The owner gave me a video call. I was immediately sent a quote for £1320 to move a one bedroom flat up the street. Other quotes I received were less than 1/4 of the price. The quote did not come with any rational for the high cost. The owner also did not give me any advice or information that felt in my best interest. He just noted the things we had, told us we had a busy flat, and then sent a quote that is 4x higher than two other removal companies I have gotten a quote from (one of the others did a video call as well and still returned a sub £400 quote).

I got a quote which was expensive but I went for these guys anyway. I am very glad that I did. I was contacted by phone when they were arriving. My house was in a remote location so they followed me up a narrow road. They had to reverse up a lane. All done with no fuss. The three guys who turned up could not have been more helpful. Polite, professional and even used a bit of humour to lighten what was a stressful occasion. Everything packed with care. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Used these jokers to move from Glasgow to Newcastle. Arrived 3-4 hours late. A number of boxes (of which I still have photos) had been left to soak up water but luckily the contents was undamaged. One item was missing and I was informed to contact the depot in the morning. Weeks of empty promises of redelivery passed until I was eventually hung up on twice in attempts to rearrange delivery yet again. The most galling episode was having the phone slammed down on me by a guy who informed me that he only worked there temporarily and couldn't help but was the same person who had taken my order a couple of months before! Numerous letters passed threatening legal action, but unfortunately I cannot afford this. Surprisingly no response was ever forthcoming. In summary, poor service and lies. Steer well clear.

Had my household removal carried out by Glasgow Removals on 17th Oct 2012. Removal men were all polite and courteous. My wife and I were very impressed with the first task the men carried out, which was to place carpet protectors on all floors in our property. Nothing was any trouble for the men, including giving me a hand when I was dismantling my king size bed. Men also used suite covers on my three piece suite so no worries when being removed from house to removal truck and then into my new house. Removal men carried out my full removal with the utmost care and professionalism and I would highly recommend Glasgow Removals and would not hesitate to use this company again. So it is a great big thank you to everyone, from the friendly office staff, to the really hard working removal men at Glasgow Removals.

I have had an excellent experience at Glasgow removals Ltd. My call was returned within an hour, outside of regular office hours, and pick-up was arranged for the next day. The driver arrived first thing Sunday morning (so that I wouldn't have to wait around all day) and he was super friendly and helpful. My Storage has been arranged at a low monthly rate. I was on a tight deadline to move internationally, and having such prompt service made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier.

The guy who came to do the quote was s nice, which made me pick this company for our removals. The removal men were so good and we could not have asked for a better service. We have a small baby and they were great around her, even trying to move quietly if she was asleep. I think the mans name was Steven and he came on both days of our removals. We could not have met a more friendly or polite person to do the work. They moved everything and put it in our new house with as little disruption to us as possible. I can not praise this company enough. Overall experience was 10 out of 10.

I would highly recommend Glasgow Removals, as with any quote we got a few quotes from different companies and Glasgow Removals where the cheapest.
Arrived on the day promptly and on time and communication was always very good. The guys where very professional and very helpful.
Dispite only getting keys at 4pm the manager asked a few guys if they would do overtime and they agreed to deliver despite not having to.
All items arrived in condition they left the flat and put back into the house in every room we needed.
Great company to deal with!!

I booked Glasgow Removals because they were the most competitive by a distance. As it got closer to the moving day I began to get a bit worried that I had made a mistake. Other than a confirmation email when booked a month previously, there had been no further correspondence either by email or telephone just to put the customer at ease. I shouldn't have worried though. The team (3) arrived promptly, were polite, professional and literally worked their socks off in both loading and unloading the van at our destination in Steppes, Glasgow. Nothing was too much trouble and went beyond my expectations. A satisfied customer who would not hesitate to recommend to my friends ( just improve on your customer communications prior to the move).

The company were the first to react to a quotation for removal from my existing home. At that point I did not have a specfic exit date nor entry date to my new property. The representative gave me an insight into what would practically be the best solution . This involved quotations for same day delivery in case the entry and exit days were the same. Equally I received a quotation for  uplift to storage as well as uplift from storage to the new house. The option for packing was also given in both cases.
It was thus easy to assess the task and cost in comparison to each other.
The representative  who happened to be the owner was honest and mentioned that he would not necessarily be the cheapest but assured me that my interests would be a priority for him.
The quotations were received that day so I was able to come to a conclusion very quickly. As it happens the dates had to be changed at the last minute with the entry date, outwith my control changed to a Saturday, however he was very undestanding, accommodating and flexible in this regard
Both the exit and entry removals were carried out by a team who seem to relish the ability to look after our property and gave every item total respect. When there was a problem with a settee due to size they gave us the opportunity to take off two doors and squeeze it through to the intended room

I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them for any removal

This was our easiest move ever!  The men were friendly and helpful, and very efficient and QUICK.  Most importantly, the final price was the same as the quotation!  They were late due to an unforeseen issue with another move, and I'm only taking points off because they didn't call us and we had our pets locked up longer than they needed to be.  On the other hand, they were so efficient, we were still all moved in much sooner than I anticipated, even with the late start.  I heartily recommend Glasgow Removals..they were trustworthy, professional and made the whole thing much less of an ordeal.

Worth every penny. Prompt and speedy House move. Stevie, Jordan and Hammy could not have been better. They were friendly, fast and professional at a stressful time as was the lad who helped in the afternoon. Have recommended already and will continue to do so. Excellent service

One note of slight caution is George could have taken more time over the estimate to ensure more accurate costing but certainly didn't make too much difference and wouldn 't deter me from using again.

Canny and Stevie arrived today to move furniture between 2 rooms in a duplex flat.
They were very friendly and professional throughout and went above and beyond to make sure the furniture was dismantled and reassembled in exactly where I wanted. The furniture was very heavy, and hard to dismantle but they didn't complain once!
Our stairs are at a very difficult angle and previous removal men marked all of our walls when we arrived. However these guys didn't make a single mark!
I'd recommend Stevie & Canny to anybody, and will definitely use them again when we move.

December 2019. I had the quote which everyone told me was expensive & it was a big chunk of money. HOWEVER, it is a perfect example of getting what you pay for. WHAT SERVICE! These guys saw I was upset & continued to assure me all would be fine. They were so respectful of me & my furniture. They kept me informed of what was happening all day. Any issues they brought to me immediately. Access was difficult at my new place. They worked tirelessly, smiling the whole day. DO NOT HESITATE. Thank you, thank you guys - you made a real difficult move so much easier than it could have been THANK YOU!!

L would like to thank glasgow removals for the job they carried out for my mum who is 78. it was from belfast to glasgow. from the moment we called we had a
proffesional service. when the lads turned up at my mums home in belfast. they
couldnt do enough for her, everything was just not a problem. the lads were caring
and considerate. john the driver who was the chargehand done a remarkable job
from packing the china to loading and unloading the van. thank you again .I would
