Colin was excellent from first contact to driving away. Very good communication and excellent help with planning including wrapping and box assistance. On the day, his team were efficient, hard working and very careful. We have some very high quality furniture and electronics so the extra packing and thought were very appreciated. We were done 1 hour ahead of schedule. They took direction well and were also good fun to chat to. Overall we had a great experience with Changing Places and would strongly recommend them to anyone needing a careful, diligent and professional service. Pricing is mid point compared to others and well worth it for the extra care taken.

Our completion date was 2 days before Xmas, Colin and his team arrived early and speedily loaded contents of our house. Due to solicitors delaying everything on the day, Colin and the team were extremely patient and waited at our new house until 4.30 when we eventually got the keys. Despite them having such a long and boring day hanging around, they completed the move without complaint. We were not charged any waiting time charges on top of the original rate quoted (some companies had quoted high charges if they had been delayed) and the rate was very reasonable. We would not hesitate in recomending this company.

Colin arrived on time to quote and he followed up quickly with a very competitive price. He and his team arrived early on my moving day - between Christmas and New Year 2016 - and kept working until everything was loaded. He and the team made it to Winchester without any breakages and helped us place the furniture exactly where we needed it. Helpful, reliable, hard working and good value! Changing Places Removals helped me deconstruct and reconstruct furniture, unplumbed a washing machine and got everything I needed in one Luton van load. Perfect!

We recently moved from Hemel Hempstead to Coleford in Gloucestershire.Colin and the team from Changing Places Removals were excellent from start to finish.In the two weeks leading up to the move we had a couple of possible completion dates, and Colin was very supportive in trying to fit us in at a busy time. As it happened, we exchanged contracts and completed the next day, and Changing Places Removals were there for us on time. The move went very smoothly, and relatively stress free thanks to Colin and the team. We highly recommend Changing Places Removals.

We was recently moved by Colin, from Hemel Hempstead to Norfolk, if was a bit hit and miss with completion dates but Colin was always patient and helpful.
On moving day Colin and his team arrived with two vans as agreed punctual and professional, a great team who worked non stop, but still being polite and chatty, nothing was too much trouble.
They ensured our move was smooth and stress free and we can't thank them enough.

I contacted Changing Places just three days before moving house and spoke to Colin the Owner. He was very responsive and helpful and given the very short timescales offered assurances he would be able to assist with our 28 mile move North and for a competitive price too!

On moving day, Chris and Jay arrived promptly, were extremely polite and explained the plan of the day. Shortly after, Neil and Colin arrived in a further two vans. They provided floor runners (thanks Chris) throughout the property and treated my exiting house and furniture with care. The same courtesy was provided at the new property. The two weeks leading up to moving day had been very stressful but these guys just made our actual move day a calm and pleasant experience. It’s was such a pleasure speaking to you all. I would highly recommend Colin and the team to anyone moving home.

We asked for estimates/quotes from several companies and Changing Places was very competitive. We also felt that Colin had assessed our requirements most accurately and realistically e.g. others were suggesting a 2 day move was necessary ( from Hemel H to Rugby) and Colin knew it could easily be done in 1 day. We felt that was correct, as we had little furniture but a reasonable pile of belongings. The team of 4 arrived at 8.15 a.m. and were heading for the M1 by 11.30 a.m. A team of 3 unloaded swiftly and carefully and headed back to Hemel before dusk. There were no breakages and no damage to the fabric of either our old or new homes. We were very pleased.
Throughout, Colin was very pleasant to deal with. Boxes and packaging materials were delivered as we requested them. Dates were provisionally booked and cancelled and re-booked and Colin was always very understanding.
We wish Colin and team all the best - they are good and hard workers - they deserve to prosper. Many thanks Colin and apologies that this review did not get done immediately. Bob and Wanda.

I can not recommended these guys highly enough. After getting quotes from other companies I was recommended Changing Places from a neighbour. Colin came round with a quote the same day I spoke with him and I liked him straight away. He also gave a great price which I excepted. The guys turned up on time on the moving day and with my little help they made the move easy and with no stress!! All large items were wrapped up well and I'm pleased to say nothing at all was broken or scratched.

The move was the least stressful experience I had, the team was great. They were very careful with all our stuff and placed everything in place as I have asked. Also everything was done quickly and clean. I would recommend this company to anyone I know. The company was great in all communication and replied all our enquiries from quote to moving date which has changed several times prior to completing on our house.We have used Changing places for three moves already Which proves how happy we were with their services.

We booked Changing Places for our move from Berkhamsted, Herts to nearby Bucks (not London to Oxford - this site only gives you about 10 location options!) and would definitely use them again. Colin and has team were prompt, courteous, careful, friendly and the service was excellent value for money. We were moving in a relatively short space of time and weren't able to pack everything up in advance, so selected the full 'pack and move' service. Aside from half a dozen boxes, Colin and his team packed up everything - and dismantled/reassembled all our bulky furniture (beds, drawers, cots, wardrobes etc) for us. This service cost a little extra, but we'd never do anything else again! It took all the stress out of the move and meant that, just hours after leaving our old house, everything was in place and fully assembled at the other end!  The Changing Places team were fast, polite and actually very good company, taking the stress out of a very stressful day.  Colin even popped round a week after our move to kindly pick up all the boxes and packing materials we had finished with, to save us a trip to the dump! All in all, our experience with Changing Places couldn't have been much better. They looked after us - and all our belongings - very well and made moving house almost enjoyable..which is something I never thought possible!

I was a little concerned as I hadn't used the company before and like most movers, really didn't want anything to add to what was already going to be a stressful time. Colin seemed very upfront & on the basis of this I decided to use him. (I had initially decided to use another company, but when comparing reviews, 'Changing Places' had a much better record - the other company was 'mixed' at best). I needn't have worried about anything as on the day, Colin's team were polite, fast, careful & completely professional.  I would happily use Changing Places Removals again & would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting a stress free move..

Colin and his team were fantastic.. Colin is a very nice chap and couldn't have been more helpful as we had to push back our move by a 6 days. when we did move the team were excellent, quick, careful and took care in how all the furniture was loaded. They pointed out exisiting marks and damage which is really helpul to prevent you thinking they have damaged it. The guys were great, worked hard and put up with the terrible London traffic and got the job done for us. Will deffinatley use them again, hopefully we won't be moving for a few years..

I was very pleased to get a quote from Colin and have changing places conduct my move. I only needed a 'man in a van' style removal but having searched for too long to find one in London I trusted, I knew Colin was right for me. Everything was arranged and I gave him a call to confirm everything a couple of weeks before the move. He was very polite. On the day of the move everything went smoothly and he kept me informed of his arrival time. Loading of the van was easy and we then set off. I really enjoyed talking to Colin the whole way to Bristol, he's a very nice guy! The dropping off took no time at all and it was all finished. No stress, no extra charges, no parking charges. All included. I will definitely be using Colin again!
