Am still waiting for the delivery of my container even thought it arrived 3 weeks ago here in Blantyre, Malawi. Very happy to take my money but their agent on this end has no interest at all in getting my stuff delivered. I am left to my own devices to do the clearing. Think twice before using these guys!!

Totally disappointed, having to chase them from here, calling the UK is expensive. So buyer/purchaser beware!!

**Please note l could not pick Malawi as a destination point. All destinations seem to be EU specific only**.

The Britannia UK team exceeded all my expectations with excellent service! From the time that our shipment from South Africa was handed over to them (as they are a service provider to the removal agent in South Africa), I was kept up to date with progress, paperwork, delivery time-frames and support. The delivery team (just a two-man team) was fantastic, taking such precaution to protect all our wordly-treasures. Thank you Britannia - I will certainly recommend your services!
Note: damages was not due to Britannia - these were sustained in transit. The delivery team made me aware of it and offered assistance in moving / removing these items.

I recently moved back from Dubai and needed to ship my furniture and person contents back to Surrey, England. I contacted GAC movers in Dubai who did a very professional and efficient job of picking up our 2 bedroom apartment and carefully packing and removing everything ready for shipment. The shipping took about 4/5 weeks, in the mean time Britannia got in contact to keep me updated on every step on the journey and Kate especially was so helpful and informative. The delivery date was sooner than expected and the ram sent to unpack were fast and efficient and very nice guys. I can't recommend Britannia enough for moving needs and will certainly use them in the future!

Britannia have been an utter pain so far. Our items were packed up on 17th Jan - that went pretty smoothly and the team were fairly helpful although they became noticeably irritable towards the end of the day when they realised it was taking longer than they had expected. Nearly 6 weeks later and the ship hasn't even left port in the UK. I just received an email saying it is departing on 3rd March. We were told before signing up with Britannia that delivery would take 6-7 weeks. Utterly ridiculous. I tried to take it up with our contact at Britannia and she was spectacularly unhelpful and just kept repeating that it could take up to 12 weeks - this doesn't address the issue that we were told it would take 6-8 weeks and would never have used them had they been honest with us in the first place. It has created huge issues with our move to the US.

I have moved on quite a few occasions in the last several years, firstly asking friends and family for help during our first few moves, and then resorting to using a cash in hand man and van person which I was worried about (thankfully turned out ok) after the same family and friends going into hiding
during the move before our recent one, anyway the last time we moved (2 weeks ago) we decided to use a professional company as we had a bit more money available to spend and someone I knew had used Britannia before. They were excellent throughout the whole process, everything was taken care of and the team were friendly and hard working! I couldn't have asked for a better service, they did have to struggle at times on my move as I have 2 very large and very heavy sofas that they had to lift over the top of the fence between myself and our new neighbour to squeeze them round to the back doors as they wouldn't go through the front doors. My husband and I certainly couldn't have done this on our own. Thank you Britannia.

Excellent service from the initial quote to final delivery. The communication from the South African and Surrey office was great throughout. The packing went smoothly. I was regularly informed of the progress of my container from the moment it left my place in Cape Town till the day it was delivered to my place in Bath. Nothing was too much trouble. The unpacking was fast and efficient and the guys took away all the packaging. Everything arrived just as it had been packed and nothing was broken. Thank you for the excellent service. Will not hesitate to use Britannia again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone needed reliable movers.

I want to thank Britannia Ryan's for the excellent, stress free removal to Ireland last month.
The team were so professional, especially Peter . He took charge of the job from start to finish in such a professional and friendly manner.
The only job I had, was to boil the kettle. They packed, moved and unpacked everything.
Everything was put in place in our new home just like it was never moved. It felt like we never moved.
Thanks again guys, I would recommend Britannia Ryan's to anyone who wants to feel like they never moved.

Having had a bad experience on our move into the new property only 3 months earlier with another removal company I didn't want to take any chances this time.

I got 3 quotes and Britannia was not the cheapest but they seemed the most professional, knew what they were talking about, they addressed all our concerns and were very professional with the follow-up items. (we were putting some of our personal possessions into storage and shipping the rest of them to the Far East). 

On packing day the 3 guys turned up on time, they were fantastic in the way the wrapped, boxed, logged everything noting what were fragile and valuable items. They were so in sync with each other in what they were each doing and working as a great team. 

We were able to track our items on the slow boat to China and on unpacking not one item was damaged.

Their customer service is 2nd to none, they are very friendly, prompt with their replies to me.

