William B. Meyer

We moved from Milton, MA to Wilmington, NC and the whole process was easy with this company. Bill Douma, District Manager, provided a safe and accurate virtual estimate and also made sure we received packing materials well in advance. Jennie Farnell, our move coordinator, checked in from time time to make sure everything was on schedule. Jose Vargas was the crew chief on both ends and he was superb. Everyone we worked with responded quickly whenever we had questions before the move. We did most of the packing but the crew packed some fragile items and we were very grateful for that. The crew also dismantled beds and tables and put them together once the items were delivered. They were also very attentive to where we wanted items placed in NC. Everyone was professional and friendly, and kind. It is stressful to move and, at one point, Jose looked at me and said "It's all OK, don't worry, we've got this." He was terrific. We had three estimates and this was the least expensive and also included packing materials (the other companies said we had to get materials on our own). We could not have been happier with the entire experience. And nothing broke!

I appreciate, too, that the company seeks feedback and wants to make sure that they are doing their best for customers. I truly can't think of anything else I would have wanted from them. I highly recommend them for their experience, professionalism, attention to detail, timeliness, attentiveness to their customers, and follow through. I would absolutely use this company again.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $9500

We lived in our home for 32 years in Pound Ridge and needed help to South Salem,NY with a very short window. Our original mover could not help us and referred Wm. Meyers Moving and Storage. What a great recommendation! From my first contact with Debra Rivera to Bill Douma all was above and beyond all expectations. On moving day the crew were a god send. They had a sense of humor that helped in more ways than I can explain. They took care of our belongings like their own precious cargo. Our belongings are stored temporarily until our home is ready and when so, we will only use Wm Meyers and we want the same crew. Customer Service is so important and this company went above and beyond all expectations with such grace, empathy and kindness.

Thank you for all. We are truly grateful. The Leist Family...

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $6000

I recently sold the house I had lived in for 45 years. I wasn't sure where to start with the move. Meyers was highly recommended to me by a family member and it couldn't have worked out better. From the initial visit by Bill Harner to the coordination by Tesha Shipp to Frank Diaz and his crew, it was much less stressful than anticipated. Frank and his crew were amazing! Any and all questions/concerns were answered quickly and with a smile. Interim calls from Tesha and Debbie to be sure everything was going well were much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend these folks to anyone anticipating a move, large or small. Thank you folks at Meyers!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2800

From the first contact with Bill Harner coming to give our estimate and working with Tesha Shipp to coordinate the move this was a great company to work with.

We had some changes and delays along the way and Meyer's just kept working with us and willingly accommodated through every change.

Paul and Ethan showed up on a Friday morning to begin moving our stuff and couldn't have been more professional, efficient and friendly. After loading all of our stuff they drove to our new place with our belongings and waited hours outside on a very hot and humid day all as a result of a major screw up on our lender's part. As a we were unable to move into our new home on that day, they wound up leaving to bring all of our stuff back to the warehouse but not until after 6 PM. Paul gave me his cell phone number and telling me to call or text him if by chance we would be able to get into our new place on Saturday. If we were able, he was going to come and unload on Saturday. Unfortunately that didn't happen and we weren't able to get in until Monday.

When I spoke with Bill to reschedule the 2nd half of our move he said they wouldn't be able to do it until maybe the following week.

I called Paul who was on another job in New York and left him a VM and asked if there is anything he could do it would be much appreciated. When Paul called me back he said he would try to get our stuff to us on THAT DAY! He would have to go back to the warehouse, reload our stuff onto a truck and move it to our new place. He then called back and said he'd be able to deliver our stuff between 4 and 5 on that day.

Paul and Steven showed up around 5 PM and were once again very professional, friendly and efficient!! They had the truck unloaded and everything reassembled and in it's place by 6:30 PM! If it weren't for Paul's willingness to go above and beyond there's a good possibility we would still be waiting for our furniture to be delivered a week and a half later.

We cannot express enough our gratitude to Paul, Ethan, Steven, Tesha and Bill for all of their efforts to make our miserable experience much better because we were able to have our furniture in our new place and weren't going to be sleeping on air mattresses and eating off of snack tables.

