Colin and the rest of the team at Changing Places were excellent and made the moving day hassle free. We were able to let them get on with things with complete confidence. Colin was helpful, professional and a useful support during the moving process. He dropped round boxes free of charge well in advance of the move, was punctual on the day and him and his men were very careful with all boxes and furniture. He was flexible and patient when having to pick up keys and good value compared to both local and national companies. I can’t recommend Colin enough and wish all companies in the moving process were as professional as Changing Places.

Colin and his team oversaw my recent removal and were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. It was a fairly complicated job, with the contents of my 3-bed house being moved out, stored for 2 months and then moved in to a new property but Changing Places completed the work with the minimum of fuss and always with a smile on their faces. Colin's communication was clear and quick, the quote I received was uncomplicated and didn't change, and I thought they represented excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again if need be.

We moved a two bed flat (first floor) into a three bed house in Hemel . Colin came round to see our flat before giving us a quote, so knew exactly what was being moved. They dropped off all the boxes we needed a week in advance at no extra cost. In moving day the two guys showed up bang on time and worked solidly without a break until everything was moved. Throughout they were professional and courteous, and completed the job faster than predicted so charged us less. Would definitely recommend and would use again. Awesome.

Colin and his team moved us from Wiltshire into storage in Luton in April 2014. They also moved us from herts to Wiltshire in July 2012.

I can honestly say that they are a great bunch and would highly recommend them. Before the move Colin provided boxes, wardrobe boxes & bubble wrap. He kept in touch and nothing seed to be too much trouble. On the day of the move Colin and the team arrived on time and got straight to work. They are professional and courteous. The vans were loaded in no time at all (they really are quick), nothing was damaged in any way. When we arrived at the storage unit it was rather small and we are not sure if everything was going to fit in. The lads really went out if there way and took more time than they had planned and somehow managed to create enough space and squeezed everything into the unit. They went out of their way make sure that we didn't have to upgrade to a larger unit.

They work hard and with a welcoming attitude and great sense of humour. They made a stressful day much less stressful and I would recommend them to anyone. They represent fantastic value for money.

Colin at Changing Places Removals was great from start to finish for our move from a Watford storage facility to Milton Keynes. Prompt and friendly responses to emails, competitive pricing and a quick but careful move on the day (despite a difficult start due to Watford being gridlocked because of flooding). Would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks guys!
On a separate note, this review site is quite hopeless! I'm only typing this because it's demanding a longer review from me. And why are Watford and Milton Keynes not options? Tsk.

Changing Places were absolutely professional in their whole approach to our move. Colin Hosier could not have been more helpful in our preparation. He visited our house three times to deliver boxes, wrapping material and finally wardrobe boxes.

On the day his staff were friendly, efficient and oh so helpful. They disassembled pieces of furniture that I had overlooked on size and manourvrability and reassembled them at our new home, no problem, no fuss. The packing of the van was so professional and they even loaded my workshop equipment which was bulky and plentiful. They had a spare van in attendance in case we overloaded.

Changing places get my highest recommendation. Brilliant.

Colin and his team of two chaps were very hard working and effficient throughout our move. They were reasonably priced, good value for money and did every thing we asked them to do. Colin delivered packing materials in advance and were helpful in taking apart furniture unscheduled which we couldn't get out of our Flat. We would definitely recommend for a professional competitively priced service. Minor damage to an item of furniture which we did not notice until a week or so after the move but not an issue we are pursuing through insurance.

Move from Hemel Hempstead to Flitwick (had to put Watford to Milton Keynes, as these were the closest I could find in the lists) went smoothly, involving pick ups at our flat and a storage location. This was no bother and the team of three were well organised and took care not to damage anything. They worked very hard and went about it in a friendly manner, so the whole process was completed by mid-afternoon. There were some heavy items to move upstairs, but it was all achieved without too much bother. I would recommend Changing Places Removals and found their pricing to be reasonable.

We moved over 200 miles from a crammed mobile home to a two storey house and Colin and his team were excellent. Throughout a very long day they remained cheerful, efficient and willing to go the extra mile in every sense, including struggling to fit a mini-Kew Gardens into the lorry. They were still carrying heavy furniture upstairs at 6.00 in the evening without complaint, after a five hour drive up the motorway. Colin gave us a very competitive quote, delivered huge quantities of boxes and extra packaging on request, always responded to our queries and kept his word. It was a stressful move for us, leaving where we had lived for over thirty years and starting afresh in our sixties, and Changing Places helped make the transition on the day itself a lot easier. We would unhesitatingly recommend them.

Moved from Berkhamsted to Cambridge, Colin and team arrived in the morning and were very professional, working around our escaping cat and sleeping baby! Although possessions didn't quite fit in van, Colin arranged another van at short notice which didn't really add any time onto the move and they arrived at the new house before we did already unloaded. They also dismantled and fit together our bed, more than pickfords did at almost double the price! Would highly recommend, and definitely use again if we could! Thanks Colin and team!

Our move was from a sixth floor apartment to a house in Hemel Hempstead, as well as collecting a lot of belongings that we had in storage. We were concerned that moving from the apartment would be problematic for removals teams and that we would have difficulty in booking someone.
On initially contacting Changing Places, Colin explained that he had previously moved people in/out of the same block before, so doing so would be no problem to him. Booking Changing Places was a very simple process.

The move itself went smoothly. Colin and his colleague Neil were helpful, patient and professional in carrying out the work.

The only downside was that the move took longer and cost a bit more than originally estimated. However, this may have been because I was not sufficiently clear about the amount of belongings we had to move.
