Richter-Umzüge

Unser Umzug liegt nun knapp ein Jahr zurück und wenn ich eines nun endlich begriffen habe, dann, dass man beim Umzug nicht sparen sollte. Der Preis war attraktiv, unser Volumen wurde geschätzt und schriftlich festgehalten und ich dachte - was kann schon passieren?

Eine ganze Menge...Wir sind von Köln in den Raum Hannover gezogen und haben ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht wie -->"Martin". Beauftragt war Firma Richter, durchgeführt hat den Umzug schlussendlich der Subunternehmer Reuter (nichtmal der alte LKW war gebrandet). Das Volumen wurde vorab geschätzt und schriftlich festgehalten. Nach Anzahlung sollte der Restbetrag nach der Entladung bar oder mit EC beglichen werden. Ich ließ mir schriftlich zusichern, dass ich mit EC zahlen könnte.

Der Umzug lief wie folgt: In Köln blieben ca. 14+ Kisten stehen, weil der LKW nicht groß genug war. Reuters fuhr ohne Lösungsvorschlag los (ca 230 km!). Am Telefon sagte Fa Richter mir, dass man die Sachen über das Wochenende gegen einen nicht näher definierten Aufpreis einlagern und den Rest dann Montag besprechen könne (mein Ansprechpartner war angeblich nicht im Haus). Eine Frechheit und absolute Geldmacherei!

Als der Wagen ankam wurde ich direkt darauf hingewiesen, dass das EC Gerät kaputt sei und ich bar zahlen müssen (ist offenbar eine Masche, denn laut Bewertungen auch schon anderen passiert!). Die Entladung verlief schnell, allerdings wurde die Holztreppe nicht abgedeckt (ein No go bei einem professionellen Unternehmen!) und bei dem Umzug beschädigt. Zum Abschied pinkelten die Umzugshelfer noch beide Toiletten (mit Absicht?) voll und hinterließen ihre benutzen Taschentücher und ihren Müll auf dem Gehweg.

Das Ende vom Lied war, dass mein Mann gegen einen Abschlag kurzfristig einen Transporter anmieten und selbst damit nach Hannover (und wieder zurück) fahren musste - eine furchtbare Zusatzbelastung. Auch bei der Treppe einigten wir uns auf einen Abschlag, aber den Aufwand damit hatten wir! Eine Rechnung über den Umzug erhielt ich nur, weil ich Geld solange zurück hielt, bis ich eine Rechnung vorliegen hatte.

Ich weiß, man denkt immer "es wird schon alles gut gehen" oder "uns passiert es schon nicht". Aber es passiert. Sowohl Richter Umzüge als auch Reuter Umzüge sind absolute Abzocker und ich frage mich, was das Finanzamt wohl finden würde, wenn sie mal genauer hinschauen würden. Bitte lassen Sie die Finger weg - der Horror ist den dumping price nicht wert.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: €2500

A few weeks before the move, the dispatcher had a look at the apartment, made a note of everything and given some pointers on what to look out for when moving. The view with the following cost estimate (on the following day) was free of charge. The final revision of the cost estimate and the final acceptance of the offer were easily possible by phone.
The day before the move, the moving company's packing service was chosen (inexpensive and time-saving and stress-free). The employee came a little later than expected, as the move was very time-consuming that day. It didn't matter that the packer wasn't finished, because the rest of the moving team was packed up the next day. After almost 4 hours everything was loaded into the vehicles and it was off to Reken (I entered food here as Reken did not exist).
Arrived at the destination, the employees got an overview of the apartment and it was clearly agreed where which piece of furniture and especially the boxes should go. Unloading and setting up the furniture was quick and easy.
During the dismantling as well as the assembly of the furniture and the box contents there was no damage. The consultation and the exchange was good and uncomplicated. The total of the cost estimate was kept, so there were no unexpected surprises with the payment. Unfortunately, a tool case got lost. The regulation of the loss was handled quickly and easily.

