Excellent company

Great experience with David and his team. David was so knowledgeable and helpful as we had never used a moving company before or bought and sold on the same day.

The whole team were so professional and very lovely people. They were so efficient, getting the house empty in 3 hours, including taking apart any furniture. And after a 2 hour wait to move in they got everything out swiftly, checking where we wanted everything positioned and making sure we were happy with everything before leaving.

I highly recommend Reliable Removals.

Poor customer protection

Their IT system was hacked recently and we keep receiving scam letters and emails with our original email content asking us for money , etc. Its very bad reputation for them and I don't know what other information hackers stoled from them!!!

Brilliant

Dave and the team at Reliable are brilliant! We’ve used them on a repeat basis for house moves in the last 10yrs. We used them for both a packing service for and a move (also some storage in between exchange and completion) everything ran like clockwork. It was also a very short time between exchange and completion and Dave was great at giving us options for a last minute move.

Couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks guys!!

Superb company, team and service

Excellent service from start to finish. The team were on time, efficient, careful, respectful of the furniture and property, and highly professional. The lorry was loaded carefully with all furniture packed well and secured properly. Having had many moves in the Army, this was by far the best, most personal service. The team even went out of their way by diverting to Ramsgate to swap some furniture before going onto the storage unit in Canterbury. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Long-distance move from Essex to Yorkshire

3/4-bed house, 3-day move from Essex to Sheffield

We had to book our move at only two weeks' notice after we were let down by another company. Luckily for us, a friend recommended Reliable Removals and David and his team stepped in at short notice and certainly lived up to their name. Our possessions (which we packed ourselves) amounted to over 130 boxes, plus large items of furniture over 3 floors plus a packed garage and outbuilding, and garden plants and ornaments. All was packed in the lorries over a day and a half, quickly and efficiently and with care and attention to the house and possessions. We were particularly impressed with and grateful for David's calm and professional supervision. The teams at both ends were cooperative and friendly and respected our wishes. They went the extra mile: for example, at the destination they worked overtime after our own delayed arrival without complaint (albeit bribed with Bourbon biscuits!).

Excellent service and value for money, would recommend without hesitation.

Long-distance move from Essex to Essex

Brilliant and professional.

I had a large amount of different sized boxes plus furniture from a 3 bed semi. Legal delays meant they were hanging around for a lot of the day and had to work well beyond their alloted time but they went above and beyond to complete the job. A superb bunch, happy, professional and hard working. I would absolutely recommend Dave & his team. Thanks guys.

House to Flat move for pensioner

Dismantling furniture, two flights of stairs and lots of boxes were packed with great care into the van. At the new address, consideration as to where each box was placed (ie tried to make sure boxes went into correct rooms), reassembling the furniture and just checking on my nan's general well being have got this company their 5 stars. The guys were friendly yet professional, happy, chatty and very helpful."

Packing, Storage & Moving

Dave and the team were professional, friendly and worked so hard moving us during a heatwave. We used the full packing service and storage which was brilliant. Everything was wrapped with care and all boxes were labelled and delivered to the correct rooms. Our furniture was dismantled and reassembled perfectly. I would definitely recommend and would use again.

Comms great, team on the day let the experience down

Whilst the initial appointment and timelines was fine, our dining table was scratched badly, the team were quite short with us on arrival, saying some items couldn’t be taken vs what the initial visit outlined and sadly after getting the keys to our new home, the movers were so insistent they needed to get on, they were actually the first people in our new home (before us), when we asked them to hold off for ten minutes while we were taken through things. I’d still recommend, as the job was good and communication up to the day was fine but the stress added by the team on the day, to an already stressful home move experience wasn’t what we needed.

David and team came to my rescue, after I was let down at very short notice.

They were very professional, every one knew what they were doing and nothing was any trouble. My stress levels were at zero once they took over and the house move went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Reliable Moving & Storage, from our first contact with them through to collecting boxes and packing materials after the move they were friendly, courteous, professional and as their name suggests reliable. We lived in our house as normal up to the day before our move, the packers arrived the day before our move and boxed up everything and the following day we moved. Everything went smoothly and there were no damages or breakages.

Reliable Removals made it a stress free experience.

Very helpful with a complicated stressful move

Dave and the crew went above and beyond when we had a long distance removal that culminated with us sitting on the drive at 5:20 still without keys. Dave's team, unloaded as much as possible into the garage. We finally go the keys with 5 minutes to go and Dave's team where magic, they moved everything for a second time, from the garage into the house, saving a lot of heartache, stress and pain carrying sofas on my own :-)

David is extremely professional, thorough and helpful. On moving day (7th in ten years - don’t ask!), he and his team were so efficient it was remarkable. My contents were in storage with Reliable Removals for nearly three months. Everything was placed into my new house with care and attention. Storage rates were reasonable and the moving costs were competitive.

Superb Removal Service

This company provided me with a very smooth removal. They were ultra RELIABLE as their name suggests, turning up on the time promised to me. The guys were fast but took great care with all of my belongings. Nothing was damaged. They took a lot of stress out of my moving home! I highly recommend this firm who went above and beyond with their service. They even helped me with a few bits and pieces when I got to my new home. Please don’t hesitate to use this company.

Long Distance Move with Storage

Dave and the team assisted my partner and I with a short-notice move collecting everything from a 3 bedroom house and storage unit, storing it all for 3 weeks and then delivering it all in a single day to our new address 3 hours away. This is the second time we have worked with Dave after he carried out a single day move for my parents. On both occasions the accuracy of quotations and timescales, level of service and communication we received from Reliable was outstanding. The team that both collected and delivered our items were extremely hard working, respectful and careful to ensure that things weren't damaged and that they were put in whatever locations we asked, no matter how awkward. I have already recommended Reliable to others and will continue to do so in the future given the way I've seen them operate.

Dave and his team done an amazing job, moved out from storageking basildon (honestly wished I knew about Reliable Moving & Storage before, I would have saved a lot of money). They met me at 0800 on time, took about 2 hours to load up and then a hour or so to unload, was all wrapped up by 12.
