Hull Removals

Due to arrive at 9am but I got a message saying they were running late with their first job and would be an hour late, arrival estimated between 10.30 and 11am. Then got a message at 12.05 that they would arrive in 5 mins. On arrival told me it would be 2 loads and loaded up first van load. they left for storage unit at 3pm and I got a text at 16.31 saying unable to come back for 2nd load as unit shuts at 6pm and the removals didn't have insurance to keep goods on the van overnight.  Arranged for purchasers of house to give me extension until the next day to remove furniture and arranged for Removals to arrive at 11.30am.  They arrived after lunch. Still unable to move all furniture to storage unit so took some to a storage unit of their own and arranged to deliver the following Monday, 2 days later.  After a few phone calls to them, they delivered to my storage unit a week later. In the mean time they had contacted me to say they had spilt paint over my sofa but had removed the cover to wash it. I never received the cover to my sofa, although they said it was in a box in the unit.  A vital part of my bed frame was missing and I had to have another part made. Part of my bed was damaged and the sofa cushions had tears in them. I tried to contact them but they either couldn't hear me or disconnected phone when I started to speak and then eventually never picked up. This was a York to York delivery, not Leeds as indicated in pick up and delivery section.