I would recommend Meyer's to anyone looking for a good mover that is willing to do what it takes to their move done.

Thank you all to this great team.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1800

William B. Meyer movers were the best!!! Lead guy Rudy and his crew were professional, arrived on time, asked lots of questions to ensure my belongings went to correct rooms, worked together as a team, well oiled and coordinated!!

The moving coordinator, Tesha Shipp was excellent!! She communicated clearly, ensured all arrangements went as discussed and she actually answered my call before the start of a business day!!

I was super nervous moving from Massachusetts after 45 years in one one! Wiliam B Meyer moved me from my storage unit to my new home and not a single item was damaged!!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2700

In preparation of moving residences I contacted William B Meyer, among others, to provide us with a written quote for our moving needs. Mr. Tom Burke, DistrictManager, arrived at my home to discuss my needs. We found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and attentive to our needs. He provided us with a quote within hours of our meeting and the numbers were very competitive with other quotes we had obtained. Our comfort level with Tom Burke however, was the deciding factor.

From that moment forward and in dealing with other staff at William B Meyer we knew we had made the right choice. Once we became a customer we were immediately contacted by Debbie Rivera, one of our move coordinators. She was and is such a pleasure to speak with and she explained the process moving forward. Then we received a call from Tesha Shipp, move coordinator. She was equally as friendly, knowledgeable and courteous as the others we had spoken with. What an extreme pleasure dealing with these individuals especially when moving is such a stressful time. This was our 15th move, yes 15th. So we have been through this process. William B Meyer, by far, out performed any other moving companies we have used in the past. Exceeded our expectations.

A special mention to Frank Diaz, our crew chief. He and his staff were excellent and worked very hard to insure our move was handled appropriately. They paid special attention to details and placed all items/boxes exactly where we wanted them to be.

Thank you to William B Meyer and their entire staff for making our move go as smoothly as possible. It meant a great deal to us. I will no doubt be happy to recommend this company to anyone who has moving needs.

Well Done.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4224

We were extremely happy with our moving experience with William B Meyer Movers. Mike Pickwick did a great job giving us a very fair estimate & providing us with ample cartons & wardrobes. Izzy & his crew were the absolute best Movers, wrapped everything carefully, set everything down in it's proper place, nothing was damaged! The company is reliable, honest and did everything right! Debra Rivero was always available and extremely helpful! Would very strongly recommend this company!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3300

Had one of the best experience while doing interstate move with Meyers from beginning to the end. Tom Burke was very patient in giving the estimate and changing the moving dates, Jennie Farrell was amazing to accommodate the last minute changes as well. On the day of moving what a amazing experience with Johnny Auguste coordinating all the move and constantly assuring us about the move, and keeping us updated through out the move. The things were delivered right on time, no damage to home and no damage/scratches to furniture. Love this company, the people and greatly recommend them for any long distance moves.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6500

I've worked with Bill Douma & Meyer moving for several moves (both myself & family/extended family) and cannot speak highly enough of them. Quick, professional, best packing even of the smallest glassware to dressers - everything made it to the new home quickly & completely undamaged. When we were done unpacking, they came back again and helped clean up all the boxes, paper wrapping, tape, etc. Honestly this was the easiest part of the entire move. Thank you!

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: $12500

I used Meyer moving for a local in town move and they were amazing from start to finish. The initial call to Meyer was the start of a wonderful experience. They all were very professional…all my items made it to the new home without incident. They were able to move large items such as motorcycle and lawn mowers. They made the move very easy and seamless for me and my family. I highly recommend Meyer moving and would absolutely use them again. They were all amazing.

Thank you for wonderful service!!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2377

I worked with Bill Harner at Meyer to move about 80% of our stuff from our home to their storage facility in Stratford, with the remaining 20% being moved to a nearby apartment. Frank Diaz and his crew worked so quickly and professionally that when we found our next home, we requested Frank and crew do those moves (apartment and storage to new home). All of our items arrived undamaged, even after most of the stuff had been in storage for over two years.

