I am not sure I even have the proper words to describe how EASY and PAINLESS the move was - believe me when I say I was in quite a state about the move, in part because I was doing it on my own. The professional and personalized care offered by the William B. Meyer staff  was just what I needed - I was no longer alone!

It started with Tom Burke, the estimator.  He phoned me back within a half hour of my placing the call and came over that very day to give me a firm price on the move.  Laura Meng, the move coordinator, checked in with me on a regular basis as did  Debra Rivera, admin.  (Deb even gave me a call a few days after the move to see how I was doing.)  Everyone was not just professional but very kind - they clearly sensed I needed some 'hand holding.'  

Steve Stone, crew chief, and William his assistant, were absolutely amazing.  Steve phoned as promised the night before with the time details. And, he called again the next day when he was thirty minutes from my home.  Right away Steve and William put me at my ease - I knew everything was going to be alright.  They easily and quickly moved my possessions onto the truck.

Steve and William showed up in Vermont at the promised time the next day.  They were cheerful during the entire process.  All my belongings arrived in perfect condition. When I asked for an opinion in placing some pieces they could even do that. I can say that Steve and William made the move FUN!!!!!  I am in their debt. Thank you!!!! Debby Scherrer

We moved from Milton, MA to Wilmington, NC and the whole process was easy with this company. Bill Douma, District Manager, provided a safe and accurate virtual estimate and also made sure we received packing materials well in advance. Jennie Farnell, our move coordinator, checked in from time time to make sure everything was on schedule. Jose Vargas was the crew chief on both ends and he was superb. Everyone we worked with responded quickly whenever we had questions before the move. We did most of the packing but the crew packed some fragile items and we were very grateful for that. The crew also dismantled beds and tables and put them together once the items were delivered. They were also very attentive to where we wanted items placed in NC. Everyone was professional and friendly, and kind. It is stressful to move and, at one point, Jose looked at me and said "It's all OK, don't worry, we've got this." He was terrific. We had three estimates and this was the least expensive and also included packing materials (the other companies said we had to get materials on our own). We could not have been happier with the entire experience. And nothing broke!

I appreciate, too, that the company seeks feedback and wants to make sure that they are doing their best for customers. I truly can't think of anything else I would have wanted from them. I highly recommend them for their experience, professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness, attentiveness to their customers, and follow through. I would absolutely use this company again.

We lived in our home for 32 years in Pound Ridge and needed help to South Salem,NY with a very short window. Our original mover could not help us and referred Wm. Meyers Moving and Storage. What a great recommendation! From my first contact with Debra Rivera to Bill Douma all was above and beyond all expectations. On moving day the crew were a god send. They had a sense of humor that helped in more ways than I can explain. They took care of our belongings like their own precious cargo. Our belongings are stored temporarily until our home is ready and when so, we will only use Wm Meyers and we want the same crew. Customer Service is so important and this company went above and beyond all expectations with such grace, empathy and kindness.

I recently sold the house I had lived in for 45 years. I wasn't sure where to start with the move. Meyers was highly recommended to me by a family member and it couldn't have worked out better. From the initial visit by Bill Harner to the coordination by Tesha Shipp to Frank Diaz and his crew, it was much less stressful than anticipated. Frank and his crew were amazing! Any and all questions/concerns were answered quickly and with a smile. Interim calls from Tesha and Debbie to be sure everything was going well were much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone anticipating a move, large or small. Thank you folks at Meyers!

From the first contact with Bill Harner coming to give our estimate and working with Tesha Shipp to coordinate the move this was a great company to work with.

We had some changes and delays along the way and Meyer's just kept working with us and willingly accommodated through every change.

Paul and Ethan showed up on a Friday morning to begin moving our stuff and couldn't have been more professional, efficient and friendly. After loading all of our stuff they drove to our new place with our belongings and waited hours outside on a very hot and humid day all as a result of a major screw up on our lender's part. As a we were unable to move into our new home on that day, they wound up leaving to bring all of our stuff back to the warehouse but not until after 6 PM. Paul gave me his cell phone number and telling me to call or text him if by chance we would be able to get into our new place on Saturday. If we were able, he was going to come and unload on Saturday. Unfortunately that didn't happen and we weren't able to get in until Monday.

When I spoke with Bill to reschedule the 2nd half of our move he said they wouldn't be able to do it until maybe the following week.

I called Paul who was on another job in New York and left him a VM and asked if there is anything he could do it would be much appreciated. When Paul called me back he said he would try to get our stuff to us on THAT DAY! He would have to go back to the warehouse, reload our stuff onto a truck and move it to our new place. He then called back and said he'd be able to deliver our stuff between 4 and 5 on that day.

Paul and Steven showed up around 5 PM and were once again very professional, friendly and efficient!! They had the truck unloaded and everything reassembled and in it's place by 6:30 PM! If it weren't for Paul's willingness to go above and beyond there's a good possibility we would still be waiting for our furniture to be delivered a week and a half later.

We cannot express enough our gratitude to Paul, Ethan, Steven, Tesha and Bill for all of their efforts to make our miserable experience much better because we were able to have our furniture in our new place and weren't going to be sleeping on air mattresses and eating off of snack tables.

I would recommend Meyer's to anyone looking for a good mover that is willing to do what it takes to their move done.

William B. Meyer movers were the best!!! Lead guy Rudy and his crew were professional, arrived on time, asked lots of questions to ensure my belongings went to correct rooms, worked together as a team, well oiled and coordinated!!

The moving coordinator, Tesha Shipp was excellent!! She communicated clearly, ensured all arrangements went as discussed and she actually answered my call before the start of a business day!!

I was super nervous moving from Massachusetts after 45 years in one one! Wiliam B Meyer moved me from my storage unit to my new home and not a single item was damaged!!
