Movers Not Shakers

I cannot recommend Movers Not Shakers highly enough. First of all, they were very patient when I had a series of near-sales that fell through, which resulted in me being in contact them for nearly a year. Secondly, when the move actually happened it was dealt with with incredible efficiency by Graham and Alex. I had a partial packing service (I packed some items, but left them to pack some items - principally books). It was very reassuring to be in the hands of people who obviously knew what they were doing, and who were calm and efficient. I owe them a big thank you!

Mike from "Movers Not Shakers" sent me a well planned offer for my partial move (about 31 packed moving boxes, some other boxes, some loose items, an electrical piano) as an extra load. "Movers not Shakers" responded flexibly to wished changes in the plan (I didn't wish for storage) and I was flexible with the delivery date.

This was my first move where I didn't have to do anything than to say from where to where and how I wanted my boxes and items moved. Insurance and the carrying of the boxes and items inclusive into the rooms in which I wished to have them were part of the contract.

There was no damage ("Movers Not Shakers" was definitely meant literally), nothing stolen, nothing dirty or wet (but it didn't rain at that time). The price was exactly as calculated in advance in the quote. The payments was comfortably possible by card (2% credit card charge, nil for debit cards).

The move went smooth, was kind and felt uncomplicated. I can only recommend this!

(My pickup location wasn't in the list, so I chose one closest on the way of the van back from Germany to the UK.).

I would highly recommend Movers Not Shakers. From the quote to the final move day itself, they have been fantastic.

We had a partial packing service, an extended period of storage due to lockdown, and finally the move into a new house. Through all this none of our items were damaged and Mover not Shakers have rebuilt all our furniture without a problem. Throughout they have been professional and personable and have taken a lot of the stress out of moving house.

Reliable, efficient and experienced - wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I have been working with and using the services of Movers Not Shakers for over the past 2 years, no other words than fantastic! The whole team are so brilliant, super organised, extremely careful and always friendly and helpful. I should know as I have moved home 4 times with them! (an unusual number of times but was due to a home renovation and temporary accommodation situation). I have recommended Movers Not Shakers to my friends and they have had the same experience! I thoroughly recommend them for any removal or storage needs! : )

We recently moved house with Movers not Shakers with the full packing and moving services, and I would highly recommend them. From the start of the process from enquiry, they were very responsive and gave a great service at an acceptable price. They arrived early to pack our stuff and worked till the end of the day to get all the furniture reassembled in the new house. They were professional and friendly as well as being respectful of our belongings. We really appreciate all their hard work.

We used movers not shakers for a move from a 2 bed flat on the 10th floor to a 3 bedroom house. I received a few quotes and found MNS to be the most competitive. They quoted by the hour which I am always a bit cautious about, however they were fantastic.

They arrived for the move on time and got straight to loading the van. We had pre packed most things but they were very efficient when it came to moving items and protecting mirrors/sofas/beds. Our movers were Fabio and Danny and they were brilliant. Friendly, good communication and very professional. We were quoted 5 hours for our move but they did it in 3.5!

Having moved several times in the past I found MNS to be fantastic and the service provided was impeccable. Thank you to the whole team for making it so easy and for the hard work! I will be recommending them to anyone looking to move and will be using them again.
