Langer-Umzüge

First of all: Overall, our move went according to plan and quite professionally. Mr. Langer's employees were extremely competent and very friendly. I would still never book the company again for three reasons: 1. There was a strange and extremely unpleasant discrepancy between Mr. Langer's communication before and after the order was placed, 2. We were obviously deliberately deceived about additional disposal costs that suddenly popped up on the day of the move, 3. Minor complaints that we noticed afterwards (and that were manageable and solvable) were ironed out in an incredibly rude manner, without any suggestion for a solution, but with shouting and threats. When reading the reviews it becomes clear that we share these experiences with other customers - that seems to be a system. Here are our experiences in detail: During the inspection of the apartment before the move, Mr. Langer seemed very nice, obliging and promised a kind of uncomplicated, worry-free service. The whole thing has a premium price, but that would only be fair for good, flexible and uncomplicated service. The move got off to a good start, but shortly before the end gigantic new costs suddenly arose because kitchen disposal was suggested in the offer (“dismantling and throwing away as rubbish”), but additional disposal costs were incurred. Because our garbage can - surprise! - was too small for a dismantled kitchen. Mr. Langer was logically aware of this - just as it was clear to him that the service stated in the order was understood by customers as “disposal included” and not as “just look what you do with 7 cubic meters of bulky garbage on the sidewalk.” “. During the telephone conversation with Mr. Langer, the tone was no longer friendly and authoritative. He just kept referring persistently to the text of the offer, which did not include disposal. Many similar customer experiences show that this was not an isolated case. Again and again, the disposal step is suddenly missing from the offer and has to be added for hundreds or thousands of euros. The most unpleasant experience with Mr. Langer, however, was a phone call a while after the move. At some point while unpacking we noticed that a small (not valuable) piece of furniture and a technical part of the kitchen were missing, which had probably been accidentally thrown away. I called them in the hope that the Langer company would offer us a replacement, reassembly or some uncomplicated form of compensation. Instead of a solution-oriented conversation, Mr. Langer just repeated louder and louder that none of that was on offer. Ultimately, he screamed into the phone for several minutes and finally threatened that he would now issue an extra bill because some of the services provided were not on offer. He simply didn't believe me that I had specifically announced these services over the phone. That really stunned me - praising the uncomplicated handling of change requests and then shouting down the customer like that is a powerful thing. Very, very unpleasant. By the way, we had a positive moving experience with the Zapf company almost at the same time. It was about a smaller load that was transported between two cities. If we moved again, we would probably hire Zapf.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: €7000

The moving company's employees are particularly good at one thing: talking. But only before the move, when you are promised great things and everyone is really nice, friendly and accommodating. Hidden costs can be found on every corner; you should read the pages full of small print very carefully. Otherwise, damages noted three days after the move will not be reimbursed. The telephone conversation that I had with Mr. Langer and previously with his employee on the day of the move cannot be put into words. I was shouted at and insulted. According to his employees, this and the fact that unexpected additional costs suddenly arise are the way customers are dealt with every second move. Our lawyer also confirmed that there was a clear scam here. I can only advise everyone: stay away from this company!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding service provided by the moving company that recently completed my move. The entire team worked extremely professionally and ensured that everything ran smoothly. I would particularly like to emphasize the excellent assembly work on the lamps. The team worked extremely carefully and assembled the lamps precisely and safely. The kitchen construction also went extremely smoothly - the team demonstrated expertise and efficiency. Rechnung wich über 30% vom Angebot ab! Das Angebot, auf dessen der Auftrag erfolgte, beinhaltete die geschätzten Stunden des Umzuges. Nicht aber die Stunden für An- und Abfahrtszeit. Diese hätten, da die Be- und Entladestelle natürlich bekannt waren, im Angebot aufgeführt sein.

Irreführung durch die im Angebot genannte Entfernungspauschale, welche suggeriert, dass damit die An- und Abfahrt gemeint ist.

Der Auftragnehmer hätte über den Preisunterschied von über 700 Euro informieren müssen.

Vorab und auch während des Umzuges lief die Kommunikation und der Ablauf mit den Mitarbeitern super! Deshalb hätte ich diese Firma gern erneut beim nächsten Umzug, der in 3 Monaten ansteht, wieder beauftragt. Aber nach dieser Abzocke nicht mehr. GF antwortete auf Rückfrage pampig!

Einzig die Kosten für die Anlieferung von Packmaterial, welche nicht benötigt wurde und auch auf der RG auftachte, wurde erstattet.

Sehr schade solche Machenschaften! Die Mitarbeitern waren zuvorkommend, freundlich und schnell.

Short version:

Our move had to be postponed by two days due to the fault of Langer-Umzüge. An apology; there was no requested callback from the boss or any compensation. Absolutely unprofessional team in the office. The most important thing a moving team has to do: Being there on the day of the move - Langer-Umzüge could not do.

Who wants to know exactly:

The boss came by us in advance of the move and made an offer based on the scope. Since he made a professional impression, we gave Langer Umzüge the order and canceled the other moving company, which had also made an offer based on a personal visit.

In the further course of the communication, the office made a very unprofessional impression. In some cases I received a response from two colleagues, so that communications overlapped and I wrote e-mails like "Dear Ms. xy, I have already informed your colleague xy of this on dd.mm.yyyy ..".

The day of the move came. The moving party should be there by 8 a.m. At 8:45 am we called the office because nobody was there.
We were told that the appointment was not "in the system"; therefore there would be no move today. The reason for this is our fault. "You have not confirmed the moving date to us". When I pointed out that we had even got the appointment confirmed in writing from Langer, only an "Oh .." came. There was research and then "I have to call you back".

After several phone calls with several employees, in which not one of them apologized for their mistake, we were put off for two days later.

A compensation, let alone a callback to the boss, as requested several times, was not made.

Therefore absolutely no recommendation!
