Bill Duma did a virtual inspection of our property and provided a written estimate. He took his time to explain all associated costs and options. He was able accommodate our

load date in CT and delivery to our new home in NC. We chose to do our own packing but they provided all the boxes and packing material. Paulo DeOliveria, our crew chief/driver and his crew arrived on time and were very professional. They wrapped and protected all our furniture. I can’t believe how efficient and quick they were in loading and unloading. Our delivery arrived in NC on the date and time agreed to. They put everything where we wanted and set up the items we wanted them to. Not one thing was missing or damaged. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if we were to move.

The moving crew headed up by Johnny Auguste were very professional, efficient and hard working. Johnny is very good at his job and being a front line representative of the company he displays great customer service skills and professionalism. His crew packed and moved our belongings with care and all arrived in great condition. They were all very hard working and caring. We would highly recommend Johnny Auguste and the William B. I am not sure I even have the proper words to describe how EASY and PAINLESS the move was - believe me when I say I was in quite a state about the move, in part because I was doing it on my own. The professional and personalized care offered by the William B. Meyer staff  was just what I needed - I was no longer alone!

It started with Tom Burke, the estimator.  He phoned me back within a half hour of my placing the call and came over that very day to give me a firm price on the move.  Laura Meng, the move coordinator, checked in with me on a regular basis as did  Debra Rivera, admin.  (Deb even gave me a call a few days after the move to see how I was doing.)  Everyone was not just professional but very kind - they clearly sensed I needed some 'hand holding.'  

Steve Stone, crew chief, and William his assistant, were absolutely amazing.  Steve phoned as promised the night before with the time details. And, he called again the next day when he was thirty minutes from my home.  Right away Steve and William put me at my ease - I knew everything was going to be alright.  They easily and quickly moved my possessions onto the truck.

Steve and William showed up in Vermont at the promised time the next day.  They were cheerful during the entire process.  All my belongings arrived in perfect condition. When I asked for an opinion in placing some pieces they could even do that. We moved from Milton, MA to Wilmington, NC and the whole process was easy with this company. Bill Douma, District Manager, provided a safe and accurate virtual estimate and also made sure we received packing materials well in advance. Jennie Farnell, our move coordinator, checked in from time time to make sure everything was on schedule. Jose Vargas was the crew chief on both ends and he was superb. Everyone we worked with responded quickly whenever we had questions before the move. We did most of the packing but the crew packed some fragile items and we were very grateful for that. The crew also dismantled beds and tables and put them together once the items were delivered. They were also very attentive to where we wanted items placed in NC. Everyone was professional and friendly, and kind. It is stressful to move and, at one point, Jose looked at me and said "It's all OK, don't worry, we've got this." He was terrific. We had three estimates and this was the least expensive and also included packing materials (the other companies said we had to get materials on our own). We could not have been happier with the entire experience. And nothing broke!

I appreciate, too, that the company seeks feedback and wants to make sure that they are doing their best for customers. I truly can't think of anything else I would have wanted from them. I highly recommend them for their experience, professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness, attentiveness to their customers, and follow through. I would absolutely use this company again.

We lived in our home for 32 years in Pound Ridge and needed help to South Salem,NY with a very short window. Our original mover could not help us and referred Wm. Meyers Moving and Storage. What a great recommendation! From my first contact with Debra Rivera to Bill Douma all was above and beyond all expectations. On moving day the crew were a god send. They had a sense of humor that helped in more ways than I can explain. They took care of our belongings like their own precious cargo. Our belongings are stored temporarily until our home is ready and when so, we will only use Wm Meyers and we want the same crew. Customer Service is so important and this company went above and beyond all expectations with such grace, empathy and kindness.

In preparation of moving residences I contacted William B Meyer, among others, to provide us with a written quote for our moving needs. Mr. Tom Burke, DistrictManager, arrived at my home to discuss my needs. We found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. He provided us with a quote within hours of our meeting and the numbers were very competitive with other quotes we had obtained. Our comfort level with Tom Burke however, was the deciding factor.

