and the Team, as they are prepared to do Long Distance . Cheshunt Hertfordshire to Gloucester is 115 miles . 2 small lorries , full to the brim £1140. Our precious Old Charm Furniture , was treated with the greatest respect.

Colin and his team moved a week ago and provided a brilliant service.

Colin and his team moved us a week ago, they arrived promptly and were efficient at getting the house emptied. We had quite a long wait before we could get into our new home but the team were ready and waiting and got started unloading as soon as was possible.

We were provided with boxes as we needed them and Colin collected them again a week after the move. Furniture was dismantled as required and put back together at the other end. It was easy to keep in touch with Colin prior to the move to make sure everything went smoothly on the day.

I would like to say Colin and his team did a fantastic move of my property. Him and his team were very polite and hard working in the packing of my house. After several failed completion dates Colin was very understanding and worked his busy schedule to accommodate my needs to move with short notice. His communication was excellent. On moving day the weather was torrential rain and they worked really hard keeping my belonging dry and never complaining. Him and his team made a stressful thing joyful and up beat. I would use him again.

Colin and his team were an absolute joy to work with. We moved a 3 bed house to a 5 bed house a little over 1km away. We had a few issues with other people moving to and from both properties and the team were very patient and accommodating to the changes in their plan.

It's safe to say we have outgrown the 3 bed property so we had a lot of stuff to move. They had a really long day and they were still cheerful and joking right to the end.

All of our possessions have survived the move as they were packed very carefully by the team. Even better, they provided and will reuse the boxes and packaging which is great for the environment.

We can't thank them enough for making a stressful day that much easier.

I can't thank Colin and his team enough for their excellent service in helping us move from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom house recently.

From getting our quote right through to them collecting our empty boxes once we had unpacked, the guys were friendly, hard working, patient and very efficient. As well as moving all of our stuff, they also disembled and reassembled our beds, which was very helpful and took a lot of stress away.

Their quote was very competitive and I have no hesitations in recommending their services.

Excellent service. Colin fitted me in at short notice and was really flexible. His team on the day were quick and efficient. At our destination there were brand new carpets upstairs and they took their shoes off each time they went up, which I was so grateful for. I had some big items to move and this was all done with no damage to the walls. Colin was always so accommodating, bringing extra boxes when I needed and collecting them as soon as I had unpacked and texted him. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Would highly recommend Colin, Neil and the team. We moved from a 4 bed house to a 3 bed house and Colin and his team did an amazing service for which I could not fault. the best thing was Colin’s patience and understanding when the move was looking unlikely to happen for the date I booked and I know other companies would have charged me a lot of money to cancel. It turns out we got our date but it was literally last minute and Colin was amazing with the fact things kept changing daily but he was very approachable and understanding with the situation. That in it self was worth its weight in gold and the overall price was the best we was quoted by numerous companies. Again would highly recommend and will be using him again should I move again in the future.
