William B. Meyer

In preparation of moving residences I contacted William B Meyer, among others, to provide us with a written quote for our moving needs. Mr. Tom Burke, DistrictManager, arrived at my home to discuss my needs. We found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. He provided us with a quote within hours of our meeting and the numbers were very competitive with other quotes we had obtained. Our comfort level with Tom Burke however, was the deciding factor.

From that moment forward and in dealing with other staff at William B Meyer we knew we had made the right choice. Once we became a customer we were immediately contacted by Debbie Rivera, one of our move coordinators. She was and is such a pleasure to speak with and she explained the process moving forward. Then we received a call from Tesha Shipp, move coordinator. She was equally as friendly, knowledgeable and courteous as the others we had spoken with. What an extreme pleasure dealing with these individuals especially when moving is such a stressful time. This was our 15th move, yes 15th. So we have been through this process. William B Meyer, by far, out performed any other moving companies we have used in the past. Exceeded our expectations.

A special mention to Frank Diaz, our crew chief. He and his staff were excellent and worked very hard to insure our move was handled appropriately. They paid special attention to details and placed all items/boxes exactly where we wanted them to be.

Thank you to William B Meyer and their entire staff for making our move go as smoothly as possible. It meant a great deal to us. I will no doubt be happy to recommend this company to anyone who has moving needs.

We were extremely happy with our moving experience with William B Meyer Movers. Mike Pickwick did a great job giving us a very fair estimate & providing us with ample cartons & wardrobes. Izzy & his crew were the absolute best Movers, wrapped everything carefully, set everything down in it's proper place, nothing was damaged! The company is reliable, honest and did everything right! Debra Rivero was always available and extremely helpful! Would very strongly recommend this company!

I've worked with Bill Douma & Meyer moving for several moves (both myself & family/extended family) and cannot speak highly enough of them. Quick, professional, best packing even of the smallest glassware to dressers - everything made it to the new home quickly & completely undamaged. When we were done unpacking, they came back again and helped clean up all the boxes, paper wrapping, tape, etc. Honestly this was the easiest part of the entire move. Thank you!

Our Meyer packing and moving crew, Mike, Gus and Canti, arrived promptly, were very courteous, efficient and a pleasure to work with. We thank Bill, the move surveyor, and Dan our international move coordinator for launching our move from Brooklyn, NY to London, England. We hope that the shipping company and Meyer's partners in the UK continue to work as well as the Meyer team and we can look forward to being safely reunited with our "stuff" in London.

Our Meyer estimator, Bill Douma, did a solid job of esimtating so our team packing crew finished just a little ,ahead of schedule and, using small trucks given our driveway circumstances, worked 3 days in a row nonstop packing and then unloading into storage before the return. Paul Denzel, Jr., our crew chief was a very good communicator and manager. His crew did a very efficient job for a large pack and load. On the move-in,the crew was able to take one large truck plus a car and complete the move in in a single day with a large crew of 6. While a challenge to keep up, they did a great job. Finally, their local affiliate picked up a garage full of boxes about a month later saving us a large headache of disposing of them. Jennie Farnell, working in their office, was awesome checking on how things were going, responsive in discussing any plan changes, and discussing potential issues and she clearly genuinely cared about our experience and having a smooth move. Would recommend.

I used William B. Meyer to move from a 3 Bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. Bill Harner was my initial contact who provided me with the estimate. Tesha Shipp was my move coordinator who kept me updated, Paul Denzel Jr. was the crew chief, and I had a great group of crew members. Everyone was fantastic from start to finish! They kept me informed and answered any questions that I had. I was amazed by how quickly and smoothly everything went on move day. I received a follow-up phone call from Debbie Rivera to see how my move went. I'm moving to a condo in October, and have already scheduled my move with them. I highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Had one of the best experience while doing interstate move with Meyers from beginning to the end. Tom Burke was very patient in giving the estimate and changing the moving dates, Jennie Farrell was amazing to accommodate the last minute changes as well. On the day of moving what a amazing experience with Johnny Auguste coordinating all the move and constantly assuring us about the move, and keeping us updated through out the move. The things were delivered right on time, no damage to home and no damage/scratches to furniture. Love this company, the people and greatly recommend them for any long distance moves.
