Wir sind jetzt wirklich schon oft über Ländergrenzen hinweg umgezogen, aber so schlecht, stressig und unerfreulich war noch kein Umzug. Das größte Problem: Die Fa. Dachser & Kolb hat unseren Auftrag einfach an ein Subunternehmen weitergereicht, ohne uns das zu sagen und ohne, dass wir damit einverstanden gewesen wären. Und dieses Subunternehmen war für einen Umzug unserer Größe schlicht nicht ausreichend ausgestattet – was Dachser & Kolb als unser Vertragspartner eigentlich vorab klären hätte müssen.

Das Subunternehmen kam mit zu wenig Personal, es war nicht informiert über die simpelsten Dinge unseres Umzugs (Anzahl der Kartons, Inhalt=Gewicht, Aufzug oder kein Aufzug) und bis zuletzt war nicht sicher, ob alles in den LKW passt. Wir waren schon darauf eingestellt, Dinge in Hamburg zurücklassen zu müssen. (Es ging immerhin von Hamburg nach Wien – kein Katzensprung, um schnell mal was nachzuholen.)  Das Resultat war, dass wir bei noch keinem anderen Umzug so viele Kartons selbst schleppen mussten. An der Zieladresse wurden sie am Schluss einfach nur noch im Wohnzimmer abgeladen – wir (immerhin 57 und 70 Jahre alt) waren noch Tage später damit beschäftigt, sie in die jeweiligen Zimmer (war alles korrekt beschriftet) zu verteilen. Beschädigt wurde ebenfalls so Einiges, was zwar hoffentlich die Versicherung deckt, aber es ist jetzt auch wieder an uns, die Dinge reparieren zu lassen oder wenigstens Kostenvoranschläge wegen eines zerkratzten Holzbodens einzuholen. Wir haben eigentlich wirklich gerade anderes zu tun.

Dachser & Kolb selbst hat aber auch so einige Fehler gemacht. Im ersten Angebot waren einige Details falsch (wer packt was, Aufzug/kein Aufzug), unser Umzugsvolumen wurde falsch geschätzt – und dann fand man unsere promptest überwiesene Anzahlung nicht! Auf unsere Fragen gab es oft schlicht keine Antwort. Die Schlussrechnung war angesichts all dieser Missstände überhöht und erneut fehlerhaft. Angeblich wurden uns Kartons und Packmaterial bis in unsere Wohnung geliefert? Von wegen: Wir durften 140 Kartons selbst raufschleppen.

Wenn wir dann auf der Webseite von Dachser & Kolb lesen, wie sehr man sich dort seines Know-hows bei internationalen Umzügen rühmt, können wir schon gar nicht mehr lachen.

Wir haben extra nicht das günstigste Angebot genommen, sondern eine große, international tätige Firma gewählt, der wir gute Kontakte im Start- sowie im Zielland zutrauen konnten, sodass sie, falls etwas Unerwartetes eintritt, schnell Verstärkung besorgen kann. Nichts davon war zutreffend. Der überforderte Subunternehmer hat hier in Wien sogar Menschen auf der Straße angesprochen, um sie zum Mithelfen zu bewegen! Wir sind froh, dass sich niemand gefunden hat, weil sonst wildfremde Menschen mit unserem Eigentum hantiert hätten.

Das Schlimmste: Man hat als Endverbraucher keinerlei Möglichkeit, sich zu wehren. Dachser & Kolb verweigert einen Nachlass einfach oder stellt sich bei Nachfrage taub. Dieser Umzug kann jetzt damit enden, dass wir zu all der Mühe, dem Nervkram und den kaputten Möbeln auch noch einen Anwalt einschalten müssen.
