It's always a stressful time when you are moving house, let alone when you are moving to a new country. We were lucky that we found European Moving. They were so helpful. Not only were they reliable, friendly and helpful but their website was a mine of information. We found out quite a lot of information about moving to Spain from their website articles. They did everything they said they would and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who is planning a move abroad.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1800

I recently had to handle quite a complex relocation in Portugal.
I had never managed such a removal before, and I was slightly anxious. This departure in a very different country was a risky move for my family already. I did not wanted that right from the beginning to encounter difficulties and to be affected by a bad removal.
But over the phone my stress was already released, I had nothing to do and everything was handled professionally by European Moving.
As I did not had the tiniest problem with this company I can only recommend them so much after my positive experience working with them.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: €2300

They were absolutely awful in terms of communications, politeness, honesty, quality and delivery.

We have booked a moving from London (UK) to Madrid (Spain) for 3 cubic meters. Our mistake was to not to check that there was a limit of 150 kgs which represents 6 average luggages (quite limited for 3 cubic meters).
On the pick up day, they arrive late but the driver accepted everything and he has accepted everything even though it was more than 150 kgs. He told us it was not an issue and our moving should arrive in Spain in 2-3 days.

After several days passed the due date for the delivery, the lies started: driver is about to arrive, driver was there but you did not open the the door, driver got lost because the address was incorrect, and a very long etc.
After several calls, we found out that the moving was stuck in UK!

After another few days history starts to change and be mixed: your boxes never left UK because they are over weighted. We were surprised it took them almost a week to weight them and if it was for security reason the driver has accepted our boxes. They literally kidnapped our boxes (pretty much all our life) and threatened us to pay a random extra fee, that without explanation or evidence was double of the initial price.

As in every kidnap, we tried to get a few evidences, but we were forced to pay to get our life back. Only then and after a few more lies and countless and rude calls, the driver arrived very late (they asked us to wait the driver from 8am and he arrived at 9pm), hit the door of the garage, quickly throwing the boxes.

It was an intense 3 weeks with almost daily call and investigation to understand where were our boxes, when will be the delivery day, etc..

In conclusion, the company accepts our boxes and then asked for double price, they were not easily reachable, they were very rude with us, almost insulting us!, they lied to us several times, and they never contacted us back to know if we received everything.
The only positive thing is all our boxes arrived safe and sounds.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: €1000

European Moving really did the job well. Initially we were unsure about trusting our belongings to an unknow-found-online moving company. However, we had nothing to be afraid of. The service from the begining was great, the Price EXCELLENT!, cheap and competitive and the moving experience with no fault. Out of all the belongings we moved from one to another country, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING got damaged. The loading/unloading experience was done by three friendly guys who did the job well and very carefully. In a nut-shell: We will use this company again and recommend it to everyone who needs good quality and trustworthy services.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1600

I have nothing but good experience with European Moving. I booked them over phone what saved a lot of time. The process was very easy, just filling up online form and getting the quote within short time. The rep told us that they would take care of some loose fittings of furniture and mirrors. They discouraged us to carry those items by ourselves. At last I saw, they really completed their responsibilities. Hopefully I am not going to move anytime soon. But when I do, this moving company will definitely be my first choice.

Absolutely disgraceful company. As many other customers have mentioned the sales and call centre staff are very friendly and it all starts very well..
We had confirmed an 8am-12pm pickup time stating multiple times on the phone and via email that we needed it to be as early as possible given we had to attend a funeral of a close family member at 2pm and flying in the evening straight after.
Not only did I not get any info the night before after asking for a more specific time frame being completely forgotten. The next morning we had still heard nothing, I emailed and called multiple times only being told they would “update” me. Never got a call back, had to repeatedly call them until one of them actually knew what had happened with the driver (they clearly subcontract and have no way of knowing where the driver is). Only to then be told the driver had an issue with the previous drop off and would in no way arrive before 1pm (this was after waiting several hours with our stuff ready with our movers paid by the hour). We then proceed to reschedule movers, cleaners and inspection date only to then actually be called back for once and be told the truck would not come today as they had no replacement. They could maybe offer us one the next day in the evening but no guarantee. Since then they have completely cut off contact with me and have blocked my emails.

To cut it short absolutely do not use european moving if you expect them to respect any of their promises or original times. You’ll be lucky if your moving van shows up at all for pickup or drop off.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NOBODY CAME ON MOVING DAY OR THE 7 DAYS AFTER - THEY DESERTED ME WITH ALL MY MOVE READY - I'D SUGGEST YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PROVIDE NO SERVICE.

I was moving from Denmark to Spain. I planned ahead and booked my move with European Moving two months in advance, and also paid in advance, as you must. Then on the first day of the supposed 3-day pick up period nobody came or notified that they would come the day after (you’re supposed to have a 24h prior call when they come). Same thing happened on the second day. After half of the pick-up period had passed without hearing anything from anyone, I called European Moving and asked if I had any driver assigned to my move, to which they replied ‘to be honest, no’. They said they didn’t know what had happened but they were trying to find a van and I should just wait. The last day of the pick-up period I called again and they said that there was a van coming that had broken down (sounded a bit made-up) and they were trying to find another one but there were no vans available in the area and they didn’t know how long it would take to find another one. They offered me no other solution but to wait. I told them I had to leave the apartment the following day, latest, and I had to be working in Spain 2 days later, and they couldn’t care less. I called them every 3hours from then on, and every time they said there was no van and no idea when there would be one, and offered me absolutely no solution, leaving me very helpless, extremely sad and frustrated. After 4 days in this situation I realized they were not going to help me. I could strongly feel they were not going to find a van and couldn’t care less, and I realized I couldn’t count on them and they had put me in a position in which I had to look for a plan B on my own to move al my stuff from Denmark to Spain from one day to the next. God bless U-SHIP and Narcis Dobrita, the wonderful Romanian driver who responded to my ad in less than 24h and saved me. I cancelled my move with European Moving 7 days after my move was supposed to happen, and they were still offering me absolutely no solution. I'D SUGGEST YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND CARELESS.
