Suddenly you reacted very cautiously to emails and refused to admit in writing that the Fischer company caused the damage, although we were standing right next to the movers when the damage was caused. In terms of communication, you suddenly wanted to speak to the owner, then you tried to shift it to the transport insurance. Only after a very clear phone call about the third party debt liquidation, a legal instruction and a legally binding letter did the Fischer company switch on the insurance. Confirming the cause of the damage was still refused by phone. Eliminating the damage and taking care of it was refused - I should first get offers and the insurance would then pay for the cheapest somewhere in the next few weeks. After a new legal instruction that my contractual relationship exists with Fischer and not with their insurance company, Fischer became a bit more talkative, but still didn't want to admit the damage. Only after setting a new deadline, threatening a judicial dunning procedure (for information: then the bailiff comes to the polluter ..) the insurance company sent a short message via email that the damage would be covered. We had meanwhile obtained an offer to repair the damage.
Conclusion: Fast and partly drunk employees, transport service was OK but with damage and miserable subsequent damage settlement.
