Green Brothers Removals & Storage

The move we planned (over a year ago now) was completed just last month. It took place in two stages. Firstly, moving us out of our existing home and putting our possessions in to store for six months. Secondly, returning our goods to us at our new address either locally or on the south coast, depending upon circumstances.

Mr Phillip Green visited us and came up with a couple of plans to cater for either eventuality. He is a tremendous character, highly knowledgeable and had answers to questions we had not even foreseen.

The team who moved us out and put our goods in to store were superbly efficient, courteous and personable. Nothing was too much trouble and great care was taken at all times, particularly with those items of furniture requiring disassembly before removing and storing.

A few months later, in January this year, our possessions were returned to us at our new home. Again, the same care, attention and professionalism from the team.

Mr Green planned our moves, Linda coordinated them and the teams executed them faultlessly. They arrived on time, carefully loaded and departed on time. When returning our possessions, again they arrived on time, unloaded and returned our property (in good order and reassembled where necessary) and departed on time.

In a nutshell, they did what they said they were going to do and they did it well.

We selected Green Brothers to handle two moves and the storage of house contents in 7 containers. The firm's quotation was competitive and clear and communications were always prompt, efficient and friendly. The uniformed team of packers did a great job wrapping and boxing, moving furniture with care and not being rushed. Everything was managed well and on time. We have not incurred and breakages or damage. This removal firm gave us excellent service. We would recommend them and definitely use them again.

All excellent from loading to delivery. Loaded over 3 days which took the stress away. Separate lorries for my household stuff and garden/ garage/ plants- not all firms do this. Took care to lay carpet down when loading so extra cleaning was minimised before we left. Went to a lot of trouble in getting everything into the correct places in the new home
Reasonable cost - mid priced compared to others. Would highly recommend.

The team who came to pack up and move our things were as polite and helpful as they were efficient and hard-working.  This was especially true on the moving day itself, when they cheerfully worked a long, hard day in the rain, using both ingenuity and strength to get the sofa and fridge-freezer around apparently impossibly tight corners, and taking a great deal of time and trouble to take down and reconstruct desks, wardrobes and beds.  We have used Greens before, and we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

First class removal service from Green Brothers. Organising the move was efficient and friendly, as was the move itself. The guys worked SO hard, with a couple of awkward and heavy items to deal with. They were a pleasure to deal with and also very accommodating to our two very excited little boys who were quite keen to get involved..Philip then came to check we were happy with everything once the move was complete which was really appreciated.A big thank you- we have no plans to move again soon but will 100% recommend you to others.