Worst company ever. called them 10 days ago,was told 25th of July is available for move but they can't booked it officially till quote man comes, which was only available on the 19th. guy came , checked all, agreed 25th is still available.he said on Monday morning I will get quote and have to pay 10 %deposit to secure the date. waited till 1pm before calling them to say I did not get an email. finally received one at 4pm. lady on the phone asked me twice which date is removal, I confirmed again. than when I tried to get them to give me account number to which I could pay I have been sent email 10 min ago telling me that after all 25th is not available!!its in 3 days!!I have already informed other companies that gave me quote that I will be choosing Britania, so now without transport and have to vacate the property in 3 days!! complete disastear, I would never ever recommend.

Following a needed repair in my home, Britannia Movers Int (BMI) was chosen to remove all the furniture, kept them in storage for a while and bring them back.
The Surveyor estimated correctly the volume to be moved so no surprises when the movers arrived.
For both operations (out and in) I found the people professional, courteous and able to provide solutions for any issues seen on the spot.
They were very careful about not damaging/touching/scratching the doors, walls ..
Besides this, from an admin point of view, the person who was in charge of my account (P.L.) was constantly in contact with me to confirm dates and times, need for entry clearance,.., in order to make all this as smooth as possible. And it was.
Based on this experience, I would certainly recommend BMI to anyone.

Had positive experiences moving with Britannia twice. Once to the UK & we were so satisfied with the service, I sought them out to move us back to Oz a few years later. I contacted other companies, but felt confident talking with Rob Hurley - our coordinator. He was open & honest about time frames, options to drop off or pick up goods, expectations of customs on both ends & he communicated quickly & clearly.

The process is probably longer than most people realise - that's just international sea shipping. It took about two months from door to door. Britannia didn't promised they were quicker or cheaper than anyone else however, what they did promise they delivered (literally & metaphorically). They are part of all the associations one could hope for in terms of ensuring integrity & I received consistent, clear communication throughout the process, our goods delivered when promised & no sugar coated details.

I haven't quite finished unpacking the boxes on this end but everything I have seen so far is in the condition I sent it.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them & have alread done so. Thanks for the service Rob & the team at Britannia, I'd use you again should we be on another international move.

Awful experience with this company. Still unpacking broken and damaged items, The pre packing service was atrocious! Slapdash to say the least, nothing like the the service promised. Moving from Worthing to Carmarthenshire with this company was a big expensive mistake and the Insurance cover not worth the paper it's written on. Also, a location check hadn't been carried out, consequently the van should've been down sized in order to remover itself down the lane without complications. Would definitely not recommend.

Didn't allocate enough staff. They then complained about their pay all day. I followed my belongings down the road watching my mattress swinging out of the back of the removal lorry. They caused over £1500 worth of damage. Yes I got half that amount in compensation but they never even apologised! I have since used another company to complete my move and realised just how bad this company is. Never again - and I will advise all my colleagues in the church not to use Britannia as is can't be trusted.

I recently moved from the US back to the UK and I can't recommend Britannia enough. My 36 boxes and 6 suitcases arrived the way they left - undamaged and complete. When I moved to the US 15 years ago with 8 boxes and 2 suitcases, they arrived damaged and 1 suitcase was missing, needless to say I used a different company. The personal service I received throughout this stressful process was exceptional. All my questions were answered immediately and satisfactory. The delivery drivers were helpful and friendly. If you need to move, Britannia is the right choice.

Excellent and very helpful.
We moved from Texas to the UK in June 2018. The company that organised our move from the US was Rainier Overseas Movers and Britannia was their agent in the UK.
The whole process from loading our things into the container in Houston to the arrival at our house in England took less than a month. Everything arrived in perfect conditions.
Laura from Britannia was really helpful getting the paperwork ready for Customs and organising the delivery.
The men who unloaded our things were very helpful, friendly and professional. They took away all the empty boxes and wrapping.
It was a quick and smooth move.

Just relocated from Dallas, TX to Chelmsford, UK using Ranier Overseas Movers with Britannia being the local agent on the UK receiving our shipment.

Have been very impressed with the service from Britannia, we kept me updated throughout the process once Ranier had forwarded our details to them. Shipment arrived at my storage facility according to schedule. Team of 3 unloading our boxes from the Shipping Crates into the storage unit were great, done in no time.

Would recommend Britannia to others and will use them again when we decide to return to the USA.

Since it was not urgent to get to the UK quickly I did not mind the time it took; when the shipment arrived everything was in great condition even a glass table top that I shipped with the realization that it most likely would not make it without a chip, but I am happy to say I was wrong and it was in perfect condition along with a number of crystal items, so thank you everyone for a great job in securing my "stuff". Katie Field on the UK end was also a very patient and helpful contact always courteous even when I phoned a few times so thank you Katie for your help. I will most definitely use this company again and advise anyone who has any hesitation to know that your precious items will be in very good hands, from the beginning to end. We recently moved from Maidenhead to Norfolk (UK) with the Britannia Bucks & Herts team and were very happy with the excellent service we received.
