The moving process began with Bill Douma leading me on a virtual tour of my home in New Jersey. I was impressed with the detail of Bill's subsequent quote. After we decided to go with Meyer, Debra Rivera contacted me and assigned Tesha Shipp as our move coordinator. They were both very helpful throughout the move. The moving guys - Kuba, Charles, Nick, Art and Jeff showed up and packed our 4 bedroom home on day 1, loaded the truck on day 2 and delivered to our new home in Connecticut on day 3. They were pleasant and efficient. Everything arrived intact and they did a great job of placing the furniture in the rooms where we wanted it to go. These guys were the best and I highly recommend Meyer!

Bill Harner came out to our home to review our belongings and give us an estimate. In addition, he provided many moving tips and helpful ideas to help us to prepare for moving day. Tesha Shipp was our personal moving coordinator. It was so nice to have an actual person to work with. We had a little snow on moving day, but the crew was fast and efficient. They arrived on time and came into the house to review what they had to put in the truck. The truck was packed quickly and care was taken with our posessions. Paul Denzel was the crew chief and he was great. All 3 of the movers were pleasant, professional and took great care moving us out of the old and into the new.

My experience was excellent from start to finish with William B. Meyer. Bill evaluated my belongings and provided an accurate quote while accommodating my schedule. Debbie coordinated my move seamlessly and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The moving crew showed up right on time and moved all of my items out while ensuring everything was packaged carefully. Mike was also an outstanding crew lead who kept excellent track of itemizing the entire move. This is the second time I’ve used William B. Meyer and I appreciate the consistency in terms of efficiency and customer service.

William B. Meyer company provided excellent quality service during all stages of our move. I initially discussed the overall moving and storage with Mike Pickwick (Sales/Operations) who provided good quality advice on how to segregate the items between trash and storage. He met with us on several occasions and was very instrumental in the overall organization of the process. Debra Rivera, HHG Administrative Assistant, then coordinated the overall scheduling and staffing of the moving team. She was very instrumental in making sure the customer was satisfied at all times. The moving team, headed up by Peter and his 2 staff were very professional and efficient throughout a very difficult and, at times, hostile setting. I highly recommend William B. Meyer and their team to consider your move.

I moved from Long Island, NY to Los Angeles, CA and I thought I would be stressed insanely with the big move especially accross the country, but Meyer made this move the smoothest one i've ever had. Bill Douma was very efficient with his work and the way he explained things were very clear. Debra Rivera and Tesha Shipp the moving coordinators are amazing and work so hard to make everything as smooth as possible, they alwahs were available during their schedules, and if not they would always call or send an email back immediately. Best Customer service that can be provided. Izzy Baez and all of his crew were amazing workers, they called with time to let us know when they would be arriving and plan ahead of time with us. They were on time as scheduled and during the packing of things they were fast and careful with every item. Crew was also very friendly and very hard working. The scheduled time of arrival of household goods was also very accurate and they called ahead of time for us to be able to plan the day when they start handing off our things. After everything is left at the destination Debra and Tesha made sure to call various times to confirm everything was in order also to check in with me and see that there were no problems with the items after they arrived.

Again Overall and outstanding service was received by this crew and I am very happy with my move.

My husband and I have used Willam B.Meyer, now Meyer Inc., for three different moves and would highly recommend them for a move. Their staff are extremely professional and easy to work with from initial discussions about the move in general, to scheduling the move, and the actual move itself. We are always impressed by the care of the movers with our furniture, and our floors, walls and doors. I used William B Meyer for an across the country move in the middle of covid. Needless to say, it was a complex move including packing of goods, short-term storage, long-term storage, apt move in/out, ceasing storage, move into home, and drop off at a furniture rehabber. That stressed me out just describing, but Bill D. and Deb R. ensured I understood the steps at each point, walked me through instructions, and got creative with solutions. There was one downside with the Chicago side damaging a table, but 24 months later when it was discovered, Deb was able to negotiate a generous solution. I would recommend William B. Meyer for any complicated or uncomplicated move!

Without question William B Meyer, out of Stratford Ct, has provided the finest moving experiences we could want. We have used them for several moves around the NewYork and New England areas and each move resulted in the same outstanding experience.