Thanks to all of the others at Meyer who helped along the way (Tesha, Debra, Barry and the members of Frank's crew).

You can't go wrong by hiring Meyer for you next move or storage needs!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3675

Our Meyer packing and moving crew, Mike, Gus and Canti, arrived promptly, were very courteous, efficient and a pleasure to work with. We thank Bill, the move surveyor, and Dan our international move coordinator for launching our move from Brooklyn, NY to London, England. We hope that the shipping company and Meyer's partners in the UK continue to work as well as the Meyer team and we can look forward to being safely reunited with our "stuff" in London.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8100

Our Meyer estimator, Bill Douma, did a solid job of esimtating so our team packing crew finished just a little ,ahead of schedule and, using small trucks given our driveway circumstances, worked 3 days in a row nonstop packing and then unloading into storage before the return. Paul Denzel, Jr., our crew chief was a very good communicator and manager. His crew did a very efficient job for a large pack and load. On the move-in,the crew was able to take one large truck plus a car and complete the move in in a single day with a large crew of 6. While a challenge to keep up, they did a great job. Finally, their local affiliate picked up a garage full of boxes about a month later saving us a large headache of disposing of them. Jennie Farnell, working in their office, was awesome checking on how things were going, responsive in discussing any plan changes, and discussing potential issues and she clearly genuinely cared about our experience and having a smooth move. Would recommend.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $34000

I used William B. Meyer to move from a 3 Bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. Bill Harner was my initial contact who provided me with the estimate. Tesha Shipp was my move coordinator who kept me updated, Paul Denzel Jr. was the crew chief, and I had a great group of crew members. Everyone was fantastic from start to finish! They kept me informed and answered any questions that I had. I was amazed by how quickly and smoothly everything went on move day. I received a follow-up phone call from Debbie Rivera to see how my move went. I'm moving to a condo in October, and have already scheduled my move with them. I highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if I could.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2300

We recently hired WB Myers in Stratford to move our contents from CT to FL. From the 1st discussion with District Manager Bill Harner, and discussing the details with our move coordinator Jennie Farnell, to meeting our crew chief Ian Gardener, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. They all were courteous, professional and responsive to all questions we had throughout the process. Our timing wasn't great, as we were moving during the recent hurricane in FL, but again, the WB Myers team kept us updated on delivery schedules, setting our expectations as to when our contents would be delivered. Also a shout out to Debra Rivera for a very thorough follow-up. Thanks to the entire WB Myers team. If we are ever in need of moving services, they will be our 1st call!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5700

We would like to thank Meyer Incorporated of Stratford, CT for a clean and easy move.

Tom Burke, District Sales Manager, was pleasant and professional. He was informative and answered our calls quickly. He came to review the move for our house twice.

Tesha Shipp, Move Coordinator, was in contact with times/dates that were accurate and perfect for our schedules. She was so nice to speak to and answered questions in a timely and professional manner.

Izzy Baez, Crew Chief, arrived on time with his great team ready to work. The team was clean, careful with our furniture and treasured items, organized and polite. They worked super hard and got the job done quickly. I would gladly recommend this company and team for all your moving needs! They even stored our furniture for a week at a great price when our closing was delayed. So thankful for these guys!!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4300

Bill Harner came out to our home to review our belongings and give us an estimate. In addition, he provided many moving tips and helpful ideas to help us to prepare for moving day. Tesha Shipp was our personal moving coordinator. It was so nice to have an actual person to work with. We had a little snow on moving day, but the crew was fast and efficient. They arrived on time and came into the house to review what they had to put in the truck. The truck was packed quickly and care was taken with our posessions. Paul Denzel was the crew chief and he was great. All 3 of the movers were pleasant, professional and took great care moving us out of the old and into the new.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1800

After living in my house for 50 years, we accumulated a lot of memories and items. It was an emotional time, and a tremendous amount of work was required to pack and move 50 years' worth. Meyer Incorporated helped manage the entire process from packing to safely transporting it to our new location. The four men were wonderful to work with and took great care in everything they did. Debbie, the manager, was equally attentive and helped alleviate some of the stress. I highly recommend this company to anyone and would gladly use them again.