From that moment forward and in dealing with other staff at William B Meyer we knew we had made the right choice. Once we became a customer we were immediately contacted by Debbie Rivera, one of our move coordinators. She was and is such a pleasure to speak with and she explained the process moving forward. Then we received a call from Tesha Shipp, move coordinator. She was equally as friendly, knowledgeable and courteous as the others we had spoken with. What an extreme pleasure dealing with these individuals especially when moving is such a stressful time. This was our 15th move, yes 15th. So we have been through this process. William B Meyer, by far, out performed any other moving companies we have used in the past. Exceeded our expectations.

A special mention to Frank Diaz, our crew chief. He and his staff were excellent and worked very hard to insure our move was handled appropriately. They paid special attention to details and placed all items/boxes exactly where we wanted them to be.

I've worked with Bill Douma & Meyer moving for several moves (both myself & family/extended family) and cannot speak highly enough of them. Quick, professional, best packing even of the smallest glassware to dressers - everything made it to the new home quickly & completely undamaged. Our Meyer packing and moving crew, Mike, Gus and Canti, arrived promptly, were very courteous, efficient and a pleasure to work with. We thank Bill, the move surveyor, and Dan our international move coordinator for launching our move from Brooklyn, NY to London, England. We hope that the shipping company and Meyer's partners in the UK continue to work as well as the Meyer team and we can look forward to being safely reunited with our "stuff" in London.

Our Meyer estimator, Bill Douma, did a solid job of esimtating so our team packing crew finished just a little ,ahead of schedule and, using small trucks given our driveway circumstances, worked 3 days in a row nonstop packing and then unloading into storage before the return. Paul Denzel, Jr., our crew chief was a very good communicator and manager. His crew did a very efficient job for a large pack and load. On the move-in,the crew was able to take one large truck plus a car and complete the move in in a single day with a large crew of 6. While a challenge to keep up, they did a great job. Finally, their local affiliate picked up a garage full of boxes about a month later saving us a large headache of disposing of them. Jennie Farnell, working in their office, was awesome checking on how things were going, responsive in discussing any plan changes, and discussing potential issues and she clearly genuinely cared about our experience and having a smooth move. Would recommend.

I used William B. Meyer to move from a 3 Bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. Bill Harner was my initial contact who provided me with the estimate. Tesha Shipp was my move coordinator who kept me updated, Paul Denzel Jr. was the crew chief, and I had a great group of crew members. Everyone was fantastic from start to finish! They kept me informed and answered any questions that I had. I was amazed by how quickly and smoothly everything went on move day. I received a follow-up phone call from Debbie Rivera to see how my move went. I'm moving to a condo in October, and have already scheduled my move with them. I highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Had one of the best experience while doing interstate move with Meyers from beginning to the end. Tom Burke was very patient in giving the estimate and changing the moving dates, Jennie Farrell was amazing to accommodate the last minute changes as well. On the day of moving what a amazing experience with Johnny Auguste coordinating all the move and constantly assuring us about the move, and keeping us updated through out the move. We recently hired WB Myers in Stratford to move our contents from CT to FL. From the 1st discussion with District Manager Bill Harner, and discussing the details with our move coordinator Jennie Farnell, to meeting our crew chief Ian Gardener, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They all were courteous, professional and responsive to all questions we had throughout the process. Our timing wasn't great, as we were moving during the recent hurricane in FL, but again, the WB Myers team kept us updated on delivery schedules, setting our expectations as to when our contents would be delivered. I used Meyer moving for a local in town move and they were amazing from start to finish. The initial call to Meyer was the start of a wonderful experience. They all were very professional…all my items made it to the new home without incident. They were able to move large items such as motorcycle and lawn mowers. I worked with Bill Harner at Meyer to move about 80% of our stuff from our home to their storage facility in Stratford, with the remaining 20% being moved to a nearby apartment. Frank Diaz and his crew worked so quickly and professionally that when we found our next home, we requested Frank and crew do those moves (apartment and storage to new home). All of our items arrived undamaged, even after most of the stuff had been in storage for over two years.