Whether the sales and and administrative support staff, including Bill Douma, Debra Rivera and Teisha or the actual moving team(s) headed by Paul , the service provided was completely professional, sensitive to our needs, courteous and always timely and as efficient as sizable moves can be. Although we hope not to move again anytime soon, there is no question that if we did it would be with this exceptional group. Our moves were somewhat complex, including multiple stops from home and storage facilities and included items that were of great importance to us. Although everyone was very helpful, I particularly want to acknowledge the care and hard work of Paul and the moving crew. What a difference they can make. We have already referred this firm to good friends.

Due to water damage to my home, I had to quickly set up a move of several rooms with short notice so a major repair/rennovation could be done. I made several calls to local providers. Meyer Moving was the only company to respond to my request for this small job. No one else in town was interested. The admin people, Debbie, and Tisha, were highly accommodating and quick to respond to get the ball rolling. The were very polite and friendly and informative. Quick to follow up with any questions I may have. It may also be said of Mike, who came out to assess the job and provide a quote. Again, polite, accommodating, quick to respond. They treated my small job as if I were very rich with a huge house worth millions. My crew chief, Jacob and his partner arrived early as I was warned, early is on time for him. The worked very hard non stop clearing out 3 rooms. All three rooms were full of dishes, and small things that required heavy packing. They took excellent care in packaging and preserving all my furniture, crating glass items. These two men worked so hard and so fast. I was amazed. They packed, prepped furniture, loaded the truck, and off loaded in 4.5 hours. I was fortunate to have an storage site very close to my home. These two men were not only hard working, but respectful and polite. They were careful and neat. They left the site tidy. I was so impressed, that while at the storage site, I asked Jacob if I could request he and his partner again once I move my items back into the home. I highly recommend Meyer moving for any size job. I am very pleased with the entire process.

My wife, newborn baby, and I moved within Norwalk from an apartment to a 3 bedroom condo and used Meyer for the packing and moving. While it was pretty pricey, it was a great job and Izzy and his crew were super professional, thorough, careful, and amazing at their jobs. They asked questions and made sure everything was done properly. As we have a newborn baby, we paid for the packing services as well, which was worth it as they packed everything so. carefully and we were so happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

I have been using Meyer for years now for commercial moves. And they have always been my “go to”, knowing they would do an excellent job. This time I used them for a residential move for a family member. With some items going to a new residence and some items to self storage. The team - Paul, Gary and Brian - were terrific. On time, friendly, efficient, great care with furnishings (as well as walls down a stairwell with two turns and landings), put all furniture in place in new location and organized all items going into storage. Everything perfectly done. My family and I could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend Meyer for both residential and commercial moves!

Meyer had what I needed: storage, delivery of moving supplies and a competent staff.

Bill Douma expertly calculated how many boxes I would need and this was done with a virtual tour of my home. I was very impressed at the accuracy. Debra Rivera and Tesha Shipp followed up with the scheduling and planning details. They were friendly, accommodating and very professional.

The movers were usually a team of three and each time my belongings were treated with great care. They made a great effort to be on time, and always arrived on the early side of the scheduled time. My things were in storage for both moves and everything arrived – nothing missing. If I had any questions about my storage invoices or general billing, Barry Smith was there to clarify what I didn’t understand.

We used William B Meyer for our move from Massachusetts to New Jersey. They were excellent to work with from the very beginning to the end of the move. Bill Douma and Debra Rivera were great to work with setting up our move. Our crew chief Steve Stone and his crew including Nick, Chris and Jeremiah were amazing. They took great care of our belongings. This was our first move where nothing was broken or damaged. They also took great care of our home. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for your move!

The charge was also reasonable and competitive.

The whole Team was very cooperative and Customer focused.

We used Meyer not only to move us across the country, but also to store our belongings for a year and a half. The team from start to finish was great. We began with Bill Douma, estimator, and he was prompt and helpful with much more than just providing an estimate. Debra Rivera, HHG Admin Assistant/OADA Lead, was our contact to coordinate the move out west. She kept in touch, answered all of our questions thoughtfully and followed through consistently.

The movers in CT were efficient and careful. On the receiving end, Boguslaw of United was highly professional. He and local movers, Mike and Duncan, took great care of our belongings, including protecting the home we moved into.

Without question we would work with these companies again.