I applied to Richter for my move within Cologne in mid-July. Unfortunately, the service provided by this company was poor. Even more important in this business is trustworthiness, which in this case was also less than satisfactory. The prices of this company are cheaper than those of its competitors in Cologne; Unfortunately, if you want to commission the services of this company, you have to make sure that everything is agreed precisely and in writing (!). Those who prefer to rely on fair action should stay away from this company. Below I summarize the most important mistakes the Richter company made when I moved.

1. The move was carried out by a third party - Reuters. My contract with Richter allowed this possibility, but they didn't give me any notice. On the day of the move, the Richter’s phones were unanswered, the moving people were almost an hour late, I had no contact with anyone in charge and suddenly a man from another company appeared at my door.
2. The Richter company has given the Reuters company incorrect information. The Richter company gave Reuters an old list of the items to be moved. As a result, in the middle of the move, when the whole household was almost on the street, the head of the moving crew charged an extra charge. Otherwise he would have had to continue exactly from the list, which would have meant they wouldn't have taken some of the moving boxes. Richter made the final and binding price proposal after a volume estimate by employees during an on-site inspection. What they gave Reuters, however, was an old price proposal that was based on a certain number of items (moving boxes) and not on the total volume. The head of the Reuters relocation team was unable to explain this. The Richter company could not be contacted and since I saw the move manager's behavior as a primitive threat, there was an ugly argument with Mr. Reuters on the phone. After an unpleasant half an hour, the Richter company finally got in touch. They negotiated a continuation of the move by paying a tip, since the goods to be moved were "not properly" packed. I agreed to this, even though I asked Richter during the original inspection whether all the cardboard boxes had to be the same size or whether I should observe something different, and received a very carefree answer.
3. Reuters made many shortcomings during the move. Except for the ones already mentioned: The no-parking zone was created only 3 days before the move, instead of the mandatory 4 days, so it was ineffective and cars were parked too. Of course, the company did not even try to tow the parked cars, but blocked the whole one-way street for a good half an hour so that even the cyclists complained. There was even a slight collision between the moving crew and a cyclist.
The move manager was expressly cheeky. An example: All the moving people brought cans of soda with them and put them down the whole stairwell while they were working. When one of the cans in front of my neighbor's door fell over and even spilled onto one of my garment bags, I didn't say anything, but obviously I looked dissatisfied. The moving manager soon told me that I had to “open my mouth” if something was bothering me and even accused me of tipping the can over myself to complain.
4. Before I wrote this review, I wanted to give Richter another chance to explain everything. But they were not interested in my feedback. On the day of the move, Mr Maßen from Richter himself suggested that we clarify everything on the next Monday. I called him on Monday, but he made it no secret that he thought it was a waste of time. Everything went quite normally, as with other moves in Cologne. He said that I should be happy that I “moved”. However, he would ask about the move manager's behavior and give me feedback; but he probably never did that. I first got a word of apology after ten minutes of calling when I mentioned I wanted to write a review for the Internet.

Conclusion: not trustworthy.

I wanted to move with the Richter company. Since the date of the apartment was still changing, I asked the company in good time to reschedule the moving date, which they agreed to. After that, however, they suddenly wanted to claim freight costs. The moving date never came about, the matter was on hold for a few months until I received a payment order. When I contradicted this, I was sent a summons to a court hearing. After some correspondence, I was dumped about a month before the court date due to the withdrawal of the opposing party. I personally cannot recommend this company and strongly advise against moving with Richter Umzüge. The bad reviews on the internet can't come from anywhere ..

Announced at 8 a.m., punctual to the minute. The foreman got a picture of the rooms, addressed open issues, and off we went. In the event of uncertainties or minor existing damage, everything was discussed so that I could quickly buy a replacement for my kinked dishwasher hose, for example, so that it could be installed in the new apartment. The move of my 48m2 apartment was completed within four and a half hours, including furniture assembly in the new apartment where necessary.

Communication top, work speed and quality top. Highly recommended.

The move was carried out by a subcontractor, but I was not informed beforehand; Moving boxes were only delivered after repeated inquiries; No parking zone, although agreed, was not established; 4 employees were specified in the offer; one was withdrawn in the morning; Another employee dropped out in the late afternoon, although card payment had been agreed, I asked to pay on the day of the move; Even after asking several times I still haven't received the promised invoice.
