Strong Move

If you've ever had to do it, probably reading the subject sent shivers down your spine. It's such a hassle, with all the documentation, filing cabinets, furniture and equipment, and all those small items laying around that you don't have the heart to throw away .. isn't it? I decided to spare myself the tension and discomfort of packing it all, messing around with bubble wrap and duct tape sticking to everything else but the designated areas, and then asking my friend for his lorry, loading everyhting, unloading it, going to the doctor to fix my shoulder, my wife nagging and asking where to put something as she decided to help me unpack. Not worth it. I booked with Strong Move and had a nice cup of tea as I gave out the instructions and watched the lads dexterously pack and load everything. The whole load arrived intact, the price was reasonable and jeez, am I glad I didn't put myself through it all again. Thanks, mates, great job.

Relocating is never easy, considering all the memories and personal marks that we'd left in the old flat. However, it had to be done and we hired Strong Move to take at least a bit of the task with all the packing and hauling of heavy cases. I think Alex was the name of the sales person who organised everything for us and navigated the movers to the pick up point. The lads seemed slender but rather experienced as they knew how to handle and twist a large sofa through the maze of a flat we had. They worked swiftly and focused on their job and that was exactly what I wanted. I have dealt with some random service providers in the past and all their employees wanted was to chat and fool around. Not these lads - they were professional and delivered all the goods in pristine condition.

Service cost: £260

Prompt and polite lads. We booked them on a Friday and I specifically asked for the bigger van because we have a lot of clothes, personal stuff, kitchen appliances, not to mention all the furniture. The surprise on the movers' faces when they came and saw all the boxes rather bewildered me - I mean what movers were they if they got astounded by a few dozens of boxes. They started loading the van, with the occasional huff and puff plus a small break, until eventually everything was set. Our stuff was packed nicely and delivered promptly and I guess a thank you to the team is in order.

The movers were not exactly neat and tidy but I guess that's what you get when you work your back off all day. Anyway, they have come to lift things, not to be handsome. The load of furniture was quite big and it took them several hours just to haul it all up on the truck. Of course, they also made sure our things were packed safely for the trip. The unpacking was all saved for ourselves and it took us nearly a week untill we've finally settled but now I can say the move was a definite success.

They came to the property a bit late but made up for it by being the perfect gentlemen and delivering some really high quality services. Packaging and allocating the boxes through the inside of their van was their strenght and they managed to fill it up to the roof without anything being unstable or in danger of falling. That also showed for their professionalism as we received all of our boxes undamaged except for several lightly crumpled edges on some of the boxes. The contents however were intact and this round up my recommendation on Strong Move.

We were doing a full-on move with all the inventory, even the carpets were coming with us as I've bought them a few years back. Strong Move seemed like the only firm with the capacity to deal with the task in time. Todd, their office rep, was kind and helpful, taking ownership of the job and following up through the whole time. The move was done professionally, with all the packing and securing the items with bubble wrap.
In the end, they delivered everything within the time limit and proved to me as a trusted removal service provider.

Our move was fully conducted by this moving company. I called to receive a quote but it sounded really, really good so I didn't felt the need to research the competition, Strong Move were enough for our needs. The movers came with a van, just big eonugh for all of our stuff. To be honest, we were not the easiest customers and there was a certain amount of disagreement but in the end, the job was done well, and up to our preferences. I really liked them and would recommend them highly.

I had a great experience with Strong Move. They were prompt and treated me nicely. Of course, that's not enough for a moving service to be complete so they delivered the items on time and there was no damage on any of them. We got them to move our furniture and some packed boxes from our old flat to the new place. The movers were big and really strong as they lifted and navigated the sofa through the flat and onto the truck with ease. Our items arrived on time and the price was not high at all.
