Mark and the gang were total life savers for our recent move from Plymouth to Bristol the week before Christmas (2016). Vandyman were recommended to me from a neighbour of an existing customer.

Mark's attention to detail for the quoting process left me feeling content and confident I was being quoted accurately, that there were going to be no nasty surprises on moving day.

Despite a few small setbacks in terms of the property not being ready to move in, the whole process went smoothly. I'm very pleased with the level of service received and felt compelled to write a review to share my feelings for other potential movers.

Service cost: £1300

I can’t recommend the team enough, they helped us out with a short notice move and their packing and moving steam were incredibly efficient. We were out of our house by ten and when the legal side of the sale delayed us getting in our new home the team were unfazed and brought in extra staff so that we were settled in good time
Packing materials were of a good standard and no damage to furniture was done, they even pointed out pre existing damage to a table and wardrobe that they thought they had caused
Overall a trustworthy, reliable and efficient service.

This is going to be an odd review because few haven't actually used the Vandyman to move - but wish we did!! My sister moved and the company was fabulous so when it came to our move I asked the Vandyman round for a quote. Mark is very thorough and explains everything fully and in detail so you know what is going on and why. Ultimately we went with another company because - well the numbers were quite different and the husband obviously said it wasn't enough to like Mark when it came to quite a few hundred pounds. Reluctantly I agreed.
Well, after a few problems with the other company, to additional costs, to my queries on what days they're actually packing us and moving us the other company agreed we did need an additional day and increased the quote - remarkably it now pretty much matched the Vandyman who had already worked out we would need that extra! I didn't want to go ahead with them any longer and rang Mark to ask if he was available for our date - he was! The other company have been deceitful and held us to a contract even though they breached their own contract. Mark has helped to try to get us out of a mess with a company I don't want moving us as I don't trust them - sadly I'm no good with confrontation and neither is the hubby so we're stuck. Learn from me - don't make the same mistake - Mark is a genuine guy who quotes properly and I would feel confident having him in my home.

I subcontracted a job to Mark and crew. They did a first class job. I would highly recommend. They turned up early, delivered early all staff. They were smart and professional. Vehicles were clean and tidy. I am very impressed. Job was a little tricky with poor access at loading address but no problem as they sent the right size vehicles.
