Man and Van

The guys claiming from this company who showed up looked like characters who are perpertually in trouble with the law especially the guys called Jay and Scott!They had quoted us £350 until all was moved but changed their figure to £390.They were very rude, used swear words at me and my wife and smoked near properties.
We agreed to give them a downpayment of £100 which my wife and I counted, but they claimed they had been given £80 which they claimed they presented to the petrol station when refuelling on the the first trip (despite the receipt showing they had received a £20 change from the cashier at the petrol station)
Later they claimed the downpayment was supposed to be separate (for fuel only and not part of the £390 they were claiming!!).I resolved not to give them the full amount until they finished the job after which they became very abusive with words at me and my wife.I ended up giving them a £200 on condition they would finish the job the following day, then I would give them the last £90.They promised to finish the following day but did not show up.They switched their phones off and haven't heard from them since.We had to use another company to finish the job which we paid another £351.00!!

I booked a removal service for the 18March16. All went well until they broke my expensive Fridge/Freezer. They offered me a discount on the removal service or to repair the fridge and bring it back. I chose for them to repair it and bring it back to me. It never happened. The fridge was never brought back to me and received no compensation. I emailed and called few times but every time they say they do not recall the job. I provided the job number, the date, my name etc.. but every time I receive the same answer. Ten months after the event and still no fridge.

I am the newest fan of Man And Van. They arranged and made possible my moving to Radlett. You know the whole situation with moving abroad is very, very hard but with Man And Van it turned out to be not so stressful. They were polite and friendly and calmed me down. They wrapped and labeled all my belongings and took the road to my new home. I was already in Madrid waiting and the truck arrived on time(they gave me a time frame) and it wad all there without a scratch! They even helped me carry the countless boxes to the apartment without asking for additional money! Perfect, just perfect!
